Mr. Aderemi Atanda made the assurance after the last meeting of the Forum recently held in Lagos.
NCCF ICT consist of indigenous stakeholders and regulation agencies in ICT industry who come together to protect their interest in Oil and Gas industry in Nigeria.

NCCF-ICT BOSS URGES ICT PRACTITIONERS IN NIGERIA TO TAP INTO OIL AND GAS BUSINESS

The Nigeria Oil and Gas industry Content Development Act bill was passed by the House of Representatives on March 3, 2010, also passed by the Senate on March 10, 2010 and finally signed into law by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the 29th of March 2010. The Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act, according to section 12, precisely reads “that Nigerians are to be given first consideration for the provision of goods and services in the sector”.

The current executive Chairman of the Nigeria Content Consultative Forum in Information Communication Technology (NCCF-ICT) Mr. Aderemi Atanda made this known to pressmen during their group’s sectoral meeting recently held in Lagos.

According to Mr. Atanda, “the focal areas of the NCCF-ICT includes: IT/ICT human capacity building/continuous manpower development; promotion of the acceptance and use of locally developed hardware and software in the oil and gas industry; terms/requirements for accessing ICT related contracts in the industry; research and development on the ICT goods and services needed in the industry and positioning local players to provide the identified needs which will result in carrying out survey to establish a comprehensive database of existing local ICT capabilities and training needed to enhance these capabilities.

Part of what the body deliberated at her July sectoral working meeting are: proposed plan to commission a research that examines the consumption of ICT contracts and projects awarded by Nigerian to determine the percentage of ICT contracts awarded to Nigerian IT firms in the past five years; proposed one day awareness and sensitization event on the local content law and ways it could positively affect the lives of local IT practitioners; compliance and monitoring of the implementation of NOGICD Act for the benefit of local IT practitioners; capacity building and training through collaborations and liaison with the education and training sectoral working group on core IT domain and ICT training in Oil and Gas sector and collaboration with other sectoral working groups to achieve NCCF-ICT mandate.

As part of the efforts of the body to sensitize and create awareness on how the local content law could positively affect the lives of local ICT practitioners in the country, a five man committee was constituted abd saddled with the task to develop a framework, tentative plan, budget and plan for the execution of the one day advocacy event. The committee members are: Mr. Biyi Oladipo (Chairman), Mr. Awonuga Gbolahan (Member), Mrs. Odeneye Olamide (Member), Mrs. Olatunji Abibat (Member) and Mr. Wole Adedoyin (Member).
Also at the meeting were representatives of the NCDMB, Mr. Obinna Osuji and Mr. Jerry Atabong.

Embrace Reading Culture, SYNW Tells State Governors


The Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) has berated the nonchalant attitude of some state governor toward reading culture and tradition in their states.

The National President of the Society, Mr. Wole Adedoyin made the statement at their final reading outreach programme to mark the 2017 edition of Read Across Nigeria (RAN) and establishment of Digital Library in honour of Hajiya Hafsat Abdulwaheed held at Agugu Boys High School in Ibadan.

According to him “The libraries we have in some schools and states now are cemeteries of dead books. Our governments at all levels don’t buy books for schools and state libraries anymore. They don’t even make provision for books in their annual budgets again. All they execute are projects that will make them billionaires overnight”.

Adedoyin however urged the state governors to pay attention to their state and schools’ libraries, equip them with modern and relevant curriculum based books. And also explore all avenues to make reading attractive and friendly to students and youth.

Read Across Nigeria (RAN) is an initiative powered by the Society of Young Nigerian Writers aimed at promoting reading in the country by showcasing eminent writers as role models to the young.

RAN last year successful debut featured a former National President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), former member of the Nigerian House of Representatives and the founder of Ebedi Writers Residency, Dr. Wale Okediran.

