dawnomike:
Wickedness of the highest order!!!

Why deceive a woman just to marry her in the name of lover that will first clear off when the truth unravels?
I doubt this story happened. People are consistently telling lies online to paint the other gender bad.

Let's unpack it.

The man brought a result claiming AA.
No woman who is AS and has sense will accept that result. Couples don't do these tests separately, they do it together.

Most churches do not wed couples blindly, you gest tested together. They sometimes recommend the test center. The result must be from that center.

Why were they testing the fetus when she was certain their blood matched? Isn't that weird? She's AS, he's AA, they can only have AA and AS so why the tests?

The hospital will run the tests after the first incident. There is no way a doctor will let them leave without doing the tests or recommending it.

Okay, she's AS so the only person at fault after the first incident is the man yet she didn't request for a test before getting pregnant again. Is she that stupid?

Ihaveleftnaija:
If we want the same standards and annual budget South Africa has, are we willing to pay the price they are paying for all the development they have? That's the biggest question. South Africans pay 40% and above in taxation, are ready for that or we just want the beauty and class without paying the price tag for it ? You cannot be this organised and developed without the budget to match the standards. Let's pay the taxes first and complain later if the government doesn't deliver.
Kindly shut up.

Nigeria generates approximately ₦55.5 trillion annually from crude oil; South Africa does not have that. What did your leaders do with all that annual income? When it comes to developing the country, you all start comparing us to high-tax-paying countries with no oil, instead of our peers that have oil and low taxes
PoliticsRe: Guys They Have Added The Value Added Tax by Tallesty1(m): 4:41am On Feb 01
helinues:
That's why the government want to increase the tax base so that those benefits can be circulated. Na you people still don't want the government to be borrowing unnecessarily
Nigerians didn't start paying taxes today, why are you this slow?

We've been paying taxes forever.

So why are we being asked to pay MORE taxes when our oil revenue and taxes are mismanaged, corruption eats the budget, services are terrible, and loans vanish into thin air?

Why put new wine in an old wineskin?

If they waste oil money and borrowed funds, what makes you think they'll use tax money wisely?

Fix corruption first, then talk about new taxes.
EducationRe: 19-Year-Old Waste Seller, Samuel Gets ₦1M, ₦7.05M Donations, Scholarship by Tallesty1(m): 9:34am On Jan 30
Nice one, I saw the video on Twitter yesterday and I was happy for him and his mother but the comments are disturbing.

There are millions of Samuels out there suffering on the streets of Nigeria. No help is in sight, no help will ever come, yet when we watched the video, we weren't angry at the politicians who failed. Instead, we preach hope and belief in God that one day it'd be our turn.

This is precisely the danger of the passive form of faith we practice in Nigeria

You should try to apply to big and popular law firms after you have gathered three years legal experience at a low paying law firm.

How many people will they employ?

folake4u:
Lol. It is possible. There are lot of queer people in Nigeria, including the ones that are open about their sexuality and the closeted ones.

Also, I think there's a misconception about being a transgender. The term is actually encompassing, it includes cross dressers, drag queens etc. It is not all transgender folks that pursue medical or hormone treatments/procedures or surgeries etc to match their current gender identity.

They also do not identify with the original sex registered for them at birth as opposed to being a cisgender (those who identify with the sex registered for them at birth).

I've attended some queer parties and mehn, they indeed have a community.

Dtruthspeaker:
I have always said that that statement "weaker vessel" is a Lie and a deceit meant to make men more fullysh.

Women are as strong as men it is just like comparing Benz with BMW or Honda with Toyota or Audi with Volkswagen.
This is embarrassing to read
FamilyRe: Are Women Actually The “Weak Vessel”? by Tallesty1(m): 2:03am On Dec 28, 2025
Harddiskng:
Physical weakness is subjective though.

I doubt you can beat anyone of the top 10 professional UFC women division fighters in the world. You vs anyone of them. You know who my money is on lol.

