Yoshi-Master:
You don't f**k with crocs, they have the ability to slow down their metabolism and wait for you for up to 2 weeks.

There was also a true story I remember about some Aussie that was trapped on a tree, he had to climb the tree to get away from crocs. Funny thing is these crocs waited for him patiently under the tree. He said at night all he could see were sets of colored eyes starring at him, and moaning as if to say, I want my food now. Luckily he was rescued just like this guy.

If I ever visit Australia, I am staying away from every swamp, lake, river e.t.c. Australia is notorious for having some of the biggest crocs alive.

So true, crocs r just one deadly part abt Australia...its also home to 70 venomous species. Snakes, 5 of which don't have anti-venom, hundreds of species of d poisonous box jelly fish, blue ringed, urchin, blue ringed octupus(kills in minutes)...all these contain a potent concoction of neuro toxinsn some other toxins jÙst attack body tissue and reÑders a man paralysed....

Delafruita: how did his asset become so large?irrespective of how large his assets are, should the government be deprived of its due?besides acording to the report below, they owed for over 7years.so in seven years, daddy G. O never bothers to know that a school founded by his church which charges almost 200,000 naira for a JSS1 student hasnt paid taxes.

"What they owed is below two million naira,it is from 2003 to 2010.We have sent several notices to them. The first one was in 2010 followed by that of 2011 and the last was in May 2013.Our men were explaining to them when some personnel including their legal officer and accountant came out and in the course of discussion, our men were beaten blue black and our equipment were destroyed"

I beg to say this...with all due respect. Your account is so one sided..."in the course of discussion, our men were beaten blue black and our equipment were destroyed" will anyone just started being anoda blue black in the course of a discussion??

I've witnessed a visitation by tax officials, I'd say they r arguable d worst set of people to deal with! People think VIO is wicked ?? Wait and meet with diz tax guys!

No doubt, taxes must be paid. Even the bible advices that. I'd say, someone was provoked and it ensused in physical assault, both parties were wrong.

millionjoys: Hey Guys!

Please, Stop these jokes o!

What have I done again that my gender is being considered questionable?

@ ipassemall, easy my guy. don't be too harsh on anybody here.

There is no body here without a problem or challenge or call it whatever you think, whether general or personal.

But, it is good to look at the antecedence.

The last recruitment was in 2011, Advert started sometime in July and Successful Candidates list was released on the 23rd December in the same Year. Though, the recruitment was well calendared but they still have over one month delay.

I am 100% sure that the people, cadets in Batch B never knew that they would stay at home for close to 6 months before the list was released.

So, I personally think is just luck for the batch A guys that resumed on the 9th of January, 2012. and even the batch B that already knew the time they are resuming though almost 6 months.

If the Batch A of 2011/2012 Set are around 266 Cadet ASPs and 224 Cadet Inspectors making total of 490 Cadets according to http://www.npf.gov.ng/formation-list/police-academy/ then if Batch A passes out, we can be adequately and conveniently accommodated there without an itch, because ours is just about 170 ASPs and 80 Inspectors making total of about just 250 Cadets.

Another issue now is that Wudil, Kano has just been upgraded to Degree awarding and we all know that candidates ought to have resumed since June/July this year but it was also postponed till September in order to make the calendar same with other Nigerians institutions - NUC, ASUU is still on strike? We may not be accommodated in Wudil, Kano again because of the reasons mentioned above.

I was gradually feeling that Wudil, Kano was taking a high probability as the venue of our training but I know Ikeja, Lagos should be the more appropriate choice now, where Abeokuta is the most appropriate.

So, arocharches 'may' be moving faster to the wrong side.

We are all intelligent guys, and God himself has helped us thus far. I will make a motion that says that we should start bothering ourselves when we don't receive any update or call up to resume for training after 6 months time counting from April this year 2013.

I know we will get one, we have waited before for almost 5 months from November 17 & 18, 2012 to March 25, 2013 for just update to know the next line of action, so this should not be strange.

Remember that good things don't come easily . . .

There are explosions of information everywhere that is so hard to identify the genuine. So, believing that all is working together for our good is the best option.

Never have this kind of thought that everybody here is just blabbing because they have said one thing or the other that didn't come to pass. Because they are not God. Even, President of a nation can fail too when it comes to planning. if not for months even some days set back.

Many are worrying because most of their personal plans have been disrupted by the lull of PSC & NPF.

But, I am of the optimism that this will pay off in the end.

However, I still remain on the fact that we are most obliged to God . . .

Lets just keep thanking God and Relax and be prepared . . .

golpen: From dawahnigeria fb page...like them

Sometimes,
I want to open my Hijab,
and show the world
that I too,
Am beautiful in the people's definition.
But,
Deep down here,
in my little heart,
I know that beauty is by definition, a mystery.
And it is forever more rewarding,
to be beautiful in God's eyes.