Osun HDP Lauds Osun INEC on Continuous Voters Registration
Urges Osun Citizens to troop out for registration
The Osun State Chairman of the Hope Democratic Party, Mr. Wole Adedoyin has commended the Osun State Branch of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the remarkable improvement in the ongoing voters registration exercise in the state, which has gathered meritorious commendations from Osun Citizens and politicians. The party urged the people to cooperate with INEC and troop out to register.
This is contained in the party’s press release signed by the Osun State Chairman of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) Mr. Wole Adedoyin on the ongoing CVR exercise in Osun State.
Mr. Adedoyin noted that INEC had overcome the initial challenges, which characterised the exercise and made it for people to be registered in just about five minutes. He further appealed to the Osun State citizens to be patient and come out enmasse to register so as to vote for the candidate of their choice in the forthcoming 2018 Guber election in the State.
The release scored the INEC very high in public awareness and sensitization of the registration, opening and closing of registration centres, conduct of its officials and availability and functioning of Direct Data Capturing (DDC) machines.

“We are fully aware of the importance of Continous Voters Registration exercise. While it is duly provided for in the Electoral Act 2010 (As Amended), it must be emphasized that accommodating all and sundry in the Voters Register comes first and must be subjected to all due diligence for all to register before displays are made. Im appealing to other political parties in Osun State to assist INEC in the area of creating awareness for their members to participate in the ongoing registration exercise in the state” Adedoyin said.

The party however said it is important that the personnel who will operate the machines are adequately trained to understand how to manipulate the wares even when they malfunction.”

HDP MOURNS SENATOR ISIAKA ADELEKE

• Urges recommitment to the cause for which Senator Isiaka Adeleke lived and died

The National, South West arm and Osun State Chapter of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) on Monday joined other eminent Nigerians to mourn the death of the first Executive Governor of the State, Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, who currently represents Osun West Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
The National Chairman of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP), Chief Ambrose Owuru through a phone call to the Osun state Chairman of his Party said: “I received with sadness and a deep feeling of great national loss, news of the recent passing away of the first Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke who also currently represents Osun West Senatorial District at the National Assembly”
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to Senator Isiaka Adeleke’s family and the current Executive Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola .’’
In his own message, the South West Zonal Chairman of HDP, Chief Kazeem Sokunbi described Senator Isiaka Adeleke as “a principled, dogged, and unrelenting politician, fully committed to any progressive and democratic course he believes in. May God give his family the fortitude to bear the loss”.
Mr. Wole Adedoyin, Osun HDP State Chairman, in a similar message described the death of the former Chairman, Governing Council, Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, University of Calabar as grievous and monumental loss to the state of Osun and the nation.
According to him “I am convinced that his death at this point in our nation building process will be missed by all. This is because his contributions not only to the development of the state of Osun but to the socio-economic and political advancement of our country have been enormous. His type is rare, his personal sacrifices and selfless services to the poor and his people uncommon. He deserves everything that the State Governor of the State of Osun can do to give him a befitting honour to immortalize his name as a great democrat and grassroots politician, ,’’ Adedoyin added.