What if, “women are the weaker vessel” is a fallacy we have been cleverly sold by women to avoid jobs/situations they don’t to be involved with: like going to war cheesy
Only the top 1% of women are stronger than the bottom 20% of men. So yes, the strongest women can match the weakest men.

But here's the critical part: even those weakest 20% of men are still stronger than 99% of women. Think about that. The men who represent the bottom of male strength distribution still outmatch nearly all women.

Here is another.
When an average man transitions to female and competes in women's sports, even with hormone therapy, he dominates, essentially becoming a superwoman relative to biological females. But when a woman transitions to male, even with maximum testosterone supplementation, she's at best, a weak man.

The strength disparity between males and females is enormous and shouldn't be downplayed or ignored. No dey bring that yeye UFC fighters argument, these are trained professionals. The reason we have male and female sports is so women can have a chance. If they're equally matched in strength then let male wrestle female, kickbox women, play football and basketball with women etc and your eye go open.

So no, men and women are not comparable in raw physical strength. The data makes this undeniable.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s New Tax Laws Explained In Simple English (2026 Guide) by Tallesty1(m): 9:08am On Dec 19, 2025
Taxing people based on bank account monitoring seems deeply flawed to me. As a contractor who handles complete electrical projects from piping to fittings, and sometimes CCTV installations, my clients typically pay the full project amount into my account in three stages: first for piping, second for wiring, and finally for fittings. How will the government distinguish between my actual income and the money meant for materials and operational costs just by monitoring my account?

Ezra thrown back into the labour market as how nah? You don't know him. That guy was the technical architect behind Paystack's payments infrastructure, a system that handled complex payment processing across multiple African countries with different regulations, currencies, and banking systems. They built it before AI made things easier. That is like being an accountant before calculator or writing was invented.

Beyond writing code, he's one of the most impactful technical builders in African tech. No, he's not back to job hunting. He's a dollar millionaire to begin with. He just needs time to clear his head and build something.

Chinedu never said the marriage was built on love. If you check online, you will find his interviews on their marriage and marriage generally. He said he doesn't court his wives. He sees and he marries. Then they understand themselves inside the marriage. He marries many women to help us. These are his words, I am not even making it up.

Yes, he is a smart and wicked man.
I do know there is more both parties are holding back because it would be detrimental to them.

Thanks to feminists, child rape cases that were swept under the carpet like Ochanya's own are being resusticated. There was never a time Nigerians took rape accusations serious. If you ask me, blaming feminists is just a safe landing. I don't care if anyone believes me in that situation. I have seen comments on the believable ones and it left a sour taste in my mouth. So I will simply take out the predator as fast as I can. As a spectator, I don't necessarily have to believe or express doubt. I allow you exhaust your narration and evidences. There are ways to ask leading questions without shutting up a victim like Nigerians do.

Lol! She enjoyed life and I would never have guessed anything like this was happening. I think the parties required to make this marriage work would be Ned and Regina's mother. Ned because he is the husband and oldest. Regina's mother because Regina was/is young __she needs a sensible mother figure to guide her as a little bride. If they decide to get back, they should look into it.
Ned too is tired but he has to keep fighting because if Gina successfully exits, others will follow.

See as dey keep quiet dey observe.

But the wisest thing is to let go, face his fears once and for all and be happy. Make we no hear he died in his sleep.
CelebritiesRe: Ned Nwoko: How Regina Daniels & Her Brother, Sammy Abused Drugs, Disrupted House by Tallesty1(m): 7:38am On Nov 10, 2025
pocohantas:
Some of your brothers say na that type babes likes, as long as money dey. Safe ancestor limit to me is 12yrs (maybe 15) age gap (and the bride should be in her 20s). Anything above that, I feel they will have too much differences, except the man steps down or she steps up. Ned was obviously stepping down. Na the DV accusations I no understand.
People do not understand this dynamic when they talk about age differences.

