Once your Dad became a citizen it's like they asked for documents proving the relationship.
Your Dad needs to provide that.
RFE means request for evidence.

Immediate relative category is for citizens filing for their spouse children under 21 and parents.
That's where your petition is right now, the evidence they require from your Dad is to move you from. f2A (children under 21 of green card holders) to the IR category.

The advantage is that the IR has a much much shorter time once the petition is approved.

Budget: £1,300
accommodation: Hostel in London e,g Astor Victoria Hostel
Based on my profile, do i need to proceed with my application or wait for some months.
Travel history: West Africa, 5 days in Ghana, 2 days in Cotonou, a pass-by in Togo

Wait for your disposal income to stable say ,3+4months

If the RFE is at USCIS. The it means they require evidence from your Dad.
Your petition is yet to be approved. Qhen it is then your priority date would be
Did tjhe RFE come after your Dad hasd become a US citizen
He needs to provide that evidence they requested asap.
Once your petiton is approved youd fall under immediate relatives so no need for dates just waiting for embassy to schedule your interview

I earn 1day and a half per month. So I actually travelled 3 months after I arrived my leave was 4 days I think . Used benefit of 2 weekends plus 1 fed holiday.

I think I've only ever tried 2 weeks in Nigeria once. I go every year and keep my itinerary small. Anyone I don't see I'll see on the next trip

I tried last year, it was the payment organization who didn't let me finish
Innovate or something like that. They couldn't confirm my payment so I travelled like that

That's the question for your petitioner to answer. If they have provided the right evidence then it will be approved.

I was supposed to go to Canada for my birthday in March, but this job won't let me. They wouldn't even give me a week off and their reason was that I have to have worked for at least a year to earn a week off.

What's even more ironic is that I have flight benefits but I haven't even used it once. I'm saving all the PTO and vacation for later this year when I plan on traveling to Nigeria later this year. As bad and terrible as it is, I miss that country, Nigeria.

Yes very easy as long as you have all the documentations that legally require you to live in the US permanently.

Just last year here, my cousin with his green card applied for a schegen Visa and he was given without much stress. He ended up visiting Sweden, Netherlands and Italy..

They know you won't give up your permanent stay in US to run off to stay in Europe as an illegal immigrant. It just doesn't make sense.

But as a green card holder, I think I do not need a Visa to go to Canada. I stand to be corrected.

Correct not for Canada. Though I think you still have to carry your passport plus green card.

Mexico though that should just green card.

Go ahead as normal, it falls under Citizen services so very different from visa services

For those who just graduated due to the court judgement your OPT will be adjudicated now so good news.
So pending when USCIS appeal of that judgement is heard decisions on applications will be made

New visa appointment dates and times have been released following reports about the planned reduction of U.S. consular visa processing operations across Africa. Before now, July and August were completely booked, but currently, interview slots appear to be available on most working days across both months.

With this development, there may now be a higher possibility that the ban could be lifted before the end of June.

You know it wasn't all visas that were part of the ban. And booked months on dates doesn't mean these were blocked due to people booking the dates. Consulates release date as they like.

So USCIS has filed an appeal but pending that appeal the USCIS will resume processing and comply with the court judgement.

Thank you my interview went well except for the visa pause issue.

We lodged at Ikoyi Fairview Apartments at Dolphin estate and it was quite affordable and a pleasant stay.

The VO just asked our children who they are and who we are to them and to each other basically trying to confirm the genuineness of our relationship as we had stated. Asked me questions about the petitioner, where he lives and what he does. And he said he found the relationship genuine just that he is sorry that he cannot issue a visa to us now as there is a visa pause and that we should contact them when the ban is lifted. The process for us was so fast.. faster than others that were interviewed before us.

When filing in from outside when they start allowing people in at 6:30am, try to move forward so that you will be amongst the early sets of people to get inside the main interview room.

Due to the Fed district court judgement on the pause for applications inside US from travel ban countries and including immigrant visas at consulate. USCIS has confirmed it will comply at the same USCIS has filed an appeal.

What this means is that pending the appeal the situation returns to how it was before the pause.

So if you recently had your immigrant interview please keep checking your emails and contact Lagos IIV on when you can bring your passports

A district court ruled against it and said it's discriminatory . Since for the same process the countries can get adjudication but banned country citizens can't.
Anyways Fed still get an injunction and this might go to Supreme court.

I honestly think USCIS would lift the pause and put in some conditions for these conditions

I'm not sure what she was adjusting but if your under 21 then you'd be immediate relative category .

I'm assuming she filed for you same as hers
Your case would have to get to NVC stage before Consular interview

Anyways your process would be pending when the visa ban that affects immigrants visa for those doing consular interviews is lifted.

We can't say where you are but if you are in F category (which I doubt) share your priority date then we can gauge from the visa bulletin.

Just list the person place as where you will be staying. The form does ask where you will stay.
You'd need proof of the persons right to stay in the UK.

Since this person is not a relative I'm not sure of what would prove relationship.

You'll only get scholarship if they believe you have something to offer and funds are limited it takes diligence to wait and get them.
No one can tell you if second masters is possible. Apply and if you get admission then it's possible

Bare in mind having funding does not equate to visa issuance.

Besides there's a visa ban for Nigerian passport holders

Employment based routes just use your search engine or any AI tool. You'll see options

Having the full money in one's account as shown via bank statements does not mean one is disposed to throw it all into education, especially as they know the applicants are more likely to be grown adults who possibly would have family. How many Brits can pay 10% of that money at a go. This move is more like them telling people not to bother to go further with the application. Makes no sense at all!

You get admission
School tells you your tuition and cost of living expenses
You present funds stating you have enough to meet these requirements of school
Then you say you can't pay TUITION in FULl?
So if you can not pay TUITION in full what will you about living expenses


There's a reason why places like Germany insist your funds are out in a bloc account where you can only access in the country.

I think your case is more dependent on the fact that you have a job. So provide evidence of the exam and the job you work to strengthen your case.

Just scrutinize your account so that what your statement says tallies with the breakdown of your savings , income and expenses you have listed here.

In my opinion you don't need a sponsor.
You are going for the purpose of an exam as a working adult so why would someone sponsor you.

The 2 million you put covers the cost of an Air bnb right? If there is someone you can stay with such that it covers accommodation then in that way they cover accommodation costs. You can indicate that in the other information box in the form and in any other relevant area. So long as the person provides evidence of that .
This would reduce your spend a bit.

You would need details of the exam, date and that you have paid as well to include on the application

3. What if I can't provide any pictures especially with petitioner because of lost phones and datas recently... will there be any issues?

For photos, you can look for any old photos or ask the petitioner or your siblings if they have any since you lost your data/ phones.

You can also use wedding pics if your petitioner was there at your wedding or any pics with grand kids.

I used pics with grandkids .

If you have pics of petitioner with your brother you can print that out cos it shows familial relationship since your brother left with F2.

It's not likely that they will ask you to do DNA.