Oyo APPPS berates Oyo IPAC over fake press release
Reaffirms their separation from IPAC
The Oyo State Chapter of the Association of Progressive Political Parties (APPPS) has passed vote of no confidence on the Waheed Oyewole led IPAC in Oyo State.
This was contained in a communiqué signed and issued to our reporter by APPPS Oyo State Chairman, Secretary and Public Relations Officer, Mr. David Akinola, State Chairman of PDC, Mr. Olaitan Oladunni, State Chairman of BNPP and Tolulope Adedoyin, State Chairman of APA at the end of the state APPPS EXCO meeting held yesterday at the APA State Secretariat, Onireke, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Our attention is drawn to the unwarranted attack launched against us by Oyo IPAC leadership that our recently released statement about quitting the body was fake and that we are not authentic members of IPAC in the state from the inception of IPAC.
Leading the assault, Oyewole said “We believe that such news are carried by jobless, clueless and demented beggars who are possibly seeking cheap popularity where there are none!”
He further said “We also collectively denounce the so mentioned parties and their miscreants whose names were mentioned, as parties and people that never existed among us and could never claim to have pulled out of IPAC, Oyo State, How can any party claim to have pulled out of IPAC when they were never members of IPAC at any time?”
According to Oyo State APPPS “We at the Oyo APPPS consider these statements (though poorly written) as lunatic statement rendered by one retarded Waheed Oyewole to be an unnecessary display of his mental disability and arrogance, which is most unfortunate.”
In a further interview with our reporter, the State P.R.O of APPPS, Tolulope Adedoyin said, “APA, PDC and BNPP are all registered political parties in the country and we are recognized by the Oyo State branch of the National Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) as state chairmen of our respective political parties. African People Alliance Party (APA) my party came third in the last Presidential election; please visit INEC Website for full fact, APA even got their highest votes in my state. My party’s National Secretary in person of Alh. Sifawa Samaila is the current National Treasurer of IPAC. How come Waheed is not fully aware of this? How come my party is not a member of IPAC as he claimed? In IPAC it is mandatory for all the political parties to join because IPAC is the only avenue of communicating with INEC. The problem of Waheed Oyewole is that he has not read the IPAC Code of Conduct before rendering his lunatic statement or better still we shall translate it to Yoruba language if the English it was written is very difficult for him to comprehend. And for his information APA has never romanced the incumbent Governor Abiola Ajimobi instead we worked against him in the last general elections by adopting Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja of the Accord Party. It was published in the Nigerian Newspapers. We directed all our Members to vote for him, please confirm from the present State Secretary of the Accord Party for full details. Oyo APA entourage was in Adewolu Ladoja’s house a day before the last governorship election” Adedoyin claimed.
David Akinola of PDC, who is also the State Chairman of Oyo State APPPS, said “Waheed Oyewole is brainless and should be shameful of himself for uttering such statement. He should know that all registered political parties in the country are automatic members of IPAC. The state branches are free to quit if they want depending on the conduct of such state chapter. We said it in our statement that we don’t know what they (Oyewole led IPAC) are doing; they don’t invite us to meetings that is our grudge with them. We heard a lot about how they used our party names to dube political candidates and political parties in the last general elections in Oyo State. We heard all they did in the name of Oyo IPAC. The whole of Oyo State are fully aware of all their misdeeds and our opting out of IPAC in Oyo State. Renowned and reputable online newspapers carried the news. Even the present Commissioner for Health Dr. Azeez Adeduntan Website published the news on his website. We shall publish it out, how they got money from H.E. Alao Akala of Labour Party, Engr. Seyi Makinde of SDP and Senator Teslim Folarin of PDP in the last general election. But my Party alongside APA stood together with the Accord Party candidate Senator Adewolu Rasheed Ladoja.
Oyo APPPS Secretary, Mr. Olaitan Fadunni, also the State Chairman of BNPP said “Oyewole has turned Oyo IPAC to a beggars association. Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State heard how they collected money from all the major candidates of different opposition political parties in the last governorship election, they even went to him for same and he disgraced them. That is how the Governor started disassociating himself from them. Oyewole never filled any candidate in the last election for his party and he was made IPAC Chairman, what a shame! And I’m fully sure that SDP, Labour, PDP and Accord Party would never be part of their fake meeting they claimed they had for they themselves know how irrelevant, fake and irresponsible Oyewole turned IPAC Oyo into. We challenged Oyewole to publish the names and signatures of those parties’ representatives that attended his illegal meeting. Since inauguration they have never released any press statement whether to commend or against the current government. We urge Oyo State Government to proscribe Oyo IPAC as an occult group and illegal association in the state”.
Meanwhile, the APPPS in the State lauded Alh. Muhammad Nalado, the National Chairman of IPAC in the country for his efforts in transforming IPAC and promoting peace and unity among political parties in the country.

The Osun state chapter of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) has condemned the constant press feud between the ruling party APC and the major opposition party PDP in the state calling on both to consider the interest of the public and put aside crisis between them.
In an interview with our reporter in Osogbo, the state capital, Chairman of the Osun HDP, Mr. Wole Adedoyin said his party has decided to respond to the unnecessary press feud between the two major political parties in the state. Mr. Adedoyin described the process as a way of diverting the public attention for their selfish gains.
According to him “PDP has a huge problem which they should face. Presently, their house is divided and they had once failed the state when they ruled for seven and a half solid years, with nothing good to show for it.
Mr. Adedoyin further lamented that the two parties have abandoned their main objective in the delivery of much responsibilities in the state. “Our great opposition party would not take that for granted, we will not fold our arms watching political scenes in place of the supposed provision of dividends of democracy in our state”.
“PDP should not do anything that would disrupt the peaceful political atmosphere in the state. Let them face their internal crisis and leave Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to work. He has only few months to leave the government house. Why should PDP be creating unnecessary political tension in the state?” he challenged.
And on Senator Iyiola Omisore, the Chairman advised him to face his 2018 gubernatorial ambition instead of uttering words that would put the state in political chaos and never dream that the Miracle that worked for President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 election would also work for him after several failed attempts.

