I dont think its a scam, though i dont think its really a good job post either (Brand Ambassador). I applied there (administrative post) in January ds year but didnt get any response from them until few weeks ago wen dey started bombarding me with calls, SMS and mails, inviting me for d training at their Oshodi office, wch i was unable to honour. Even yesterday again, I stil got a call from them, and to clear my doubt, I asked for d role and was told Brañd Ambassador. You may Google "brand ambassador" to know wat its all about. However, you may go for d training if you are not travling frm anoda state, afterall, no knowledge is totally a waste...except dat of d GNLD guys anyway.

Do you want to bet on that?
many pple kip telling unemployed graduates to start small. You will hear something like..forget white collar job and start a business of ur own, start somwia, start small...etc.
Now, if 30k sounds too small to "start small" (as pple normally call it), I wonder where and how an unemployed graduates want to start small. Remember, unemployment get levels o and being unemployed get grade. Even som unemployed grad stil av more money in their bank account than someone working. Background matters alot at times. Som unemployed guys cant even boast of wat to eat in d next day

I lost my job since 2011. since then have been searching, before invested in a business that didn't last a year, that took me back to square one. Am really Appealing to nairalander to help a brother, i dont care what kind of a job, but as long it pays the rent and bills.

Don;t mind my typoo. writing from a mobile.

I don;t know if it is right post my CV here. if needed i can send it.
Well, I understand ur situation very well. When i say very well, i mean it but u may not know to wat extent i understand ur situation. However, d aspect of "committing suicide", apart from d fact dat its not d solution, sounds too childish and immature, especially in a platform like ds. Nevertheless, I will stil av to giv u same advise people are offering you here. Keep on with d hustle, get something little doing for sustenance, and kip pressing oda better things and i believ all will b well with time. Its a good move u shout for help here because who knows, som1 might just b able to help you out with a menial job to manage, so i won't castigate dat. I just need to point out to you to restructure dat ur CV a bit, at least arrange those info dat has to do with "dates" in latest first i.e. start listing from most recent. Conclusively, ensure and be convinced dat u've try ur best then leave the rest to God.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Create Your Own Job: Don't Wait For Anyone To Come And Give You A Job. by talk2yommex2000(m): 8:43am On May 15, 2015
Okutek:
Your Situation Will Never Change Without Your Taking A Bold And Fearless Action.

Have you been unemployed or jobless for many months or even years? Are you and your family suffering and experiencing devastating financial hardship because of lack of money and poverty? Are you a university graduate but still can't find a job? Are you angry, stressed out, depressed, frustrated, and have become restless and desperate because of this terrible situation? Are you sick and tired of hearing promises from politicians and one administration after another, that they will bring change, but the situation remains the same and even worse? Are you sick and tired to discover that the politicians are lining their pockets with all the money, while you and your family continue to suffer in misery, frustration, and desperation?

So what can you do to change your situation, since it appears that the government can't bring about any change and help will not come fast enough for you and your family? There are some things you can do to help your situation, but it will require boldness, fearlessness, and action for it to work. You will have to confront the following fears inside you about the unknown, get these fears and concerns out of your way, then move forward to apply the suggestions which will be provided next. The following are the fears you must face or confront first:

1. I am afraid I will fail or it will not work.
2. I am very poor and I don't have any money to start anything.
3. I am an illiterate or I am not educated enough to do it.
4. I am too highly educated to do it. This below my educational level or standards.
5. I am too old to do this.
6. I am too young to do this.
7. I am a woman, and I can't do this.
8. I don't know anybody who will help or support me to get started.
9. I am afraid of what people who know me will say about me, if they know I am starting this.
10. I am too afraid to do anything where I don't have a guarantee that I will succeed.
11. I am afraid of taking any kind of risk because I only like to do sure things will not fail.
12. I am not smart enough to do this.
13. I cannot do this because it will require investing much of my time.
14. I will continue to wait for another 5-to-10 years until the government create more jobs and bring change.
15. I am too comfortable now with my current life routine, so I don't feel like doing this.
16. I will think about it some more and decide what to do.

Ladies and gentlemen, now that you have had a few moments to face, deal with and review some of the possible fears and doubts that will be creeping into your mind, the good news is that, if you can face, confront, and deal with your fears and doubts about yourself, similar to or same as the examples stated above, you have would have successfully overcome 90 percent of your obstacles which will set you on the path of extraordinary success in pursuing the suggestions that is about to be recommended to you next. This is so important because "You Are What You Think."

The next critical question is: What Can You do better than anybody else in the world? Let's take a look at some examples for a moment:

A. Do you have the gift of selling things?
B. Are you a handy man, who enjoy fixing things for other people?
C. Can you cut hair or do hair for both men and women?
D. Can you wash a car?
E. Can You make people laugh?
D. Do you know how to cook?
F. Do you have the gift or talent of singing?
G. Can you cut grass or maintain a lawn?
H. Do you have the talent or gift of telling folk stories to both adults and children?
I. Do you have the skills, talent and abilities as a teacher?
J. Do you have the gift of writing a book?
K. Do you have the gift and skills for drama or acting?
L. Do you possess the gift, skills, and talent as a speaker?
M. Do you have typing or secretarial skills?
N. Do you enjoy cleaning up and keeping things organized?
O. Are someone that people can trust to watch over their property while they are at work?
P. Are you a gifted or talented artist, who can draw a variety of images that will capture people's interest?
Q. Do you have the skills and or qualifications as a mechanic, who can fix cars and other machines?

If you answered yes, to the above questions and you are able to do hundreds of other things that are not listed above, then, you have no reason and no excuse to continue to suffer financial hardship because you can't find a job. The great news for you, is that provided you are interested in changing your situation, we will show you how to create your own job, based on your specific talent, skill, gifts, and abilities. You dy make me laff, number of local govt sha? okay, take for example a state with 10 local govts but 800 candidates (for d interview), and anoda state with 18 local govts but 500 candidates (for d interview). Some states may have more LGs but remember dat d number of candidates shortlisted for interview in each state wasnt d same. Also, dnt b surprise dat at d end of it all, even a state with lower LGs may have less slots dan som with more LGs depending on the number of pple frm dat state already working with the NIS.

there were some ppl granted interview amnesty. Like one heavily pregnant lady that was in short given an automatic slot 4 interview. Are pregnant ppl given chance to participate? Ok,i think those that will eventually shortlist are this ppl from the panel in each state. I beg dem get theis candidates already joor
Well na naija we dy and ds is not d first time e dy happen. The truth is they cannot absorb evry1 dat applied or came for d interview. However, am damn sure dat there are still few pple dat wil b fortunate to get d job without having or using any Godfather, just as there are some dat will not get d job despite d assurance given to dem by their godfather. Whichever way it turns out to be, its not d end of life. Life goes on.

I advice you to screenshot your own states and keep because once the interview is over they will delete every thing and you will not be able to question them. but the screenshot will remain.

check d list on d NIS website. Instead of typing name to search d list, type a state e.g. Lagos. You wil see all those shortlisted for Lagos as their state of origin. Check d total number of page they occupied, u will get to know. u may need to count d total on d last page. Other pages are 100 names per page.