The problem was not when she married but who she married. People are saying that the issue is some inevitable maturity regret, but that's not true. If Regina married the guy she was allegedly dating before Ned, would the same thing happen? No.

The issue then is not the age but the massive incompatibility between them. Ned was already a millionaire when Regina was born; their understanding of life is different. Ideologies are different, so it's hard to cope.
And once physical attraction dies, the other person's greeting will irritate you.

If you're 18, don't marry someone above 28, 30 at most.
If you're 35 as a guy, don't go below 23. If you're touching 40, target 29, at least the difference will be manageable, but 40 years younger is insane.

For me, I don't even think they had a genuine marriage in the first place. The way I see it, this was a transactional arrangement from the start. You have fame, you have youth but these don't last so the best way to convert it to currency is to marry one old money, secure wealth, have children, ensure their future is set and enjoy your life. Riri is doing it so why can't her daughter?
Aside from this, I see no other reason a girl her age would marry Ned.

The problem is that Ned isn't a fool. To be sincere, he's a very smart man. Wicked, yes, but very smart.

You've seen his response articulated and backed up with evidence. What does Regina have? Very little concrete documentation, and that weakens her position significantly.

Thanks to feminist, people now doubt rape accusations and DV with no evidence. Tears have always been a manipulative tool women use at will.

I don't feel for her at all. She's the wife of a Nigerian senator, for all I care, I am her victim too.

Delta constituency project money is in her account. If you doubt me, ask her.

I don't even know the Uche Montana. You diasporans know them more than us because you watch Naija movies via Youtube. I only know Uche through gossip blogs. If he insists Regina is taking drugs, then she just might be. He has to tell us why his wives are always taking drugs and why he didn't report to NDLEA all these years.

Regina got popular as a child actor + her marriage to Ned. It was never about her acting skills. I have honestly never watched her movie as an adult. All her movies I watched was when she was a child actor. Just like Williams Uchemba.

There is a serious drug problem in Nigeria. Some are on code, some are obvious.
For a girl her age to make love to Ned, she needs to be very high.

He can't, because he knows that by the time he rents a shop, registers his business, pays for shipping and clearing and handle the logistics, include money for agents, dispatchers and his customer reps, he will struggle to sell at N400k.

By the time Tinubu comes for Tax, he increase the prize to N420k or maybe fold.

There was a time I wanted to import stuffs from China but by the time I calculated all that was involved, buying from Lagos became cheaper.

What VDM did was give you guys a Chinese contact, which works if you're buying one few items.

Let VDM order in bulk, pay for clearing and other levies. Rent a shop, pay Tinubu's taxes and other market/union levies.

His own price might pass Blord own after that.

You are supporting evil people who are extorting the masses for the sake of personal profit.

You were a keke man, ordinary Keke wey no suppose pass 1 million, these evil people are importing and selling it for 4 million plus.

I guess you left Keke business because you couldn't afford to replace your old keke due to the extreme greed of the evil people.

But here you are supporting the same guys that chased you out business.
Everything isn’t supporting evil. You people don’t understand business and how fvcked Nigeria government made it. Go to Apo Shoprite, they're clearing out.

VDM’s contact is in China; he sends products through Spedaf which is mostly free, so there’s no shipping cost.
Blord buys in bulk, so he pays for shipping.

The Chinese contact doesn’t pay import duties or clearing. Blord does.

The Chinese guy has no shop here, so he doesn’t pay electricity, rent, or market levies. Blord does.

The Chinese contact doesn’t pay taxes. Blord pays them all.

When you add all these up plus the profit margin needed to keep the cycle running
you’ll realize that if the price is inflated at all, it’s not by much.

If VDM truly wants to prove a point, let him open a store, import goods from China himself, and sell at that same price. Let’s see if he won’t fold within two months

The truth is, VDM’s Chinese contact contributes nothing to Nigeria’s economy.