Publish your assets, Osun HDP tells Aregbesola’s cabinet nominees and LG Caretake Committees---
The Osun State Chairman of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) has urged Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola’s cabinet nominees to promptly make public the details of their assets.
The Party made the request in a statement issued by its State Chairman, Mr. Wole Adedoyin on Saturday in Ilesa, Osun State.
Mr. Adedoyin said the public declaration of their assets would be in support of Buhari’s anti-corruption project as one of his promises to the electorate.
It said the request followed when Ogbeni Aregbesola sent the names of his nominees list for the positions of Local Government Caretaker Committee, Special Advisers and Commissioners to the Osun State House of Assembly for interrogation and adoption last week.
The party said: “we welcome the bold step of our Governor and he should know that our request complies with the requirements of the Nigerian Constitution and the Bureau of Code of Conduct.
“However, the declaration before the Code of Conduct alone falls far short of the commitment to publicly declare their assets.
“HDP further explain that this request should also be one of the conditions for appointment, nobody should be asked to bow and go. We are therefore fully in support of the demand for assets declaration; that is a place to start to assess and examine their administration. We all know from the beginning that majority of the nominees are always richer ten times after they leave offices as against the first day they take up the positions in disguised poverty.
“We urge Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to fulfill this promise to the citizens of Osun State.
“We trust that the Governor will move swiftly to compel all his nominees to publicly declare their assets and to publish widely the information on the state’s website and social media platforms.’’
According to HDP, public disclosure of assets will give the general public a true picture of Ogbeni Aregbesola’s nominees’ assets and will send a powerful message that it is not going to be business as usual with his government.
It said the move would follow the best practices as laid down by late President Umaru Yar’Adua and boost Osun State government’s fight against corruption and impunity of the perpetrators

In a press release made available to our reporter on Tuesday by the Osun State Chairman of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP), Mr. Wole Adedoyin has commended the Executive Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola over the recent appointment of the state’s Local Government Caretaker Committee. The noble decision is a welcome development and a smart way of getting his party prepared for the 2018 election in the state.
Mr. Adedoyin however advice the State Governor to immediately constitute the state independent electoral committee who would organize masses oriented local government election after the tenure of the just constituted local government caretaker committee.
Osun HDP Chairman who is also the Coordinator and Editor of Osun Redemption Group and 2018 Osun Guber Watch further urged the Governor to embark on people oriented projects that will bring dividends of democracy to the individual citizenry of the State of Osun.
The party reiterates its support for the Osun State Independent National Electoral Commission in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration Exercise. According to him, HDP is ready to assist Osun INEC in the area of Voters Registration, Engagement, Education and Mobilization. MUCH ADO ABOUT CNPP AND IPAC

