do i need to have money on my portal to register for the exam, this is d only course remaining for me to write and i don't want to pay semester compulsory fee of 23000
this may be the solution. what programme are you into and how many credits have passed. what i mean is that is you have the graduation required units dont look back but if not you will pay the compulsory fees, be it any amount.

tipdrips: I Hail D Chairmen In D House!
Similar question is probably been answered, but pls an answer would be appreciated.

I already bought D form & printd out D admission letter, but am low on cash now for D registration. On D academic calender I saw, it said registration will end on 25th of july. But some folks say D registration is ALWAYS ON.
Pls can I still do my registration by next month(August) or is it actually ending on 25th of July
I appreciate your response. Tanx
money this, money that. no one of us can precisely say it will end on that calenda date but the usual system is that they extend it and sometimes they open it day-in day-out which may not happen this time bcs noun don de put yanga now. you just try your best and see maybe you would meet up. peace!

joemaps: Pls, I need help asap. I have a BSc in Computer Science (2.2) and wanna put in for a masters (MSc or MBA) Business Admin in NOUN, I've already bought the pin from the bank for onward processing but a bit not clear about certain things because of rumors making the rounds, and so I wanna be sure:
1. Must I do a pgd first and if not which of MSc or MBA should I do considering ease of admission and marketability?
2. If I do a pgd, must it be in Business Admin or can I choose something like Public Admin and then Master in Business Admin later?
Thanks.
you have these questions at hand and you proceed to obtain pin without answers. please, go to noun official web and/or SC for reliable answers. peace!

How credible is the degree certificate? Do I get to go for nysc after getting my degree? If I apply now, when is the admission list going to be released? What are the criterias for getting admitted? Can I study a course like economics with complicated mathematics effectively at noun? Your replies are deeply appreciated, thanks.

is as credible as any first class convetional university in nigeria. nysc case still in court for appeal. noun are doing their best to get cleared on the issue but now i dont think noun students involve in nysc. it is an instant admission if you are qualified and you need five credits , no jamb. yes there is economics. for details see www.noun.edu.ng and www.nou.edu.ng

Kazrem: All new students are required to complete their registration exercise to enable them participate in the matriculation exercise. Copied from NOUN website. Does this mean I can't do matric if I don't complete my registration before the matric date. (I have paid the compulsory fee. Only remaining course registration and exam fee)
please leave matric one side, if you can not attend, and continue your activities. matric cant stop you.

That is d result verification fee...if portal didn't pick it...d final screening on that, alumni fee (N5,000) + project fee (N10K or N12K) will be checked @ d convocation ground and u pay cash if not no cert for u that day. The good thing is u can negotiate....I have only my fare back to Uyo...haha.
yes, it is result verification. i paid #10000 right from my first payment while degree students pay at graduation year. so no one can escape this alumni fee. what of gown fee?

SONKOko:

Thanks guys I will leave it @400level. And yes 5000 naira was deducted from my account for result verification fee.

One more thing, should I write 300level on the question paper when I sit for the 300level exams or I should just write the current level on my portal which is 400level? Thanks
when you are sitting for 300lv course write 300lv if 400lv write 400lv

SONKOko: Please guys I am a bit confuse

I'm supposed to be in 300level second semester but because I want to use only 2 more semesters, I changed from 300level to 400level to enable me register some 400level first semester courses.

Now have registered both 300level second semester courses and some 400level first semester Courses. My problem is that I don't know whether to change my level back to 300level or leave it at 400level
you dont need to change it again as it has no effect on your activities. do you notice you were charge #5000 as you change it, if not, maybe you dont have much there if yes changing it back to 300lv now and want to change it back to 400lv later would required another #5000. This money is the money we are to pay at the graduation year. am stand to be corrected. love for all, hatred for none. peace!
