The fact they ran into some turbulence doesn't mean the pilot ever lost control of the aircraft for once and that's what they landed safely ....

Secondly, your mom wanted to give the twins mark on their faces, their father wasn't pleased with it and he came to pick his kids from your mom. That is also not a problem because he is their father, he has the right to. You mentioned it yourself that he has the finance to take care of them too.