INTRODUCTION
Those who are familiar with all the masterpieces of the Late William Shakespeare would have read his funny and enchanted play he titled “Much Ado about Nothing”. I was then in JSS 3 when my Late Father, Prof. Albert Aderemi Adedoyin (a Prince from Ibodi Village in Ilesha) gave me his original copy of the Complete Works of Shakespeare. I made the book my companion. One of my favorite plays in the collection is Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing where I derived the title of this short article. The play was full of pun, metaphor, hyperbole, imagery and all other literary devices.
The meaning of the Interparty Advisory Council to me is an intermediary between the electoral Umpire (INEC) and the players (Political Parties). Though the name in Abstract was coined from Ghana’s Interparty Advisory Council. Nigeria INEC stole Ghana’s intellectual property (laughs). Nigeria IPAC is a template of Ghana’s Interparty administration and management. Though not much has been improve with Nigeria’s IPAC when compared to Ghana’s IPAC. I’ve been following the trends of both organizations in the two different countries. Ghana’s IPAC has been doing well. They enjoy independent from their country’s electoral umpire unlike my country and they are always in war of words with the government if they go against their rights or wishes. Should I call them original IPAC (IPAC Ghana) while ours is the opposite (joking). But remember that we stole their names and interparty administration and management. It was even written in the IPAC Code of Conduct that Nigeria’s IPAC was a prototype of Ghana’s IPAC. My sincere appreciation goes to those visionary leaders who sat down and brought this democratic idea into Nigeria’s democracy.
I see IPAC as a strong vehicle for conveying our Democracy into promise land. Currently IPAC Nigeria has no written names or printed documentary of those who championed the cause of IPAC. But ive seen and heard about the good efforts of Prof. Bartholomew Nnaji (presently the National Chairman of the Better Nigeria Progressive Party (BNPP), Dr. Yinusa Tanko (currently, the National Chairman of the National Conscience Party (NCP)) and my present IPAC Boss, Hon. Muhammed Nalado (currently, the National Chairman of the Accord Party (AP)). Majority of IPAC members don’t even know that Hon. Muhammed Nalado is currently using his second term as IPAC National Chairman. He was once a National Chairman when IPAC Nigeria was crawling.
I’ve had opportunities to discuss and brainstorm with the three above mentioned names. And they told me all they did, their contributions toward the development and growth of IPAC in the country.
MY INVOLVEMENT WITH IPAC AND CNPP
JOINING CNPP IN OYO STATE
Before the advent of IPAC in the country, a viable political association then was the current Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP). I remembered I first joined the CNPP when I was then the Oyo State Secretary/PRO of Alh. Balarabe Musa’s Peoples Redemption Party (PRP). There was then a faction between Alh. Yinka Olona and one Arc. Oyeniyi. Though Alh. Yinka Olona faction was the one recognized by the Governor then in administration, H.E Otunba Alao Akala. I was made the State Secretary of Arc. Oyeniyi CNPP faction which was then receiving support from Chief Lamidi Apapa (who was then the Oyo State Chairman of the Labour Party now its Southwest Chairman) and Comrade Laoye Sanda (a radical activist). I also remembered when I was made the Oyo State Secretary of a coalition, known then as Coalition for A New Nigeria (CNN) initiated by Alh. Balarabe Musa with the major aim of using it to wrest power from the ruling party at both the Federal and State levels in 2011. Comrade Laoye Sanda chaired the Coalition. I still have some of the minutes of the Coalition with me. That same year Governor Adebayo Alao Akala of PDP lost the election to the current Governor, H.E. Abiola Ajimobi. 12 Political Parties including CAN, LP and CPC then were members of the Coalition. It was when I was in PRP I started talking to Baba Balarabe Musa. We discussed almost every day. I was later appointed the Oyo State Organizing Secretary of Alhaji Yinka Olona Faction when I joined his team.
JOINING IPAC IN OYO STATE
I politically became a member of the Interparty Advisory Council(IPAC) in 2012 during the country’s constitutional review. I was then one of the official delegates appointed to attend the South West Constitutional Review held in Eko Airport Hotel in Ikeja. Dn. Samson Olalere (now the Southwest Chairman of APGA) and Alhaji Yinka Olone (now the Southwest Chairman of the Conference of Nigeria Political Parties CNPP) made it possible for my party to attend. For I was then the Oyo State Chairman of the Peoples Mandate Party (PMP) under the National Leadership of Prof. Edward. I learnt that one Dr. Sadiq was then the National Coordinator of IPAC. The event was organized by FG with support from UNDP and other international support groups. Individual parties from Oyo State then were given 108,000. I remembered sending a token to the National Headquarters of my Party as part of my state’s annual due. That gave me a good recommendation even after the party was deregistered in 2011. And it was the first time my party members would receive their dividend of Democracy.
2014 was when IPAC came to stay in all the states of the federation. Elections took place in August of that year where I was voted in as the Foundation Secretary of the Oyo State IPAC. APA (my party) got 17 votes against PPA (one Engr. Ogunjimi) got 5 Votes. Dcn. Samson Olalere and Alh. Yinka Olona did all the spade works for us to win that election. Alh. Sifawa Samaila, APA National Seceratry also did his best to make sure I participated in the election by given me proper documents.
RELOCATION TO OSUN STATE
I left Oyo State when my father died. It was a difficult decision for me to make then whether to still remain in Oyo or to go to Osun. A family meeting held in Ilesa mandated me to relocate to Osun state to oversee the family properties and business. I brought APA to Oyo State and I made sure that it contested in the last election. We had Governorship Candidate and House of Assembly Candidates. I personally took all my candidates forms to our National Headquarters in Abuja while other chairmen sent theirs through DHL or Travelling Buses. When I left for Osun State, I made those we started the party together in Oyo State as part of the current executive members of the party in the state. They know the nooks and crannies of the party structure in the state. Most of them contested for House of Assembly.
