ismart: I dey shake for body ooo, e b like say make I cry. Na men put this kind women for house o. OMG!
See the kind of response from supposed women that will become MIL.
This is why I am very picky when it comes to women. Your body language and the kind of words that comes out of your mouth are my lab test.
You and freecocoa no dey ever disappoint! May God bless your home and your mothers.
Oh God! Our society is finished oooooooo Guy relax. There are some things you need to understand as a man. First, the way, tone and manner by which you present the case in the first place (i.e. ur original post) is sentimental. You have painted yourself and the family bad right from the beginning of your post. For you to have been mentioning things your cousin did for his wife-to-be (like the phone he bought for her, taking her to SA, getting her a car etc) sounds childish on your part. I must confess, the part of your post which says you've sent many ladies out of your life doesn't sound so good as well, especially taking cognizance of the fact that you are planning to send this lady out of your cousin's life too, despite having a child for him already. Mind you, I am not supporting the said lady in any way, as (in my own opinion) nothing can justify why she can't be nice to her husband's family. She needs to be corrected on that. However, as a man you are, especially as an outsider when considering the union of your cousin and his wife (because it's now their family issue), you don't have to meddle so much in the affair. Truth be told, you know too much already which is not suppose to be. That the lady is bad, not a house material and the decision to leave is neither your responsibility nor your aunt's. Let the husband decides that. I understand what you are pointing out here, but you need to know your boundary. Also, remember that the lady is from another family bring up. Mind you, what makes sense and acceptable in your family might not really be issue of relevance in other families even if both are same tribe. Just imagine if situations and conditions warrants that the lady in question travel out of the country, or if she works with the government in another state, will the family ask her to relocate or resign from her job to take care of your aunt? At least other means will be employed to ensure that your aunt gets what you wanted for her. I am not saying your sister in law shouldn't be corrected but you shouldn't have a hand in destroying the home of your cousin. There is no human being that is perfect, not even you or myself. What if you succeed in chasing this present one out and your cousin marry another lady taking care of the family but ruining your cousin in some other way. Remember that the marriage is theirs and not yours. Conclusively, please leave the family (husband and wife) alone, and let them decide what's good for them. Wait till her husband starts complaining about her attitudes before you say she's not a house material. Your cousin might be so pleased with her for some reasons best known to him. Thank you so much as you heed my word. Remain blessed. |

Liadi2: Morning, I want to start submitting my CV today in some schools around my Ppa, I don't know d name and address of all this schools, so do I need to attach an application letter to my CV because I don't know dere name and more so pls wic type of envelope can I use to package my CV for submission. Am Corp member am finishing service next month pls ur advice re is needed and pls if dere is any mistakes in my CV I upload pls signify room, thanks waiting for reply.. Good morning. I think it's better you write and attach an application letter to each of the CV you'll be submitting. By the time you get close to each school, where the name and address of the school is visible, you can insert it on the letter as appropriate. Regarding the type of envelope to package the documents, I think an envelope of the size of the A4 paper is okay, so that you won't need to fold the documents. However, I will suggest you go around with a bag (like laptop bag) since you might need to reach a number of schools, and I think it's not wise enough for each school you reach to observe that you are with almost 7 to 10 envelopes (or as the case may be) with. It may not really affect whether you'll be invited or not, but I just don't think it's okay. So, find a means of keeping other envelopes away at each location. Remember to insert the school name and address on each application letter before you submit. If possible, try not to drop your documents at the gate with the gateman or security. Ask for the Admin Office, Secretary Office, The Principal's Office or as the case may be DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF THE SCHOOL. If questioned at the gate of a big school for instance, you can just say you want to make enquiry about requirements for enrolling a child in the school. This should get you access and pass through a stubborn gateman in 'big schools'. This is just the few things I can tell you based on my personal opinion. Let the bigger bosses here help you with tips based on experience. FYA Goldendr stenon sunnypar upload111 artiscallyart manie morrygreat larry37 avicky laurelip MacJC |

