kidco:Seen. Someone will reach out to you later today. Thanks. |
kidco:Your number pls. |
modath:Sensible. Very sensible post from a reasonable woman. |
Postmann, less/darktroll, you guys are crazy. Whenever I want to be foolish to engage either or both of you in any intellectual discourse, please be kind enough to remind me of this thread to reset my brain. Back to OP, everything you wrote back there is the truth but what saddens me is that Feminism seems to be winning. They've even successfully penetrated the academic world. Do you know the academic community has warned that in all academic writings, proformal reference to neuter nouns such as BABY must not be selective of the masculine gender, HE. Academics are advised to write, for instance: THE BABY WANTED ITS FOOD instead of THE BABY WANTED HIS FOOD Also in the case of indefinite pronouns - singular or plural - academics are advised to employ the plural proform paradigm, THEY. This means they should write, for instance: EVERYONE KNOWS THEIR RIGHT instead of EVERYONE KNOWS HIS RIGHT However, one issue that remains inadequately addressed is the preferred proform for neuter nouns like INDIA, COMPANY, etc. Academics are known to make a choice of the feminine gender in this case and they remain unquestioned. They write, for instance: INDIA HAS ADDRESSED HER POLITICAL ISSUES instead of INDIA HAS ADDRESSED ITS POLITICAL ISSUES. https://www.nairaland.com/2842406/sexism-fairness-gender-rights Postmann and my brothers against feminism, a lot of work has to be done. Let's continue to open threads to enlighten the innocent ones who are yet to be initiated into the feminist movement. They need to know about the evil of feminism. We need more "feminivores" like you Postmann. Peace. |
These Feminists obviously mean business and it seems they're winning. ON SEXISM, FAIRNESS AND GENDER RIGHTS For years now, the academic community has warned that in all academic writings, proformal reference to neuter nouns such as BABY must not be selective of the masculine gender, HE. Academics are advised to write, for instance: THE BABY WANTED ITS FOOD instead of THE BABY WANTED HIS FOOD The latter, it would be found, may be considered sexist, as it gives preference to one gender over the other. Also in the case of indefinite pronouns - singular or plural - academics are advised to employ the plural proform paradigm, THEY. This means they should write, for instance: EVERYONE KNOWS THEIR RIGHT instead of EVERYONE KNOWS HIS RIGHT While the former may yet be grammatically and semantically controversial, it is clearly not sexist, as it favours both gender choices. However, one issue that remains inadequately addressed is the preferred proform for neuter nouns like INDIA, COMPANY, etc. Academics are known to make a choice of the feminine gender in this case and they remain unquestioned. They write, for instance: INDIA HAS ADDRESSED HER POLITICAL ISSUES instead of INDIA HAS ADDRESSED ITS POLITICAL ISSUES While the choice of THEIR may give rise to unnecessary grammatical-number debate, one cannot deny the possibility of HIS. ITS too may not be appropriate, since in this case, INDIA is not the country as a geographical space but as a population and government. (In rare cases too - for native speakers of English - it may refer to the landscape). The question then is "why HER and not HIS?" |
delishpot:I'm not sure we read the same thing because it is clearly written in what I read that he told his inlaws what the wife did but he just couldn't disclose it to us (readers). They even think he's such a good man and they don't want to lose him so they had to give him another lady in that family. A funny story anyways. |
TooNoisy: ![]() |
coogar:Bumshorts on adults, yh but what's called bumshorts on little girls are completely different from the one in this pic, the base of the bütt are NEVER exposed. |
Please, it's completely wrong to think a child is dressed provocatively. It is wrong in its entirety. |
edwife:He's also been making shitty subs. Honestly, I can't believe Pedro completed the Newcastle game and as long as Ivanovic is in that defence, we will always be vulnerable at the back. Someone needs to speak some senses into Mou's head. |