When I got to Osun State, I wanted to be politically relevant like I was in Oyo state. I sat down, downloaded many articles, releases and reports of political activities and elections in Osun State. I read through everything, there I got to know that the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) was not in Osun State. Since the registration of the Party, it has never been brought to Osun State. I got the contact of Chief Abrose Owuru (the present National Chairman of Hope Democratic Party (HDP)) who asked me many questions and later made me the Osun State Chairman of the Hope Democratic Party without facial discussion or appearance. He personally without collecting any kobo from me sent me my letter of Appointment as Chairman through my electronic mail. Alh. Sifawa Samaila of the African People’s Alliance Party APA, also did the same for me.
THE DIVISION IN IPAC OYO
IPAC consists of members with selfish and diverse interests. The major selfish mission of every IPAC exco is to use their position to get something from their ruling government. They can do anything to achieve their aims. Even fight their benefactors to achieve their selfish aims. This is what caused the division in Oyo IPAC. Those who know me know that I don’t betray my benefactors. If they sink, I sink with them. This is my political ideology. When some angered Oyo IPAC members thought our leaders then were cheating them, when I made my research I found out they were lying against them, they were only looking for a way to free away themselves from their benefactors to pursue their selfish interests. When I emerged as the foundation secretary of the Interparty Advisory Council in Oyo State, I fashioned out 7 points agenda aim at strengthening the body and democracy in Oyo State. Apart from the agenda, I gave them the template of their Letterhead, ID card, built them blog and online newsletter. Even intimate the body with Oyo DSS, Commissioner of Police and NOA.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE CNPP AND IPAC LEADERS
BALARABE MUSA – CNPP – National Chairman of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP)
I always call him my grandfather. When I was then the Oyo State Secretary of PRP, Baba would call me first to ask about my family and work, then party affairs would follow. Baba made me to hate ruling parties, especially those that are anti-masses. I got to know the practical meaning of Talakawa Politics through him. I learned a lot from him. Since the foundation of CNPP, I’ve known him to be only the organization’s true leader. I remembered when I wanted to bring Baba to Oyo State through my proposed Annual Balarabe Musa Distinguished Personality Lecture. Baba wanted to come but due to some change in logistics then, the programme couldn’t hold. Baba Balarabe Musa is currently the major voice of the Opposition Parties in Nigeria.
PROF. BATHOLOWEW NNAJI –IPAC – National Chairman of Better Nigeria Progressive Party (BNPP)
Prof. that is what I always call him. He talks too much but his a true democrat. I was surprised when he told me he was the first Coordinator of IPAC. Though I still don’t believe him since IPAC don’t have any written document to proof this fact. He confessed to me how he struggled to make IPAC a viable and effective organization. He told me how he started IPAC constitution now known as IPAC Code of Conduct.
DR. YINUSA TANKO – IPAC – National Chairman of National Conscience Party (NCP)
I always refer to him as my Egbon. A radical politician. We’ve met in many political functions. Constitutionally, Yinusa Tanko should be regarded as the First National Chairman of IPAC in Nigeria. Because he was elected by political parties in an election administered by the Independent National Electoral Commission by themselves. He always calls me WALE instead of WOLE (laughs). He encourages young people like me a lot to venture into politics. During his tenure as IPAC President, he started Annual IPAC National Conference with the maiden edition which was held in Kaduna in 2015.
HON. MUHAMMAD NALADO – IPAC - National Chairman of the Accord Party (AP)
Many IPAC Members who are part of IPAC Watchdog (a platform I created for sharing INEC and IPAC News across the Country) knew what I did against Alh. Nalado during the last IPAC National Election. I campaigned for his opponent Alh. Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, the current National Chairman of the Labour Party. But Alh. Abdulkadir Abdulsalam lost by 2 votes to Alh. Nalado. Alh. Nalado surprised me later when he extended his heart of love to me. Despite all I did, he made me one of his people. He has made history as the first IPAC President to send IPAC Members at the state level to training in KURU, Jos. Though a capacity building workshop aim at enhancing political party administration and management in the country. Hon. Nalado has also gotten a befitting National Secretariat of IPAC in Abuja.
ALH. BASHIR IBRAHIM – IPAC – National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM)
We only talked once. He didn’t record outstanding achievements like Alh. Yinusa Tanko and Hon. Muhammad Nalado. The only website he built for IPAC stopped running immediately he left the office as National Chairman and the Office he claimed he got for the organization folded up after he left office. The only achievement he recorded is the issuance of certificate of service to serving members of IPAC executives.
CHIEF PETER AMEH – IPAC – National Chairman of the Peoples Progressive Alliance (PPA)
I call him Bros. Peter Ameh is a Journalist and Computer Guru. A former National Secretary of IPAC under the leadership of Alh. Tanko Yinusa. A pal of the Former Nigeria President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. We were much closed when I wanted him to remove the foundation Chairman of Oyo IPAC. As IPAC Secretary he tried his best in the area of information dissemination and press releases. He lost his IPAC National Chairmanship bid to Alh. Bashir Ibrahim of Peoples Democratic Party (PDM).
CHIEF SAM EKE – IPAC – National Chairman of Citizen Popular Party (CPP)
He is the only PHD holder among party national chairmen in the country. He is known to me as “Baba Onirugbon” meaning “bearded man”. He is the current Secretary General of IPAC. I know he is currently preparing to run for IPAC National Chairman. I’ve not seen much of him compare to when Peter Ameh was holding the same position.

