No Southerner needs the NW and NE to win an election provided they're United. Buhari had the undisputed support of the NE and NW in 2011 how did that turn out. He had to align with the SW before he could win in 2015. But Jonathan won in 2011 without northern support.

The same cannot be said of Kaduna, Gombe and Adamawa with significant Christian populations or Plateau, Nasarawa, Benue and Taraba where christians are majority. And it is only an idíot that wants thunder to fire him or her that will expect a Muslim to be governor or even deputy in Anambra, Imo, Crossriver or Enugu. About Yoruba states we all know how relatively indifferent yorubas are to issues bothering on repigion. As of today, there's no corner in AKure where you won't see these people in their numbers. Some are even from far away countries like Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Senegal. They are now bringing in their wives and children to reside here. They are literally everywhere from arakale to old garage to araromi, odojoka, oke aro, ayedun, ijoka, benin garage and many other parts of Akure. Are we supposed to fold our arms and look on while these people dominate us in our own land?