ravensckar: It all started on this great forum sometime around March(if my memory hasn't failed me), I advertised the position of a physics home tutor around isolo area. A lotta people applied, but there was this guy (name's withheld) who applied as well. On the basis of first come first serve, I gave the job to another person (but not him).
Afterwards, we became friends. With the promise that whenever another vacancy forth comes, I'll inform him. As promised, I did introduce him to other job vacancies I've been seeing @ that particular time. Even, I directed him to some of the home tutoring agencies where I previously work for placement. He kept telling me that he was destined for bigger things...
Unknown to me, he was carefully designing a plan on how to reap me of my hard-earned money. Sometimes, he comes to me to borrow tokens like 3K,4K, etc in the name using it as transport to look for job. Some, he returned, others, I leave for him.
Then, around the beginning of June, I drew his attention to the vacant post of a principal in festac area. I advised him to apply, since he told me he has worked as a principal before. Hence, he is qualified for the job. To cut the long story short, some weeks later, he told me he had been shortlisted. Later, he told me he had been appointed. See happiness now! From unemployment level to principal post.
A few days afterwards, I received a distress call from him, that his appointment may be cancelled if he doesn't fulfill some obligations. i.e. The school's dress code costs a total of #37500, He's also expected to collect one 'Notary public affidavit' abi na form self from High court. To cut the long story short, he requested (like someone whose life depended on it) that I borrow him the sum of #50000 which I did. Afterwards, the real scam of another #52500 was perpetually set in motion. That's a story for another day anyways.
In summary, I parted with over a 100,000 within the space of two weeks. The whole process of how it happened is a long story to write. But the summary is what I've typed up there.
The moment I realised I was being scammed, the Sherlock_Holmes part of me was activated. I tracked him to the level he didn't expect. As I type this, his lawyer and my Navy officers have perfected an arrangement of how he'll refund my money. The first installment of 20K has been paid, the rest will follow at the agreed time.
Now, to have come here to say all that 'Laureate gibberish' was as a reaction to my previous post of indirectly warning him here. Shey I told you people then that he's also a forumite but I don't know his monicker (Just like every other colleague of mine in my present place of work). And just as Isaac Newton has stated 'To every action, there's always an equal an opposite reaction'. Unfortunately, he thought I was going to defame him, and so he took the first initiative. But funny enough, his own way of defamation is petty, intangible, and wouldn't hold water for lack of evidence.
For every single thing I've typed, I have both audio evidence and other documents to validate my claims. The moral of my story are as follows; 1- Whenever we meet people online, we should be careful of our relationship with them. Cos who many people claim they are online ain't what they really are. 2- Whenever we're doing financial transactions with people (be it friends or relatives) we should endeavour to keep evidences. These, we can put into good use should things go sour. 3- As much as I have a good heart, I've learnt that 'Expecting people not to do bad to you because you don't do bad to others is as foolish as thinking a lion shouldn't eat you because you don't eat lion'. 4- A reputation is what will speak of somebody even when the person is not there. See how those who know me have already defended me even before I open my mouth to defend myself.
Note, my background check even revealed what the Principal of Laureates College said behind my back. In his own words, he told a parent who protested my sack that 'Mr Ajibola is my friend, he's one of the best teachers I've ever had, but things just turned out the way it turned....' So, how can the same management be behind this campaign of calumny? What point do they stand to prove? Even I have moved on....
P.S; Mods, please don't hide this post of mine so that everyone can know the truth. I may not be chanced to type something as lengthy as this again. And to that scammer, I've nothing personal against you, I need just my money... O yà shakiti bobo...(dancing) |

In my last place of work, we do fasting every first Monday of the month nd break by 12.
During prayer time, madam will be in her office doing nothing. The day I saw her was the day I stopped fasting. Just imagine! So, to fast now na by force abi? On top wetin? Even if the fasting is just for 30minutes, I see no reason why it should be imposed on me all because I'm working for you. To me, it's ridiculous. Anyway, the issue of fasting is still better than the vigil, after all, it's till 12pm. If I don't intend to fast, I would have loaded my "belle" with strong eba and egusi soup that morning right from my home, then join other staffs in the "fasting" when I get to work. Lobatan! Funpeter: Well lets hope that's not the reason they will not employ him.... And lesson learnt always give the necessary answer. Are you a Christian? Is different from which denomination do you attend? wish you all the very best bro and did you discuss the salary? Exactly what I have in mind. Are you a Christian should have been simply answered with, "Yes, I am a Christian" till it is absolutely necessary to state further. As a matter of fact, some issues (like religion, politics, your state or town, and other closely related issues) are not really good or relevant things to be discussed in an interview, especially on the part of the interviewee EXCEPT you are sure that it's gonna work in your favour. If not, why giving unnecessary details about it. I could remember some years back when I was asked in an interview, "Are you a Christian?". I simply answered, "Yes". The man went further and asked, "Are you a Christian to the CORE?" I just smiled and replied him that I don't know what level of Christianity or denomination his "...to the core" means, and that he should just go ahead and tell me what my faith (religion) or it's deepness has to do with the job role I'm being interviewed for. It's then he smiled and said it's mandatory for every staff of the school to attend a vigil in the school on every last Friday of the month, the penultimate Friday to vacation, as well as the last Friday to any resumption date after holidays. For few seconds, I remained mute because I don't even know what to say. I just looked right into his eyes and said to him, "Sir, I am a Christian to the core but I refuse to be part of that mandatory vigil meant for all the staffs simply because it is mandatory and not voluntary. Even a place of worship won't make vigil compulsory to it's congregation, let alone a place of work. Although, if the mandatory worship is to take place during the day time, I might give it a consideration, but at nights, it's a NO sir." After this response of mine, he said it has been the practise in the school all along and that it is always reveal to the applicants before being finally employed, and that without accepting that condition, it's not possible to work there. Immediately he said this, I just stretch my hand for handshake and said, "I guess we've come to the end of the interview, thank you for your time." |

GoldenDr: This is to inform thread member about the outburst by talk2yommex2000's friend about Manie's school.
We have painstakingly investigated the matter because We heard from talk2yommex2000 via mail and Maine via this thread and here is "our" findings:
1. Both parties gave a detailed description about what really transpired, which tallied; 2. Based on investigation, the principal colonised everything in the school, painted the former Chairman (Baba) in bad light; 3. There was some illegality going on which Baba knew nothing about; 4. He turned the school into a mini empire of some sort, conspired, instigated teachers' against themselves and Baba; 5. Teacher that taught from 2012 down would not say good things about the school as a result of the Principal ineptitude, instigation, greed and diabolical means which I don't want to believe he(principal) used such means; 6. As a result of financial misappropriation by the Principal, the school was plunged into debt which the new Chairman has cleared; 7. Nobody would fold their arm and see someone or anybody throw heart hurting jabbs at their father and sit down and do nothing.
In the view of the above findings and the verdict from the Senate and WhatsApp Teachers' Association (WAT), Manie a former Vice Principal of the "family" with 8yrs, a business man, financial analyst and an investment guru is hereby discharged of all accusations level against him and his school.
Signed WAT. That's great. I'm happy that you guys really responded to the mail, and investigate the issues as promised. Kudos to you guys and well done. One Love |
