Career / Re: How I Got Belittled By My Boss... by Tafidah(m): 8:46am On Nov 13, 2015
SSpeter:
I felt breaking my boss head after he made some derogatory comments that got me angry and belittled.....

Yesterday a colleague and I went to take measurements of a bank for renovation works in one of the tertiary institution in ogun state. My colleague been the senior was given the full details and equipment needed. When we got to ogun state, he gave me the equipment (tape and camera) and asked me if I could do it that he has a babe in the school. I said yes and he gave me extra 3k I guess that was to shut me up.

After taking the measurement of the floor area in the banking hall and other adjoining spaces, I took pictures of the tiles and ceilings just to show my boss that they were in a very poor state. When I got back home I used my computer to scale the measurements and then redesigned the banking hall.

The main aim of the renovation was to increase the number of cubicles in the banking hall from 3 to 7. Today when I got to the office, I gave my boss the report and showed the the proposed design I made, he said "Great". During critic session I was surprised that the initial drawing was brought out and he was redoing the design. Well I no talk, I watched until he was done instructing the architect. Then I compared his proposed design with mine and I quickly pointed out to him that he has used up much space for circulation moreover our cubicle spatial analysis is till the same.

He called me Peter!!! ....what year were you born I told him, he said that was the year I started this company. If you have things in your head keep it. When you establish your firm, use it. Na so everybody dey look me like say I shit for body. See me wey for just keep quite....If it were to be somewhere else, Na orijin bottle I for arrange untop him head...............that is why I keep praying for a multinational firm....abeg make I quickly go check my shell application status....

Hahahaha!! How come we keep having similar experiences?

Actually I have experienced false awakening twice. The first one was when I was still around 8 or 9yrs I guess.

I was having a dream( I can't remember the content anymore), then I woke up in the same position I had slept. I got up from bed and wanted to pee, everything felt so so real. cheesy

Although I had a feeling something wasn't right but I couldn't tell. So I decided to go outside the house to pee. On getting outside I saw a gutter in the compound that wasn't there in reality but I didn't notice that slight change in detailing.

That was how I brought out John Thomas ooo grin

When I was done with the last drop. I woke up. You know the rest. cheesy

SOME PEOPLE HAVED OPINED THAT VOTING FOR BUHARI CONSTITUTES A MOVEMENT BACKWARDS. IF MOVING BACKWARDS MEANS A DOLLAR THAT WAS AT PAR WITH THE AMERICAN DOLLAR, A MORE STABLE ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY, A MORE EQUITABLE SOCIETY, A MORE DISCIPLINED SOCIETY WERE TRADITIONAL VALUES MEANT SOMETHING, A SAFER AND MORE SECURED NATION, AND A TIME WHEN CORRUPTION WAS LESS PERVASIVE. THEN MAY WE EVER CONTINUE MOVING BACKWARDS AS A WAY OF ULTIMATELY LEAPFROGGING BACK INTO THE FUTURE.

Politics / Re: I’m First To Create 5,400 Jobs In Nigeria’s History – Jonathan by Tafidah(m): 7:40pm On Feb 10, 2015
ducii:
President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday boasted that his administration is the first in Nigeria’s history to create 5,400 direct jobs for the nation’s unemployed youths.

He said the feat was achieved through the Federal Government’s Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria (YouWin).

Jonathan spoke during the presidential launch of Youth Entrepreneurship Strategy at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The programme was designed to encourage youth employment and self-reliance.

Jonathan also said 2,500 entrepreneurs empowered by his administration had also created an average of nine jobs each therefore bringing the total jobs created to 22,000.

The President said, “This will be the first government in the history of Nigeria that will directly create 5,400 jobs through the YouWin programmes.

“I am also proud to say that the 2,500 entrepreneurs have created an
average of nine jobs each making it a total of 22,000 jobs so far.

“Entrepreneurs are the engine room of the Nigeria’s economy as they are responsible for more than 60 percent of our $510bn Gross Domestic Product and the MSMEs are responsible for almost 98 percent of the new jobs created in our economy on an annual basis.

“The new jobs we are targeting will come from the SMEs.”

Jonathan expressed delight that the success story of his administration’s job creation efforts is impressive and beyond expectation.

The failure rate of the programme, he added, is less than 10 percent.

He said his administration at inception identified unemployment among youths as one of the greatest challenges to tackle.

This, he said, was the reason why his government took numerous steps to tackle the challenge.

He said his administration’s target was to create not less than two million jobs annually.

Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Boni Haruna, had earlier described the programme as private sector-driven initiative that seeks to empower youth.

The Chief Executive Officer of Anabel Group, Mr. Nicholas Okoye, said the present administration had empowered over seven million youths.

Okoye said the figure had surpassed the total of those empowered by previous administrations put together.

“Those who say you (Jonathan) have not done anything for the youth are simply not saying the truth,” he said
Describing all Nigerian problems are subset of employment crisis among the youth, Okoye commended the Federal Government for tackling the challenge headlong.

GMB has nothing to offer to Nigerians and to the south because of his fanatical nature a jihadist. He was there in the 80's but never did like Rawlings, he was selective and jailed and killed easterners and westerners while he allowed his brothers like Umaru Dikko to escape, Col. Jokolo, Adamu Ciroma etc were not touched even though facts on corruption was available against them. Ekwueme was jailed while Shagari the main man who should be charged for corrupt government was taking house arrest in a mansion in Ikoyi. My brother, GMB is not a saint and cannot do better. He is sectional and anti democratic.

So, in OBJ book and members of the foolish community sai Bhuari is a change? Just because they put a yoruba man as a VP to an old clueless guy who is the head of Tribalism and Religion bigotry in Nigeria?

OBJ in his usual self is being vindictive. Twice he became Head of state by accident and manipulated by the Northern born to rule Fulani masters.

I think one should deliver one self from slavery if you are being forced to be a slave.

singing sai Bhuari in church shows how they have turned the church into market place. What will Christ says?

The lack of insight is very clear here that the Northerners engineered crisis for them to claim back the presidency. Anyone who can't see this is not fit to have wisdom.

The main reason anyone should vote GEJ apart from his achievements is to nail the coffin of born to rule mentality finally once and for all in this country.
Bros I see say u no get better thing to talk, Abeg just keep quite. I believe ur brain needs updating.
