If I’ve been denied visa to the USA or any country before
Work history
If I’ll be arriving Canada by air
Personal history from the age of 18 till date
Scanned copies of my biodata and visa and that was all.
Next day after thinking this thing was too good to be this true and I had just obtained copies of banks statements for myself and hubz the same day, I decided to do a webform (I think this is either oversabi or unbelief of the ease) I added my bank statements, husbands bank’s statements and biodata, sponsorship letter from husband, covid19 vaccination card showing I was recently fully vaccinated, documentation pertaining to my main aim of wanting to visit Canada as a tourist and that was all.
24 hours after on the 22nd of October I got Biometrics request, I went for the biometrics on the 25th(Monday) this was updated immediately on the account. That’s the last update I’ve gotten so far, I’m not in a hurry to visit Canada at least not this year till next year February most likely so they can take their time but at least not all the time in the world.
I’ll share my timeline when I get ppr to give regular tourists without family in scandal an insight as to what timeframe obtains at the moment.
The plan for me too is to visit Canada for a few days during my next usa trip to at least survey where I want to relocate to and also attend what I’m going for.

The link is asking for an invite code and applying from the GC key doesn't give the option to declare Canada and US visas recently obtained. I'm gunning for CAN +

When you begin filling the form and depending on the options you choose the form will streamline itself , in my case I’m a tourist without invitation from anyone.
I submitted international passport biodata
gave details of my past usa visas I have access to and are within past ten years —- required documentation

I have an EE profile too.
Later I submitted banks statement and some docs relating to my purpose of travel that I stated, covid vaccine card. (Via webform) these docs weren’t required or listed , I just felt I should submit them later via webform.

Hi , no I’ve not gotten PPR yet and yes I applied via the new portal , neither do I have direct in Canada so I don’t qualify for any fast track except for Canplus due to my USA visa, the form was pretty short and straightforward and too good to be true because I wasn’t asked navy questions I see on here. I applied as a regular tourist on the 21st October and had biometrics done on the 25th.
Although I send additional docs via web form a few days post submission because I’ve never filled an application that straight forward before , I also added my covid vaccination card to the docs I sent via webform.

I have been following all your threads, and it has been very inspiring. To add to what Mamaroon's response. Learning French is all about dedication and commitment in which without these, you should not venture. I just started learning last month immediately after the lockdown started. I tried using several resources likes Duolingo, Busuu, LearnfrenchwithAlexa,frenchpod101, youtube and collins french conservation, a private tutor and a lot of self-study. I can tell that today, I can 80% fluently read and understand French articles, I can have conversations in French with minor mistakes here and there, I still search for words but that will get easier with time, I am 80% comfortable with the mighty French conjugation and I can understand a bit of what is being talked about on RFI. In summary, there is no easy way of learning French. The only magic is dedication and commitment. if you have these two, you will eat and breathe French every day, which will lead to learning the language faster, and learning French in 7 months is very possible.

I think several options have been given you already, maybe you are new here. We don't talk the way you talk. Your last remark is very appalling. You could have asked your questions without calling someone's name. There are many options of school to learn. Everyone to its taste. There are many here looking surprised at your remark. You may have a really really long journey to go in this French, if your first impression is like this.

I've noticed a couple of off-thread/offline language learning assistance strategies. That's very commendable and I challenge everyone to take advantage of this as much as possible. However, in a bid to keep our thread alive, I also encourage us to bring the results of whatever we learned outside to this place so we can get more insight, share knowledge and have fun while at it. Essays, questions on grammar and vocabulary, etc. can be shared here for contributions (it's been long I saw an essay here).

A couple of people contacted me and asked if they could send thier essays to me for review, I agreed but I didn't get any eventually.

Shout out to everyone keeping the thread alive, Mamaroon, Fabguen, etc. You guys are helplessly passionate and we're here for it!

@Talksub, so sorry for your refusal, In my opinion these days, they prefer a relation (with same surname) inviting you than friends, so if you have a relation, you can use the person.

Secondly, what was your arrangement for accomodation ? this is part of your "purpose of visit", you need to book accomodation covering your stay there if you didn't but don't make payments, even though the person you plan to visit will accomodate you, reason being maybe the tenancy agreement of your friend doesn't permit squatting.

Also factor the accomodation fee in your total amount for travel.

Lastly, visit or tourism as a purpose during winter doesn't look very convincing to be honest, because most people living there don't go out due to extreme weather conditions except when neccessary, and therefore tourist attractions drop this period ,So you may need more than tourism purpose for visiting.
Also people come back home this period cos of the weather and Xmas holidays, not usually the other way around, VO's know this...

The minimum GPA I have seen so far is 2.5 for masters degree.
I feel you should mail schools individually to inquire on your chances based on your lengthy years of experience. Your best option would have been having a post graduate degree in Nigeria.

I can't remember the books I used, I think I was so desperate for a high score and I used all the textbooks B.Y Mafit sent to me when I registered with them.
Magoosh is also very important. Visa preparations have erased my GRE memories
I don't have any idea about your prospective program or schools that offer full funding for it, I am so sorry.
Had it been you congratulated me, I would have told you my GRE score and added TOEFL as jara, well it is too late now