Wole Adedoyin is the current Osun State Chairman of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) and the National Coordinator of Democratic Writers Association of Nigeria.

A group known as the Democratic Writers Association of Nigeria (DWAN) under the National leadership of Mr. Wole Adedoyin during their national executive meeting which took place at their National Secretariat in Osogbo yesterday urged the Federal Government to use the ongoing database registration to provide jobs and security for the unemployed citizens in the country.
This call is sequel to an information received from a reliable source that the Federal Government is planning to use the ongoing database registration for the 2019 election. But we hope that President Muhammadu Buhari will never do such undemocratic act that will jeopardise the progress of the country the Mr. Wole Adedoyin hinted.
The group however praised President Muhammadu Buhari for his vision and forsight in provinding jobs and security for unemployed graduates in the country.

STOP RUNNING OYO STATE AS YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTIES
– OYO APPS TELLS GOV. AJIMOBI

The Association of Progressive Political Parties, Oyo State Chapter in a release jointly signed by the State Chairman, State Secretary and State P.R.O in Person of Mr. David Akinola of Peoples for Democratic Change (PDC), Mr. Oladunni Olaitan of Better Nigeria Progressive Party (BNPP) and Mr. Tolulope Adedoyin, African People Alliance Party (APA) has berrated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Governor Abiola Ajimobi over his recent undemocratic appointment of one of his family members and his closest political associates against the overall interest of innumerable APC members in Oyo State.
According to the release, Governor Ajimobi is driving back the progressive wheel of Democratic practices as laid down by his predecessors in the governance of Oyo State. After appointing his wife as the Chairperson of the Oyo State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS, his brother has now been appointed as a caretaker chairman to the detriment of Oyo APC card carrying members who laboured tirelessly to get him his second term governorship ticket.
The release further describe his style of governance and democratic practices as selfish and undemocratic. Citing his failures in education, public health care and management and provision of infrastructural facilities to the people of Oyo State.
