LegendHero:And you too. Naira went down and you guys said it is a good development. Threads were opened to explain how it is good for the economy and why even countries like China do not want their currency to equal the dollar. Then it started gaining and you became extremely happy and started praising Tinubu and accusing us of hating Nigeria when it is you guys that said it is better if it is low. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

The first time I experienced that was in primary 5. The whole time in the government school was like living in a snake pit; everyone was on their own. We fought when we had to and got over it. There were no groups or teams, but things changed when I was transferred to a mission school. The first thing I noticed was that they had groups: a quiet one and a violent one. The quiet one was led by Chisom Nkposu, a dude from Ebonyi state, and the second group was led by Chukwunweolu Njoku. There was also a female group led by Eze Nkechinyere. At first, they would try to get you on their side. If you refused, they would frustrate you, so those who went solo had to avoid them by all means. I was new in the school, and the principal was my uncle, but that didn't matter since I don't like disturbing people with my problems. After unsuccessfully trying to get me on his side, the violent group decided to frustrate me. There was nothing they didn't do until one afternoon during game time, one thing led to another, and I was in a fight with their leader. We exchanged a few blows and grappled each other. He tried to fling me around but miscalculated, so I took advantage of that and flung him into the gutter—a dry gutter that was just wide enough for him. I landed on him immediately and started to punch away all my pent-up anger. The gutter was narrow, so he couldn't turn. The other group was there, so they didn't allow his guys to intervene. I beat him badly. I got tired of punching and started feeding him sand. It was the headmaster who separated us. That earned me maximum respect. The leader of the female group was also fond of beating guys, and she came for me after school one day. I mistakenly stepped on the foot of one of her girls and apologized, but that wasn't enough for her. She used to wear this beautiful sweater, and on that fateful day, after she cornered me, she wanted to remove that cloth first. I waited until the thing covered her head, then I rushed her and used the cloth to properly wrap her head and hand and punched away. Nah policemen separated us. With the groups out of the way and the other group not coming for you unless you come for them, I instantaneously became the leader of those who wanted to go solo. I fought the fights all the time. In secondary school, it was too much that I had to learn karate. Can't go into that now. Private school is not for the weak. Functionaries are bandits. |

Adewale1603: False Happiness stems from encountering solvable problems and actively resolving them. This is why a life devoid of challenges can feel dull. Nature has ingeniously ensured this by presenting us with an endless array of problems, thus ensuring our pursuit of happiness remains ongoing. Consider this: When you lack a home, acquiring one brings temporary joy. However, this happiness is fleeting, as it necessitates solving subsequent life challenges for sustained fulfillment. Renting a house, for instance, introduces new financial responsibilities such as rent, utility bills like NEPA, water and other expenses. Similarly, finding the love of your life brings happiness, but it also presents new hurdles to overcome for lasting contentment. Marriage introduces its own set of challenges, followed by the responsibilities of raising a family, providing for children, and ensuring their education and well-being. Happiness isn't an innate quality or a destination to be reached; rather, it arises from actively engaging with life's myriad challenges and successfully navigating them. PEACE. 6 Likes 7 Shares |

cococandy:No, not at all. I was just replying to the part that said he slept with her help, men easily get accused of that if they try to stand up for house helps. That is all. If he is guilty of violence then he is an animal. |

Adewale1603:Listen, money can fix a lot of stuff, sure. But there are some things it just can't touch. Money cannot eliminate emotional pain, stress, or mental health challenges; it cannot always provide a sense of fulfillment in life. How about happiness? Money helps to solve some problems which bring temporary happiness, but it cannot buy genuine love or meaningful relationships. Money, as important as it may be, can't always save the day. It's good to have money, but it's not everything. There's more to life than just cash. There will be times you need people, honesty, integrity, etc., and you won't get them if all you have is money. It is also the reason some men struggle in marriage; all they have is money, and when the money is gone, the wife will discard them. There are times your money won't mean anything to your partner; a guy with good leadership skills, communication skills, decision-making skills, etc., will have a more fulfilling marriage than a man with just cash. Your current problem is money, but once you get it, you will see more. 8 Likes 5 Shares |
