If we want the same standards and annual budget South Africa has, are we willing to pay the price they are paying for all the development they have? That's the biggest question. South Africans pay 40% and above in taxation, are ready for that or we just want the beauty and class without paying the price tag for it ? I am a Nigerian man and I must say Nigerian guys generally need to do and think better. It is not the 1950’s, ladies are working, earning even more than men, funding most households; I stand on this. Lol. It is possible. There are lot of queer people in Nigeria, including the ones that are open about their sexuality and the closeted ones.

Also, I think there's a misconception about being a transgender. The term is actually encompassing, it includes cross dressers, drag queens etc. It is not all transgender folks that pursue medical or hormone treatments/procedures or surgeries etc to match their current gender identity.

They also do not identify with the original sex registered for them at birth as opposed to being a cisgender (those who identify with the sex registered for them at birth).

I've attended some queer parties and mehn, they indeed have a community.
