Gerrard59: Thanks for that observation as it shows the true state of the issue rather than through the lenses of those who see Nigeria beginning from Lagos then terminates at Abuja.
Nonetheless, it's good we've this survey because TwitterNG feminists have ranted so much about women being breadwinners that a first timer would have thought half of Nigerian households were sponsored by the women. Who takes Twitter feminist seriously? Abeg ignore them. |

idahme: They are hard working but you still don't understand how relationship and this data works. Most of those hard working ladies have husbands who are more wealthy than they do further plummeting the figure. It is not uncommon to see a hard working lady but still holds the idea it's not her duty to contribute to the welfare of the home irrespective of their earning power. Those ladies aren't classified as bread winners even if they have income more than their husbands but usually ladies with such mindset are highly hypergamous. Life doesn’t begin and end in the city, and Gen Z ladies are not the majority of married women, so you don’t have to draw your conclusions based solely on your experiences or others’ experiences with them. I’ve traveled around this country, mixed with different cultures, and can tell you unequivocally that irresponsibility is not gender-based. Igala women—most of them—run the household, and Idoma women do the same. I’m talking about those in the villages. Let’s not even get started on Bayelsa or Delta. How about Baba Iyabo, who drops 2k in the morning before leaving the house and returns in the evening to eat his fill, or Papa Emeka, who drops a single tuber of yam and expects to eat to his fill at night? What about Aboki husbands, whose wives are in a different state, surviving on 5k or 10k sent to them every weekend? Guy, Nigerian women are hardworking, and they take care of their families—especially their children. |

It will probably be a similar figure for the households where the men are the major breadwinners (25-30%). Then the rest of the population will be tied between the 50/50 couples There are Nigerians that do 50/50? |

Right now I just use it only to listen to music or watch movies on my device. Very unreliable product. I bought their Freepods pro and the battery drains like something I can’t even explain. One minute it’s at 100%, the next it’s down to 90%, then 80%, and so on. I thought it was just a defect with that particular product, so I returned it and got a replacement. Scanned the QR code, everything checked out, and I thought it was fine. Got home—same problem. |

I'm very happy about this matter because way back, he tried his possible best to assassinate Kiki’s character. As an investigative journalist, who does that? When you don't have evidence and whatnot.
My friend is also an investigative journalist like David and when we talked about this niggar some time back, I no longer rated him because he had ALWAYS been a questionable character. Infact, the two journalists don't see eye to eye till this day

AishaDant: These days, responsible men are not even up to three percent of the population.
As a female, you have to be very careful around these men.
For me, I always advice other females to define every relationship with the opposite sex. If it is just platonic friendship, define it from the start. If he is asking you to date him or something intimate, take your precious time and learn more about him. Study his character and be sure he is what you need before saying yes.
Sadly, some females do not know how to say no because they are super conscious of marriage and all it entails. With the right man, everything will flow. With the wrong man, there will always be issues. LMAO We have more responsible men than woman anyways but you people think there is few responsible men because the responsible men don't want y'all. |

Somebody said that responsible men are not up to 5% of the population and it's just funny. She even told women to be careful, seriously? How exactly do this gender think? What do they feel like? What makes them think we have more responsible women than men?
Responsible men full everywhere, if you can't find one, it means none wants you. |
Romance › Re: 35 Is Not Too Late For Marriage by Tallesty1(m): 3:07pm On Nov 23, 2024 |
ThaThinka: So, what if the person hadn't been lucky to find someone suitable at a younger age? I know at least a couple of such.
And another thing: God has the final say! We've heard of middle-aged women giving birth to healthy children, even back in those days.
Everyone don't always get what they want at their desired time. That's life and God knows best.
Well, the story might be different for people who kept marriage on hold when presented with perfect opportunities sha. I doubt there’s any 35-year-old who hasn’t met someone who genuinely wanted them at some point. For men, it’s often during a phase when you’re broke or still in school. These women truly cared, but you weren’t ready. Sometimes they moved on and married someone else because you didn’t value them or acted like an asshole. For women, it’s usually about having unrealistic standards when they were younger, breaking up over trivial reasons, or friend-zoning the ones who genuinely cared for them. Majority has at least that one relationship they wish they didn't mess up. |

I went to do eye test in the hospital and the woman told me it's 3k. After the test, I tried transferring from my gtbank app and zenith bank app - none was going through at that moment. Not until I went home and saw multiple transactions to the account I was trying to send money too. I was just seeing debit alerts.
I'm thinking of asking Gtb and zenith to close my accounts while I keep all my money in opay.
Opay users is opay better or worse? The good thing about Opay is that if the bank you're transferring to has issues that will delay alert, Opay will let you know. |

StPete: Oga just get yourself a side chick.
It saves you pent up anger and relives you of stress.
Sex is very important to men. Like someone said, sexually compatibility is key. This is the first key thing to look out for.
When u finally get to bang outside and pay less attention to her, she herself will know she has bleeped up! My brother, some men sincerely do not understand women. Compatible or not, some will deny you sex. That is why I laugh when I hear people tell men, “When you marry, sex will tire you,” because it is one of the biggest lies out there. That's not always the case. Married men are the most sex-starved people anywhere, and that's because women know how much sex means to men, so they punish them with it or trade it one way or the other. First, I’ll advise the guy in this post to keep dating his wife; it might help. Also, he should play an active role in her life during the day, flirt with her, and all that. If she's not a witch, she will let him have some. You know, some men will leave her alone all day, only to show up at night and expect her to turn nyash. If she has been harboring resentment and vexation all day, she won't turn nyash. Also, men should stop being weaklings. It’s irritating as hell. I remember being in a talking stage with a lady, and at some point, the issue of how many kids we wanted came up. I told her I wanted three kids, and she said she wanted two. I asked her to reconsider, and she said no, that she had made up her mind long ago, and making room for a third child was too stressful for her mental health. I said, “Okay, I wouldn’t want to stress you that way, you can stop at two, but I will still have three children.” She got angry, did her usual nye nye nye manipulations, but when all that didn’t work, she quit. I’m not sure who told this guy that he can only have sex with his wife if she’s acting this way. Let her stay celibate if she wants, but he should make sure to take care of his needs, just do it smartly and with protection. You only live once. |

There was this belief that the first person to see it would be in trouble because whatever the woman was using the sacrifice to appease the gods for would be transferred to them. It was also believed that the only way to counter it was to make the person dropping the sacrifice talk. So, we started greeting the woman. Omo, she refused to respond. So we legit abandoned school and followed her oo. All our “Ma, good morning!” fell on deaf ears until she got close to the town. Then she turned around and was like “Morning, these children! Abeg leave me alone.” That’s when we turned back and continued on our way to school. |

You both are getting older let’s say 31 and 29 respectively, and you know the pressure from the girl’s side. Pressure aside, women age faster than men. So in this condition what will you do? Would you allow her to go so she could find some else ? Do you feel you are wasting her time though not intentionally? What would you advice be to someone facing such situation? Both of you are still young, but if you know you won't marry her later, please kindly let her go now so she can settle down while she still has time. Also, since you can handle your personal shits and she can manage hers, why not marry her lowkey now and delay having kids until you're financially ready? It's doable. |
