Politics / Re: Policeman Beaten To Death For Killing A Trader In Lagos by tallceejay(m): 12:37pm On Aug 07, 2013
thoth: I commend the masses for killing the useless bastard, the carefully crafted article first noted all the complaints about the traders and their venue of trade but little did the write try to inform us in what manner the policeman tried to disperse the traders that resulted in him TRYING TO PROTECT HIMSELF AND STARTED SHOOTING.
Nigerians are taken for fools, many are actually fools, but until the masses start lynching those in government, those men and women that betrayed their trust and bestowed poverty on them, until that time it is the ordinary servant policemen that do their dirty jobs that will bear the blunt.

It is really sad that it has to be so, when the big thieve in some office send the little thief(policeman) to go and do his dirty biddings and the little thieve with no choice has to die for the wrongs of the big thief.
Those in the position of the little thief has to join the masses in revolution for their own life.

Wow! you call this revolution? What big thief in what office ?? Does it make it justifyable to murder a police man?? I'm not justifying d policeman but a retaliation of dat order ?? Stones and sticks? For me its killing a fly with with a sledge hammer!

If you want a revolution, conduct it like human beings with a charitable course, den u'll win the hearts of many!

http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2013/04/13/obamas-400000-and-the-jumbo-pay-for-nigerias-legislators/

So true a figure. Why won't they kill to get there ?? D salary is like a bait, most people will kill for ....even this figure is on paper and just a drop in d ocean compared to what they make on d side ! No wonder some communities attach senators n rep member whenever they return to their consitituencies.

We like to copy the western world and top european countries in other things , but They should take a queue from a country like holland...where public servants are almost volunteers.

Our leaders should be volunteers, den we pay them stipends/sitting (maybe 2ice a week) /monthly den they can go back to their daily jobs and businesses. With this, no one will kill another to be a senator.

Music/Radio / Re: Mavin Records And Don Jazzy’s Impotent Artistes by tallceejay(m): 8:25am On Aug 01, 2013
!

I must confess that since D’banj left, Don Jazzy has continued to make magical beats but none of his artistes have been able to vocally make love with his beats like Dbanj did. D’banj had intercourse with Don Jazzy’s production; the chemistry was marvelous! Now that D’banj has gone to eat from Kanye West’s musical kitchen, Don Jazzy is left with a collection of musically impotent artistes!

Tiwa Savage:
This damsel and Wande Coal are the only musicians on the label but since Tiwa Savage got to Mavin Records, she has not seen her period. Period!

In summary, it will be very hard to sell most of the Mavin guys as stand-alone brands. Most of them lack what it takes to be an enigma. Besides Tiwa Savage and Don Jazzy himself, nobody else will easily be seen as a complete brand. My advise to Don Jazzy is to open his toilet and flush some artistes out of the Mavin building.

Sports / Re: Obaobona Slams Wenger Over Invitation For Trial by tallceejay(m): 4:11pm On Jul 28, 2013
Iyfe Namikaze: Super Eagles inform defender, Godfrey Obabona has expressed anger against the management and technical staff of Premiership entertaining team, Arsenal for inviting him for trial before offering
him a deal, frowning that such decision more of less discredits him and the country at large.

Speaking to Daily Sunsports at the Super Eagles camp in Abuja, the Sunshine Stars FC of Akure defender argued that he could not see the rationale, why Barcelona should sign midfield attacking sensation, Nermay da Silva Santos, who was playing in the Brazilian league without trial and Arsenal could not do the same to him, describing his invitation for trial as an embarrassment.

Asked what happened to his Arsenal deal the Super Eagles defender angrily thundered: “I don’t think anything happened because it is high time some of these clubs started respecting this country. Nigeria is a very big football playing country. “I continue to wonder why Barcelona should sign Nermay for £50 million from a Brazilian club even before Brazil won the Confederations Cup, only for Arsenal management to tell me, who participated in the team that won the Africa Cup of Nations to come for trial.

Career / Re: How Did You Succeed With Your 2-2 Or 3rd Class? by tallceejay(m): 9:25pm On Jul 26, 2013
spicy v: I graduated in 2005 with a 3rd class in a field a lot θf people consider professional but as far as I was and am still concerned, its a boooooring field! Having realized that, I quickly started the interesting process θf self discovery, armed with this knowledge, I went to a private organization to volunteer, that was before NYSC, during my service year alone, I had three job offers! Back then, I humorously say to my friends who were crazy about the masters degree that with all their certification, I would be offered a job before they would be considered if we all went for the same interview.

Truth is every employer I have ever come across find it hard to accept that I had a 3rd class and that is because θf my overall presentation, intelligent manner in which I engage their minds, the excessive passion I exude and the subtle but hard to miss its-your-loss-if-I-am-not-a-part-of-your-team aura I naturally exude.

In summary, I would say, if you have the opportunity to bag another degree and certification, go ahead! But you have got to be able to back it up else its just a waste θf time, effort and money!!!

Na wash!
