Presently, Frank = x years old while John is (x + 15) years old

In five years time,
Frank will be (x + 5) years old, while John will be (x + 20)

Still, in five years time, John will be twice the age of Frank i.e. John will be 2(x + 5) = 2x + 10

therefore, 2x + 10 = x + 20
2x - x = 20 - 10
x = 10
Then, Frank is 10 years old while John is 25 years old.

In four years time, Frank will be (10 + 4) years old = 14

That's really good and inspiring, but just thank God for making you so lucky. Some dude out there are not as lucky as you are, in terms of som1 who can raise capital for them. Guy, a biz of almost 200k capital, a vehicle to aid d sales, a partner to assist in d sales and d payment of his first salary by som1 else....ds is not starting small, you started big. I know of a frustrated graduate who has bn unable to start a business of Recharge Card sales just because he cant raise 10k (at once) on his own, except if som1 else will b feeding him for d next two months. He graduated in 2011.
So, all in all, your story is good, inspiring and encouraging but just know that you are such a lucky guy, and take note, as far as I am concern, you started BIG! 200K all at once? You are indeed lucky with your family background. Some graduates neva finish paying part of d money dey borrow to sponsor their education since dy graduated. May God help us all sha

Niger Insurance Plc is a real coy, though I dnt knw abt their pay. The only problem is that, you know all these Insurance companies and their kind of policy on marketing job. The funniest thing is the way they package n rebrand the job post to seem big in nature...Marketing Executive. Try them out anyway because its a genuine coy.

As for dat second one, my broda, ITS A NO GO area pls. Dnt bother to waste anything on dat trash because it is all these Corporate Drug Hawkers popularly known as GNLD.

I will love it so much if a law that will enforce these so called private schools in Nigeria to obey minimum wage is enacted.Many of these school owners are greedy and self centered.Many of them can afford to pay their teachers reasonable amounts but prefer to pump the money realised into establishing another schools or other businesses at the expense of their employees' welfares.Many of them do the way they like since there is no law checkmating their activities.

you av a point bro, but wat do you say of some state (governors) in Nigeria who claimed there is no sufficient resources/allocation to implement the 18k minimum wage? Just 18k, the same amount of money which is not enough for their (naija governors and senators) concubines or girlfriends to do shopping in a day.

Yea, some are in worse situation. But there are still menial jobs that pays daily. I did that to raise money to set up my business. It was one of the most humiliating job I've ever done, but I did it. When you're broke and desperate, humiliation is the last you'll ever think of. At the end, what really matters is, how well, not how far.

Most people think that for you to be self-employed, you must have hundreds of thousands or millions before you can start.
But that's not true. You can start from somewhere, no matter how little.
I keep saying this, cos I passed thru it and survived, even when no one thought I couldn't. I'd rather be a labourer or driver than collect just 6k in a month.

We all know the economy is bad. These days, most companies won't employ unless on contract basis. The best thing now is to acquire a skill and leave the peanut paying employers.

Unemployment get level sis. U shld understand dat if a graduate could take up a job of 6k monthly to survive, you ought to understand dat no where on earth such a person can get cash to acquire any skill or start any small biz. Feeding itaelf might b a problem for d person. A person dat can boast of 10k monthly on his own will in no way take up such job, so where on earth does "start something small" (as pple normally call it) or "acquire skill" hold for such person. After all, ds skills n biz are not free in its totality.

There is a school located on the the mainland in Lagos, #3500 for graduate, #2000 for non-teaching staff.

That's it. Some people are really unaware of the REAL situation of things in this country. Believe me, tell this to some set of people and they will tell you it's not possible. A friend was like..."Haba! 20k in the whole month?" when told about someone's experience about job. She said it's a lie and it's not possible. "Nigeria is not that bad", she added.

Then I asked her, "what is the minimum wage set/approved by the Federal Government?"

Bro, i no go mention any school name here but i know of a school (though not a secondary but nur/pry sch) not paying up to 6k in a month, especially for newly employed teachers. Nigeria....Good People, Great Nation.
