ferdimako: That is d result verification fee...if portal didn't pick it...d final screening on that, alumni fee (N5,000) + project fee (N10K or N12K) will be checked @ d convocation ground and u pay cash if not no cert for u that day. The good thing is u can negotiate....I have only my fare back to Uyo...haha.
yes, it is result verification. i paid #10000 right from my first payment while degree students pay at graduation year. so no one can escape this alumni fee. what of gown fee?
EducationRe: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Takoro13(m): 11:05am On Jul 04, 2014
SONKOko: Thanks guys I will leave it @400level. And yes 5000 naira was deducted from my account for result verification fee.

One more thing, should I write 300level on the question paper when I sit for the 300level exams or I should just write the current level on my portal which is 400level? Thanks
when you are sitting for 300lv course write 300lv if 400lv write 400lv

SONKOko: Please guys I am a bit confuse

I'm supposed to be in 300level second semester but because I want to use only 2 more semesters, I changed from 300level to 400level to enable me register some 400level first semester courses.

Now have registered both 300level second semester courses and some 400level first semester Courses. My problem is that I don't know whether to change my level back to 300level or leave it at 400level
you dont need to change it again as it has no effect on your activities. do you notice you were charge #5000 as you change it, if not, maybe you dont have much there if yes changing it back to 300lv now and want to change it back to 400lv later would required another #5000. This money is the money we are to pay at the graduation year. am stand to be corrected. love for all, hatred for none. peace!

i dont want to agree with them that result will be out this month, july, bcs i saw many of them still busy collating/inserting scores and after this some steps follow before it can be released.

At kekekus. If you open your portal and you see those courses there then you re-register but if not go ahead and do your exams. You need to include atleast one elective at every semesters. Noun has no stipulated amount of electives but student's councellor close to me do advice as such. The last request is not clear please sythesis it so i can analys it. LOL! Ok the minimum require units is 120 and 90 for students enrol from 100 and 200 respectively.

At fadii. I did that and some other students with me here did it last semester without any problem. And my wife did it last semester. One of my friends in road safety and some other respective students.
If as at then you want to be sincere enough you would not have registered 18 courses that is why i told xyou shld advice them not to be too rush.

ferdimako: Can u go to ur study center students' counselor and expect or tell them u wanna do some second semester courses and they should be ticked for u for registration while u are in your first semester? If u can then it is legal...u can do it doesn't mean it is legal.
Less than 5 mins my wife came back from SC and she registered 2 second semesters courses with fisrt semestr. I do say what i know and practice

ferdimako: It's now illegal & NOUN frowns upon it.We did it during our time because d calendar wasn't in order as schedules were not adhered to.Now that things run well,no need but if u are hellbent....what d heck!
On the other hand,NOUN welcomes it when u pick up ur backlogs.
Is not illegal but you shld advice them for easy going and safety. And doing that may cause you some challenges when you are preparing for exams and is likely you face multiple papers in exam days

kellyben4u: ok thanks. but furthermore, i work for a bank and close very late, the exams must one travel to lagos or abj to write it? and do u think i can cope with my job?
Things are going in other way if am not mistaking. You dont need and you maynot reach SC again once you hava done with registration till exams period. What you only need is to get phn number of any body close to sku if there is any urgent infor. The program is design for working pple that may not be fortunate to attend classes.
