ferdimako:

If you click on the course reg. link and it shows you have not paid the compulsory fees, then you've to pay N15,500. While inside you check your courses and pay as needed...don't overpay and leave your cash hanging for NOUN.Is this your last semester?

I registered 14 courses for someone last time and it included exam reg too.She did 7 courses and will do the last 7 this semester without paying the compulsory N15,500.She'll just manually call for those 7 for TMAs when the time comes and sit for the exams.
what am saying is that someone doing masters and only failed one course and want to do the course this semester only for him to realise he cant access links to course registrtn. so how much he would pay?
and yes this is the last semester but is for project only in which he has done with.

ferdimako: Hello All, clearance for new students has started, course registration has started too. If you're for first semester, pay your compulsory fee (N15,500-ur course registration link doesn't get activated even if you have N20,000 in your wallet) if you're for your second semester NOUN takes the N2,500 alongside your selected courses' charges. All the best, people!
wht of school of pgd that are coming in to 3rd semester. how much they will pay?

simdam500: meaning Dont they study such courses and which science course can i study?
welcome br, we belong to the same deparment but... about the issue of engineering, do you aware that engineering courses require pratical that different to many other courses. noun is operating out of school education and the amount of money required to set up workshop is another thing. so! as civil engineering is a professional course that has no mate in the universe of others, i dont think noun can joke with it. later!

ATM2013: I CANT WAIT TO BE FULLY ADMITTED.......AUGUST ON MY MIND.
dont wait till you get admitted. once you have you admission letter and you proceed to screening immidiately after exams. you are in.....
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Takoro13(m): 8:21pm On Jul 29, 2013
simple but all. noun is not like other universities but the goal is thesame. you only need 5 credits in waec or neco or combine both. no jamb/postjamb. you obtain ever available form from participating banks. go to www.noun.edu.ng to register for instant admission. do screening at you intended study centre. they issue code that you use to get your matric number. no other fee than compulsory fee of #22500 at the begining and pay for course registeration as appear in your portal. and when it is time exam you pay for exam registration. cource registration fee is materials registration fee. and only registered courses appear for exam registration but you may decide not to register all. remember, you determine what you do................ am off till later

Keziehenry: Pls how does d students of NOUN recieve lectures,is it on weeknds, daily or how cos am intrested in goin for a pgd programme.
the programme is open and distant method of learning. i.e you collect your materials and go home till when you have exams. you only need to be updated with any development from school. it gives you chance of working while schooling. no lectures but you can call for tutor if you have any problem in any course. you should note that students do arrange classes on their own. you may join if you wish. your material is your lecturer.... ask more.

Thanks. Well appreciated
the graduation units for pgd is 30 but you can do more. just be careful. you dont need to register for it again
