Kobojunkie:Nature doesn't give a shit about anyone's interest. Delayed childbearing doesn't cause fibroid but it increases the risk so? |

Her frustration is valid, but she is also very, very foolish. Yes, men reduce women to their physical appearance at first glance, which is understandable since you have to tell them or show them what they’re not seeing—and it ends there. But what she, just like every other woman, often leaves unexamined is that the culture women criticize is also one they help construct. If you invite 20 celebrities to an event, 10 men and 10 women. The men will come nicely or weirdly dressed. The women will wear expensive clothes that covered everywhere except the places clothes where originally meant to cover, the two decently dressed women will cheer them on and snap them for us at home to see. We now live in an era where empowerment is often expressed through hypersexualized imagery. While everyone has the right to bodily autonomy, we can’t ignore the contradictions: the same platforms where women demand to be seen as more than their bodies are often the very ones where many self-objectify for attention, monetization, or validation. Religion teaches that modesty isn’t oppression; it’s intentional dignity. Philosophy reminds us that freedom without restraint collapses into chaos. Academically, we know objectification is a two-way transaction: it requires both the objectifier and the one willingly objectified. So yes, women are more than their bodies. But accountability requires examining how they present themselves to the world as much as how the world perceives them. You can’t wear a costume and be angry that you’re cast in a role. If you want a culture that sees the whole woman, you must help build one that honors her whole image—mind, body, and spirit. |

libertyfather:It is more dangerous than high blood sugar if not managed well. The good news is that a bottle of sprite can stabilize the person, at least until a medical personnel can handle it. Infolenka:It's not that simple. Sometimes, when our cells stop responding properly to insulin (a condition called insulin resistance), the body compensates by producing even more insulin. This excess insulin can push too much glucose out of the bloodstream, leading to low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Since the brain relies heavily on glucose to function, this drop can cause confusion, seizures, loss of consciousness, or even coma. In cases of hypoglycemia unawareness which is medical term for when a person doesn’t recognize the symptoms, often because they’re asleep or unable to respond, it can become life-threatening and lead to death. The major health challenge in Nigeria is that many people don’t know their medical history or status. That ignorance delays diagnosis, worsens outcomes, and keeps preventable conditions deadly. If this lady knew that she had low blood sugar issues, she would always keep soft drinks at home. They come handy. |

RaySimran:It’s neither a prophecy nor a lucky guess. “Pope Leo” is the assigned saint name expected for the next pope—not his actual birth name. Anyone who knows how papal naming works would understand that. Regardless of what his real name is, tradition suggests he’ll take the name Pope Leo. For context, the current pope, Pope Francis, was born Jorge Mario Bergoglio |
Racoon:This list is incomplete without the inclusion of poor diet. APC is the reason for the mass failure. Nobody can fight hunger and algebra at the same time. Nigerians can't afford a balanced diet anymore and the brain needs fuel. No food, no focus, low energy, weak memory, poor attention span. If Iron, B-vitamins, and omega-3 are missing, your brain will show it. Feed the brain, or it will fail you. |
Sharpsharp00123:Reno Omokri is 51 years old. Seyi is 39. Oseloka is 33. Reno is older than all of them, so if we're asking for track records, he should start by listing his own businesses, the Nigerians he's employed, and perhaps why he couldn't sustain a marriage. Ironically, this is the same man who once swore he’d never forgive Obi because Obidients “came for his child.” Yet here he is, going after another man’s son. |
JASONjnr:Die this talk abeg. Every Nigerian knows how corrupt these institutions are. If you want the poor to get an education, subsidize it, which I think was what the past governments did until this administration came and said, ‘We can’t afford it anymore; we’ll give you loans instead.’ Now, even that fund has been looted. Money lost. Education still expensive. Yet instead of calling out the people who 'put new wine in old wineskins,' you’re here projecting that Obi or Atiku might be responsible |

WantsandMore:During our days, just the sound of a man's motorcycle restores peace and order in the house but today, father's are twerking with their children on TikTok. |
pocohantas:Is you must kill me today a joke to you? One was was having issue with her husband last year and she no gree three women hold, and na so she short. Landlord had to evict them. It will never make sense to me too, and I always keep wondering how things get back to normal after the fight and all. |
meobizy:The man was an abusive murderer. The deceased was a stupid woman. Three days before their wedding, he attacked her with a cutlass yet she still went ahead and married him. If he could do that so close to the wedding, it clearly wasn’t the first time. And still, she foolishly said 'I do.' People really don’t value their own lives anymore. |
dominique:If we embrace 50/50 in all aspects of marriage, you online noise makers will run with your tails between your legs. To begin with, 50/50 doesn't start after marriage—it should start from day one. I come to your place to get a list, and we split the bill 50/50, or you go to mine and get your list. Your sisters will stop planning their dream weddings with a ₦100k bank account. Once we're done with the marriage and she moves into my house, she will start paying rent based on the value of the house. We’ll also split every other responsibility 50/50—down to who turns on the generator and fixes the lights. And if we're unlucky enough to have criminals break in, both of us will be walking side by side to open that door. If the government and police fail, and men on the street have to keep watch, you all are coming out too. Now, on having kids, we will take turns—I’ll get you pregnant, and then it’s your turn to get me pregnant. If you fail within two years, then it’s my turn again. Do you really think cooking and cleaning are problems for men today? How much is a washing machine? You're here supporting a foolish man just because your son isn’t the groom. Nonsense. Men shouldered responsibilities for years, no problem but the moment some of you started bringing nonsense N30 support, we will not hear words again. |

All this drama is just to save face—deep down, the man is hurting badly. |
helinues:If I were a liar, I would be in APC. Jonathan's government started in 2010 and ended in 2015, so when I talk about affordable air tickets, 2010 and 2011 etc must be included. We are not brain-dead like you lot in APC. Air tickets were ₦25,000 to ₦30,000 in 2015 after a 50% increase—now ask yourself how much they were before that. Also, remember that booking in advance gets you a better deal. Abuja to Lagos with Med-View was ₦15,000 in 2012—an amount that can’t even buy original jeans trousers today. Look at the attached picture and see what soulless fools, who claim to be patriotic, have done to this country
|
kokoA:20K kee? Air travel used to be 10K (6,800+ with a student ID), then 12K, then 15K—I think it maxed out at 20K, but I’m not so sure. Unless you're flying her in, you don’t need 20K. Otherwise, that 20K will cover her round trip and flexing while she's in your house. I was doing Abuja to Enugu by road for just N2,500 in the park and 1500 if I stand by road. |
And then? |

GloriousGbola:A guy couldn't get his girlfriend a gift for her birthday because he was having financial problems. Meanwhile, the lady received money from several other guys, even a flower bouquet, and posted it on her WhatsApp status. The guy saw it and sent it to an influencer, asking for advice. The influencer shared it, and the comments were wild. Some blamed him, some told him to move on because she had no respect for him, and others supported the girl, arguing that a man shouldn't allow another man to outgift him on his girl's birthday. Men clapped back, asking what these people knew about the guy’s finances—he could be a student or in his early twenties. But the ladies wouldn’t have it. They said he shouldn’t date if he didn’t have money and should focus on making money first. That’s case one. Case two: A guy in his late twenties posted that he had nothing—no house, no car, still living with his parents. Men who made their first million in their mid-30s shared their stories to encourage him. Then some ladies started saying that if you’re in your twenties with no house or car and still living with your parents, you’re a failure. That’s why the guy made this post, and suddenly, the same ladies started complaining that he shouldn’t expect a 24-year-old to be financially stable because most of them are still in school. It’s a gender war. cc Pocohantas |
