Take it or leave it, accessing a bedroom directly from a family living is a design flaw. As a married man how comfortable can u be knowing that whatever you do or say can be heard from the next room? Ok, ur cousins, nieces and nephews, in-laws are they not part of ur family, abi they'll not be allowed into the family living? or imagine trying to take a nap and your kids are busy making noise, you go shout "keep quite" tire.

The trick is the expertise of the block makers. An inexperienced block maker can make 20 blocks and they will still be breaking. But a good block maker will make 40 and they will still be solid.

When I say pegging, I mean these iron rods pinned to the ground to show me where exactly the concrete blinding will get to before we stop. The Level Of ALL The Pegs are supposed to be the same.........

Yes pegging the foundation. We use pegs to determine the level of the blinding which the foundation will be on, then spread the pegs on all of the foundation and then get a uniform level on which the whole building can sit on. We do this before we start casting the foundation with concrete.

For 3 bedroom lintel, I used:

24 lengths of iron
20 dozen of angle iron
Binding wire
Sand- 3 loads
Gravel- 3 loads
Cement- 14bags
Workmanship- 25k


Planks & Carpenter workmanship- 75k.

Couldn't verify the workmanships tho cos I was in a hurry to get it done.

Introducing perforated blocks will not work out the magic. Perforated blocks are most times limited to exterior/external use for so many reasons(I won't go into details here).

Now to your first sketch:
Your sitting room failed the aeration and light test.
Why would your laundry share wall with kitchen, why do you have to go through the kitchen to the laundry?
Your kitchen do not have an emergency exit door, why?
The list of why seems endless.

Work on your designs. They are not functional.

I actually do not have enough time to peruse your floor plan(sketch) well. The second seems better and a bit functional.
But can you tell me how you intend to throw light into your laundry room(15).
I also don't know why you have to journey that far from the living room to the dinning. You can make a swap for the dinning and kitchen.

Actually so many things to be corrected and adjusted.
