Rules for those who want to invest in crypto.

1.Don't trust anyone. They want to make money and will pump you if you let em.

2. Never join any scheme that promises results.

3. Never join any scheme that pays you for signing up others. And certainly never give your "referral link" to someone. That makes YOU the scammer.

4. Prepare for the opportunities that will come with research. Don't attempt to force things when your preparation doesn't meet that opportunity.

5. If you see a coin skyrocketing, you're too late to join. Seriously.... it's too late. Put down your crypto.

6. Everyone has an agenda. Even you. Learn your bias and try to overcome it. Don't let your rose colored glasses cloud your vision.... and certainly don't let someone else's.

7. The goal is more bitcoin. If you wanna play around in other coins to acquire more bitcoin.....go for it. But always have bitcoin. It's been declared dead 100 times...it's still king. It has the brand and institutional support. Don't believe those who say it's gonna die...even when it loses half it's value (which is gonna happen some day...always does)

8. Don't invest in coins that go against your belief system.... even if they could make you money. If you believe in decentralization, don't buy a centralized coin. You're cutting your own throat. The money you invest has real effects on the businesses behind the coins.

9. Realize most coins will fail. And if you're in em, Your money will disappear. The larger the market cap, the less likely they are to disappear.

10. There is a ton of manipulation in the crypto space. The smaller the market cap, the easier it is to pump and dump a coin. This is why you don't "chase candles" at all...but especially with small cap coins. That's how they lure you in and take your cash.... you see huge growth and invest....then you bought their new boat for em.

11. In order for you to value someone's opinion, you MUST require that they give you sound reasoning for their call. Just saying "buy this coin and you'll thank me later" is ridiculous.

12. IF that company REALLY had some software program that guaranteed results....they wouldn't be taking your money and letting you benefit...they'd be using their software program to get stupid rich.

13. Crypto is 100% NOT REGULATED. Anyone can do anything. And they do. You're on your own and at your own risk. Go slow.

14. 100% ignore anyone who wants to talk in PM or private. The reason they don't want someone else to comment on what they want to say is..... they are full of shit. Likely trying to scam you. If you can't say something about crypto in a crypto forum, it's cause you're full of it.

15. People will ask you to pay for their mistakes. They will tell come online hyping up shit coins so you'll invest and drive up the price so they can sell that coin they've been stuck in for months. Ignore everyone's advice on what to buy & don't waste your time chasing these sort of recommendations.

16. There is a COST for every dollar every day. If you're holding 1k of some stagnant coin, that's 1,000 dollars that aren't growing. Not saying you should never hold. Just realize that it doesn't come without lost opportunity.

My case with opeyemi100 has become a case of the hunter becoming the hunted. I won't bother reading his rather lengthy story so I'll just go to the point especially since some of you are already aware of how he refused to give me the $30 PayPal I paid him for on November 10, 2017, or refund my 9,750 naira.

On Saturday November 25, 2017, somebody contacted on Whatsapp and said he got my number on Nairaland and if I wanted to buy PayPal. With Truecaller, I was able to identify the person as the same Opeyemi100. At first I was like, "this guy has come again to scam me" so I blocked him. Later, I unblocked him and wanted to see where this would lead to. I asked for his NL username and he said he'd quote me. He did with the username, TobbazWire. He paid $80 into my PayPal account, and, well naturally, I told him I won't transfer the naira equivalent until he pays me the 9750 he's been owing me for the past 2 weeks and a day.

He has already attached some screenshots of Whatsapp chat. I'll attach some he left out.

To cut the issue short, I have told him and I reiterate it here, that I am going to refund his $80 in a week's time. If I decide to keep it, I'll pay him the naira equivalent of 26,400 (if he wants). I chose to do so because he held onto my 9750 naira for more than 2 week's with the attendant insults I received from him. Nothing is going to make me change my mind. If after 11.59 pm on Saturday December 2, 2017 he comes here and says I have not refunded his $80 or paid him 26,400, then that is when there would be an issue. For now, I see no issue.

Now we see the chat where opeyemi100 admitted to the fact that this trader got him. This means all opeyemi claims of his neibghor transacting with this trader and other bla bla bla are just lies. This is how far we Nigerians can go just to satisfy our need. I pity our generation

You said you got my number on NL right? Let's go there. But be warned: you'll just be exposing all your tricks" I said no let settle it Amicably I begged him to send the 50$ until in the night he said "No problem, I'll refund you as soon as you refund me" I said 80$ is with you but which refund again since you said you will deduct it Next thing he said was "OK then I'll refund you $50 but in a weeks time because that's how long you held mine." I begged him not to do like that the money is not mine so he said if I should refund him 9750(30$) then he will refund me I talk to my neighbor about how it goes and I told him to send the money to Mr Nnamokenna acct the one he gave me yesterday night so after I paid him he that we already agree that he refund the money but he didn't I sent many msg to him with my Neighbor phone and mi e together he did not reply until this morning he said "Good morning Stop worrying. I have told you you are going to receive your $80 in a week's time It took you 2 weeks and 1 day to refund my 9750" But that not what we agreed on since then he did not reply my msg or answer my calls I report to "FunLord And Mr Tabbaz" About it But Funlord understand it But Mr Tabbaz did not so he told me to write everything in full details to paste it on NL which I did now please Help to Beg Him to return the 80$ or send the 26,400(80$)

The money he claimed the client refused to pay since 2wks ago was suddenly paid yesterday . He needs to be less greedy and more honest. this business na "you chop I chop". No chop person own join your own. As for me, I will do no business with him again. No thanks for making me wait for 2 weeks to receive pay, something that could have been done and dusted long time ago. I thank everyone involved. Case closed!!!

So I met with Infinitikoncept’s Lawyer today and Willy30’s Dad.. I signed all necessary documents and the goods will be sent through courier to Ibadan on Monday.. The Lawyer explained a lot to me. And while I understand the fact that Mr Infinitikoncept was trying to protect his business. He did it in a way I won’t call customer friendly. Well, Everything has been resolved and I can say that Mr Infinitikoncept had no intention of converting the goods to his personal use.. He just needs to learn how to treat customers.. I’ll update this thread when I get the items. On Tuesday hopefully
