Exactly my point. I am apolitical as I have no interest in politics, political parties or any of these politicians, but I observe that some people have double stands about this whole issue. I am not a fan of GEJ, but I observe that some people that are blaming all the activities of BokoHaram on the Nigeria government then, now have a different opinion about it. It is now they understands that our government and NA needs our prayer.

I think we should employ the same method in addressing this issue under any government irrespective of the political party or person, until we achieve the BEST result. How people suddenly change their opinion about the same issue never cease to amaze me.

RIP to the dead anyway, and may peace reign in the land to make it conducive for all. I can't imagine the situation of the families of the victim affected by the bombing yesterday. Few days ago, those people are probably happy together celebrating Nigeria independence in their poor happy home. God Bless Nigeria.

Verily verily I say unto thee, no network does this better than MTN. If you are not on the MTN network, you can't really know how bad the situation is. Recently, they have moved from sms to calls. They frustrate the hell out of you whenever you are expecting a bank credit alert, an important text messages, or when you are only managing your last bar of battery. There is no limitation to what MTN can send a text to about. Even if you just think of something in your mind, MTN will send a text to that effect. e.g. "If you are hungry, send HUN to 34200 to receive tips on what you can eat." The worst part is, call their Customer Care to that effect and they will increase the tempo and number of the sms/calls you receive daily.

It's truly...MTN, Everywhere You Go

you have to understand the difference between a ploy and a scam. not all ploys are scams.
The average Nigerian is very often averse to an 'oppourtunity' flyer but will gladly accept flyers titled with 'VACANCY' because that is a veritable way to get their attention. Not a few mindsets have been changed after attending these Vacancy invitations to believe that it is easy to be their own boss.

Yea, u might be right to some extent but the issue is, why must people be deceived to attend the so-called "opportunity" disguising it as "vacancy"? I think these Health Alliance guys should stop the deception game. It's better they let the people they are inviting know what they are coming for right from onset, instead of receiving them with another thing. If they are sincere in their invite, the candidate can make a decision which s/he considers to be okay. The fact that they disguise the so-called "opportunity" as "vacancy" means its a scam because it portrays that there is more to it than just making them understand it's easy to be their own boss. It simply means they want to extort them, and that I call scam.

Concerning this issue (though av neva been to that religion section before), I think the best thing is to employ the same method you used earlier on when creating Islam for the Muslims. Just go ahead and do same for the Christians too. In fact, I'll suggest you create one for "others" too. Then allow anyone access to GENERAL part of the section where the mods may moderate as deem fit. With this, I believe the mods will have less work to do and thereby enhance effectiveness and makes them more efficient. You may give this a test-run this for a period of time, and I believe it's gonna work. That's my opinion bro.

Though I wouldn't pray or hope my daughter or sister marry at such age because it's simply not our (family/tribe) thing, but in the case of the emir, I think it's okay for him. After all his religion permits it, and same with his culture. Moreover, neither the girl is complaining, nor her relatives.

My conclusion is that the ban against soliciting for investments on Nairaland is acceptable to most people, so we will go ahead with just that.

There is no such thing as a pay meant for "graduates" in the private sector. It is based purely on the organization's salary structure and your ability to negotiate. thats why u can see two workers on the same level but with totally different pay.

I am aware there is no particular pay meant for "graduates" in the private sector, what I am saying is that why should the private schools paying graduates between 18k to 20k always refer to the government minimum wage as if that is what is obtainable (by graduates) even at government jobs. They usually make is seem as if a government job too cannot earn a graduate more than the Minimum Wage. That was my point, and not saying there is a particular pay meant for graduates in any private sector.

Thats the minimum wage in the country, they've not done anything wrong. Its an offer, which u can either accept or reject. Blame the government who set such a meagre and paltry sum as minimum wage.

The minimum wage thing, is it applicable (in a government job) to graduates i.e. HND and B.Sc. or those with lower certificates. Private schools shouldn't be hiding under the guise of "minimum wage" set by Nigeria government to pay "graduates". I think MINIMUM WAGE is not meant for graduates.