Sometimes,
I want to wear ruffled dresses & tight jeans
show off what I really look like,
under those baggy shirts & loosely fitted pants
make a statement that I too have a figure and worth looking at.
But,
I know better,
to avoid entering the world of men's imagination,
for I love my future hubby
and I am ashamed,
what should be his, has already be unveiled by others.

Sometimes,
I want to show the world,
the other side of me,
the bubblier, bolder and crazier me,
put myself on display
for everyone to see, to be desired and admired upon.
But,
I know that eyes are not just eyes
seeing is not just seeing,
Image & Respect are gained,
Shame & Humility deserve a better place...

Celebrities / Re: Beverly Osu Exposes More Secrets On Big Brother Africa by tallceejay(m): 6:00pm On Aug 11, 2013
Talkcentral: Young, spontaneous and excessive are words Big Brother Africa fans relate easily to her. Her stories elicit taunts and laughter from Nigerian viewers. Many waive her off, preferring to call her ‘a disgrace to Nigeria’, without a second thought.

But that is what Beverly Ada Osu has brought upon herself, going into the finale of Africa’s biggest reality TV show. She has given no one reason to think or speak otherwise.

And she has revealed more of her
dirty secrets again:

Being real?
Beverly found herself on the wrong side of a love triangle early in the game. Many gave her the benefit of doubt when Ugandan basketballer, Isaac ‘LK4’ Lugude decided to play a fast one on her and South African model Koketso Modibo. But many failed to take that as a hint.

She moved on to Ethiopian student, Bimp, after being shipped off to the Diamond House from the Ruby House. She didn’t need his permission to share his bed: She latched onto him like a leech for her daily survival. But Bimp’s avowed commitment to his girlfriend ensured that he kept the lines of friendship very clear.

When South Africa’s Angelo Collins connected with Beverly at the party zone, it was a case of two housemates finding love on the rebound; and that love which Beverly shares with the dance instructor has seen her throw caution to the winds. After two near mishaps, Beverly finally let go last Friday in Biggie’s bathtub. She became the fourth female Chasemate to have sex on live TV, following closely in the footsteps of Betty, Selly and Cleo.

Her many exaggerations
Beverly made ears twinge earlier when she revealed that she was expelled from secondary school. Then she spoke about a ‘thing’ with singer 2Shortz and tongues wagged more. The singer’s rebuttal of any links with her made people have a rethink. Could Beverly be making up her stories? Not long after many discerning fans began to pick holes in her stories. Funny enough, she told many of them to housemates without bothering if she was over-stepping boundaries of decency, tact, fact and truth.

“In Nigeria, I can be walking past a market, and a market woman will stone me,” Bev told Chasemates last week Friday. She claimed a 42-year-old man wanted to marry her after meeting her just for a day, just to buttress an earlier statement: “My mum used to tell me that the guy I will marry, I won’t date for long.”

While confirming that she dropped out of Babcock University, she raised viewers eyebrows with two blatant lies: “I went to the most expensive school in Nigeria. I was a first-class material before dropping out of school, not because I don’t have the brain.” Many can easily attest to the fact that Igbinedion University’s fees dwarf that of Babcock and many a first-class student can spell difference without blinking.

If you still care you can read through these random sensational picks: “Flirting is in my genes,” she told Angelo. “I have over 16 Bibles,” she also told housemates. She claimed that popular singer Omawumi Megbele was her best friend. That was after she let out that a journey from Nigeria to Ghana by road took between 2-3hours. For Beverly, the Nigeria naira exchanges at a N100 to $1: “I told him [one of her ex boyfriends] that I would charge N100,000, that’s about a $1,000!”

Her loose tongue
Beverly’s stories have no boundaries and respect. “My grandmother speaks Ibo and doesn’t speak English very well. She is an illiterate!” Her mother’s dealings in life are in the open. From revealing that her 52-year-old mother carried drugs, she claimed that she was also an alaiye (mother of street urchins), and spoke boldly of how her mother took one young man to the cleaners with the help of her brothers. Hmmm...

She told Elikem on Monday: “My first boyfriend was Frank Okosa. He was 18 and in SS2, I was 15 in SS3. He was the first to have sex with me.” She went ahead to reel out a list of her many boyfriends after Okosa: CJ, Nosa (32yrs), Rukkie (35yrs), Special (32yrs) and Curtis (28yrs). To justify her many men, she gave a lame excuse: “All my ex were over-protective and they took me for granted.” If she had stopped there it would have been very unlike her. But she dropped another bombshell for Elikem, the listening ear: “I can’t make love except I am high.”

On Wednesday, Beverly still wanted to have a say, as long as any housemate made a comment. So, when Namibia’s Dillish Matthews disclosed that her mother’s birthday was August 14, Beverly jumped in, “my mum’s birthday is tomorrow.”

Beverly’s many tales coupled with her bathtub escapade with Angelo is not doing her any favours with the fans. But if she can avoid the possible eviction nomination list next week, she will be in the annals of Big Brother Africa history books as the only Chasemate who made the grand finale without being nominated for 11weeks. If her name comes up next week, it would be safe to say even at this time that she may never make it to the finale, Nigerian or not!