edwife:Edwife ![]() Mourinho is chelsea's problem. He doesn't seem to be getting anything right at the moment. The only match he got it right was against Maccabi. Feminism has never been about gender equality but female equality. I won't take feminists serious until I see a feminist campaign trying to reduce the sentencing gaps between genders for the same crime. Until I see them campaigning for the things the girl mentioned and some other things, they will remain noisemakers. Feminists are just jokers anyways. |
Moana:I hear you loud and clear you online feminist. |
Moana:Story. Story. When you're done fabricating stories just to suit your argument, please do tell Miss Moana. |
5minsmadness:Most def |
crackhaus:She's amazing innit. When I'm ready for marriage, I'm gonna ask edwife to recommend a girl for me. She's a good woman. I found another like her today though "lovely(something)" |
VictoriaBee:Oh okay. |
dinachi:Bruv, I agree with you 100% but hey what's with you and puccy. Puccy this, puccy that. Lol chill mate. |
VictoriaBee:Chimamanda this, Chimamanda that. How long has Chimamanda been married? 4years? 5years?. Give me a name of a feminist that's been married for over 20years and is still married. |
edwife:Looooooool that's exactly what I've been doing too. Reading and smiling. I actually want to engage some of these people but I think I'll pass this evening. Let's keep reading edwife. |
lolaredvelvet:Go girl. I can tell you're an amazing woman. Your husband is a lucky man. |
Edwife, why you silent? |
Only a selfish man will take and not give back. I mean BJ is amazing, cunni is awesome but nothing beats 69, something I refer to as romantic dinner for two. If you know how to eat a woman right, she will never leave you. |
SAMBARRY:I plead with you to stop spewing nonsense. There is a difference between "stubborn" and "silly" but in you, both words have found a common ground. Sambarry, that's an innocent kiss from a Father to his beautiful daughter. That's his muse and probably the most beautiful-est thing in this world to him. Not everyone has a warped mind like yours. I am highly disappointed in you. And No, Talon is an entirely different person. |
SAMBARRY:Woman, please do shut the hell up. |
edwife:Oh all right. You look great from the back . Ed is lucky.Very long time indeed. Hope you're good? Up Chelsea. Pride of London. |
edwife:That bruddah up there just made me check your profile out . Please do mention me when you have your face displayed. I'm interested in seeing it. .Hello. |
babyosisi:Looool I give it to you, this is funny. |
edwife:I do understand there are beasts out there that beats their woman at the slightest provocation but hey, thank God there are still women like you that don't lump the good guys with the bad ones. Some of the ladies here can really learn from you but I've been here too long to know they won't listen to a good woman like you, they'd rather be led astray by people like Osisi. Nobody is perfect but you do a good job being objective all the time. I'm in awe of your maturity, the way you deal and manage people on here is legendary. |
coogar:She was happy cause she knows the man is a good man and must have been pushed to his limit before he decided "enough is enough" and give her the trashing of her life. And coogar, don't take that osisi lady serious, even I know she's as fake as kim's buttt. Ignore her. |
edwife:Ma'am, I have been good, you? Honestly, I do not know how best to handle such a situation cause I have never witnessed one or ever being in such a situation but I have read and I have tried to analyse various scenarios in my head but I always come to this conclusion on this particular snecerio that bitch-slapping such a woman won't be a terrible idea. Come on, if my woman verbally abuse me, God forbid and won't let me go peacefully like the gentleman that I am, I think a slap or two ain't such a bad idea. She might end up with injury if I have to forcefully push her away from me, she could hit her head on a wall or any other thing or don't you think so? |
Ewuro4:Yea, I do not want that. I am against every form of abuse but I think you missed the part I wrote "the woman locks his shirt". In such a case, how do you think the man will get rid of the woman's grip on his shirt? |
Today, I learnt, brothers and sisters, it's okay for a woman to verbally abuse her man but wrong for that man to physically abuse the woman in retaliation. Lot of jokers on here. Quick question; what should be done when a woman verbally abuse her man, damages his phone and locks his shirt preventing him from "walking out like a perfect gentleman" just like some of you advised? |
