I don't trust this loyalty of David Mark to Nigeria. Most of our leaders think of what they can grab instead of sincere loyalty to lead. Don't be surprised David Mark's loyalty to one Nigeria might be because of his oil well allocation. I hate all these "play along and chop your own share" leaders!

David was only trying to divert our attention from reality to nonsense. This mad man called ghadafi just suggest a decision but a very unfortunate one because im a Nigerian, but ghadafi will not force us to seperate, he can only talk so far he has a freedom of speech. If Nigeria is a country with sound and competent leaders, they will find lasting soluton and later go back to reply ghadafi, even we can sue ghadafi to court of law, but now, we have abused him by calling him mad man, we can not do anything to this man again, but we need find soluton to our problems, that is the only way we can turn ghadafi to laughing stock,

I want someone with both!!!! A realist may forget that Ideas built the world and might be very pragmatic too. An idealist on the other hand might just keep getting us into trouble without looking how some theories might play out in the real world. An idealist can be a problem if he or she has a very brilliant idea but doesn't know how to play reality with in harmony with his or her idea. The real thing is both are needed to keep the other in check. That's why I'll vote for someone who has a vision and knows how to share it effectively.

Realism and Idealism is different forms or practise of governments and as different advantages and features, a leader can not be known as realist and at the same time an idealist. View it in this perspectives, OBJ's regime is totally different to YARADUA's, regime. Obasanjo is a realist while Yaradua is an idealist, although, he lacks the characteristics of idealism but we dont have other name to give him, lets fix him somewere because he claim to have the characteristics of an idealist which im yet to see in his regime till now on his sick bed.

Abraham lincoln of United State, father of democracy, is an idealist. In United State of America, they always produce to aspirant in their general election, one will be known as a realist, while the other will be an idealist.


Personally, with the present situation on ground, I will vote for a realist president. If you go deep into the history of United State, you will note that a realist regime help United State of America to gain world number one citizen and Idealist has caused them more evil than expected, Pentagon was attacked because they have an idealist as a president then. Many more stories like that.


I will vote for a realist president to rule our dear country called NAIJA

Personally I know that all our leaders are after their own selfish interest. The whole are watching and they refused to take right steps, instead busy exchanging words with mad man called ghadafi. I am scared, if USA troop come to stop this problem, we are in serious trouble because from history, USA never succeded in bring peace to any country that is in war. Go and check USA achievement so far. They only come for their own selfish interest, they are coming to protect our oil for us, so after we kill ourselves and destroy all our reasources, it will not affect USA,because they will do any thing possible to protect oil region.

Let assume that 2011 election will come to pass in Nigeria, reason why im doubting was the present condition of our dear country. A country whereby its citizen has no right to association, rigth to life and freedom of movement, tell me what is the essence of living a miserable life, no light, no water, no food, no sound health care centre, no money, no future, no hope, no security, no no no no, haha God safe your people.


Despite all these challenges, these people still struggle to survive. I was listening to one program on air, and I heard the Local government chairman advising his local people to send their kids to governments school, while all his kids was attending the most expensive private school. When are we going to stop deceiving ourselves?


Who will you vote for in next year election, a realist or idealist? Obasanjo is a realist, while Yaradua is an idealist. Compares to two regime and decide now who you will vote for, because we need a leader who will make bold decision and move this nation forwards.



Personally, I will vote for a REALIST president, we need to rebrand this nation, The whole world are watching US

To be sincere with ourselves, we need competent leaders to move this Nation forward. We need a realist not an idealist. We need someone who is ready to make bold decision. All this problem can be solve by our dear and esteem leaders if they want to solve it, but they kept quite and watching innocent people killed by some group called themselves religious fighters. If Mark lost any of his relation in this crisis or Goodluck lost his family member or any of our so called leaders lost their loved one in this crisis, they would have come up with lasting solution to this problem. But their friends and family is not involved that is why they are too busy exchanging words with mad man called ghadafi.


NATIONAL ASSEMBLY PLEASE STAND UP TO SAVE SOULS IN JOS , ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, LETS FACE REALITY

Do you know the consequencies of this thread, you know thousands of people visit nairaland everyday. Anything that is controversial, dont post it here, especially holy things such as from Bible and Quiran, these are the Holy books which take God's intervention to understand and translate properly.

Our dear Senate president declared on air that President ghadafi is mad man because Ghadafi suggest a solution to our problem. Nigerian leaders knows how to shift its citizens attention. They are using ghadafi's statement to distract us, while our brothers are too busy killin themselves and our leaders are yet to stop the fight. You can not eat and drink water at the same time, we have to solve our problem and come back to show president ghadafi that we can survive as one nation.

If we can stand neutral on this issue, Ghadafi is not wrong because this problem of christian and muslim crisis as caused more evil on our land than any others crisis. If seperation will be the lasting solution to this problem, let it be. We are tired of all these shameless and backwardness crisis.

Religious crisis has taken a lives of millions of Nigerians if we are to be sincere with ourselves. Instaed of Senate president to find lasting solution to our problem, He was too busy exchanging words with mad man called Ghadafi. If you see any sane man arguing with an insane man, people will assume that two of them had gone mad.


What we need now is solution to re-unite our dear country and leave in peace and unity. And if seperation will be the solution, God knows best.


Nigerians are even talking about seperaton, do you guys know the consequencies? If christian decide to seperate, have we forgotten that religious crisis is not the only crisis in Nigeria, how about community crisis, ethnic crisis, allocation crisis, resources crisis, power crisis and so on.


Personally I believe that seperation will not solve these problems. We need to think positively and work collectivelly with our leaders for peace to reign.

If USA invade Nigeria, I doubt if that will solve our problem.

Politically, I believe our leaders need to do something fast, USA are coming for their own selfish interest reasons, let stop fooling ourselves, IF WE CAN NOT SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS OURSELVES, NO EXTERNAL BODIES CAN SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS FOR US, WE KNOW THE ORIGIN OF THESE PROBLEMS,LETS SOLVE OUR PROBLEMS.

According to UN constitution, USA as a number one state in the world has right to do this just to maintain international peace and order, but we have to act fast, if USA troops solve this problem for us, we have useless and degrade our millitary readiness which means that our millitary men are not competent to solve this problem. our military men have done a great job to maintain peace and order in Africa, why this is happening to us?
