tommy589: Iran also understand this cessation is temporary. The war ended in stalemate and both sides want outright victory. Upgrade is happening on both sides with designs of new armaments to counter whatever each is bringing in the future If the war ends in stalemate, Isreal won't agree to ceasefire. Isreal got wiped, with some facts |

Most of us grew up hoping that after graduating from tertiary instutions, everything would fall in place but after schooling, reverse was the case. Is their alternative to Education? Not all Graduates are Educated!!! |

Romance › Re: Women, Do Not Underrate Your Men Because He Is Broke by tanigororo: 11:41am On Jul 19, 2025 |
Samantha125: Some women do try to be supportive towards their men, but what do these men do in return? they take their support and shove it back to their face... Their egos would not allow them to feel inferior.
Some would even go to the extent of borrowing their men their cars and giving them part of their salaries... Yet these ungrateful men would take the car, the money and pursue other women whom they deem inferior to them just so they could feel like they're in control of the situation... They'd look for someone whom they could use to massage their fragile egos... And when their women start talking, they'd get defensive, abusive, and start playing the victim card.
Now how can a woman show appreciation to such an ungrateful man? Most of you men are a piece of work when broke, hence most women don't want a broke man... I broke man is an insecured, depressed, and frustrated man... Only a few men are able to keep their emotions in check during that period.
I personally don't care if a man is rich or not... As long as he earns more than I do, then we're good. I am not disputing all of the above, should every man now pay for it, an eye for an eye will makes half of the world to go blind.
Some of us had it worse, our love was used against us, and we have been called fools for showing love, does that mean we should loose our humanity?
I have dated good girls and bad girls, the so tag bad girls has always been good to me while the good girls has showed me Shege promax. |
Romance › Re: Women, Do Not Underrate Your Men Because He Is Broke by tanigororo: 9:23pm On Jul 18, 2025 |
Samantha125: The problem is that some men tend to get insecured whenever a lady earns more than them or whenever the lady is the breadwinner while they're financially down.
They'll then start taking their insecurities and frustrations out on the woman, expecting her to take them with grace as if she's not a human and doesn't have feelings... They'll start being emotionally or even physically abusive, but play victims whenever a woman starts defending herself.
I personally don't ever wish to be with a broke man or a man who earns less than I do because God knows I value my peace... A broke man is a frustrated man, he'll always be looking for reasons to pick fights and last thing I want is to live a miserable life due to someone else's brokenness... That's why some women end up leaving, believe me when I say I wasn't their wish to pack up and leave, but these men kept maltreating and blaming them for their predicaments, pushing these ladies to finally make a bold decision to leave... Only few men are able to control their emotions when financially down. It's not about being insecure, it's the consequences of not being appreciated as a Man if he doesn't have money |

Crime › Re: My 55-inch TV Became 43-inch After Repair – Help Me, Nairaland! by tanigororo: 3:21am On Jul 18, 2025 |
Ola1759: Please I need advice urgently on this TV repair issue at Arena Market, Oshodi.
I gave my 55-inch TV to a technician who took it to Arena Market, Oshodi to fix the screen. When he got there, they charged ₦210,000, which was a bit above my budget. I told him to hold on while I raised the money. I wasn’t in a hurry because I had another TV I was using at home.
By April this year, I had the money ready, so I contacted him, got his account details, and paid the full ₦210,000. Since then, he kept delaying, saying they were still working on it. Then just last week (July), he said the TV was ready and brought it to me.
But what he brought was a 43-inch TV, not my 55-inch. I immediately raised concern. That’s when the repairer at Arena told him he had made a mistake — he had worked on and delivered someone else’s 43-inch TV, thinking it was mine, while my original 55-inch was still lying untouched in the store.
Now here’s where it gets worse:
He told me to hold on to the 43-inch TV for now. He said he would look for a buyer for the 43-inch screen, and once he sells it, I should bring it back so he can either refund me or we can renegotiate fixing my 55-inch — because, according to him, the cost is now higher than the ₦210,000 I already paid.
When I asked how long this would take, he said he can’t tell.
Honestly, I feel scammed and disrespected. I’ve been patient all along, but now I’m fed up. I don’t cheat people, and I can’t stand being cheated either.
Please house, is there any authority, market union, or consumer protection body I can report this to at Arena Market? I’m considering involving the police, but I want to get proper advice before reacting out of anger.
What’s the best step to take from here? Mistake 1 dumping your device with repair guys, never ever leave your device with repair people who is not established organisation over night, no documentation to proof or justify leaving it with them.
Mistake 2 agreeing to take the 45" home means consent because he might change the narrative that you agreed to accepting the 45" as replacement for the 55" he must have canniballize your tv for another tv who needs part your tv has.
Mistake 3 talking and acting like gentleman or being reasonable for unreasonable reason is not reasonable. Scatter everything first, be unreasonable then later settle with reason.
My conclusion here is that it's possible you will only get cash back with another bad tv, because agreeing to take the tv that's not yours has changed everything and it has put you in a odd position. |

Dating And Meet-up Zone › Re: I Feel In Love With A Hookup Babe by tanigororo: 8:03pm On Jul 16, 2025 |
DanAlpha: I met this girl last week on hookaas. She seemed very polite on text so i decided to book her. Her rate was way high but i tried negotiating for a fair amount. Unlike some babes that get angry when you try to negotiate or even stop responding, she was very polite. I was convinced she was the one i wanted to spend time with. When she got to my place, I made sure to entertain her very well. I even got her grapes to chew while we watched netflix. It was a wild and awesome experience, something i cannot forget easily. I know hookaas is public and anyone can have access to her, but i want her all to myself. I have been teasing her about leaving the platform and turning a new leaf, but she insists on the idea that i do not have enough money to take care of her and that she is actually the breadwinner in her family. Truely I do not. I have been trying to convince her to manage with me and it will not be long till i start earning a good living. I know that she is probably with someone else right now and it breaks my heart. I honestly do not know what to do or how to convince her to stop. If Your Mammy is still alive, confide in her |
