I see your.... but looking at it from another angle..... our contemporary musicians are simply responding to the demands of the people...... SHALLOWNESS EVERYWHERE...

true....i can relate... I tried bringing some change back then... when I was in school.... but unfortunately I met a very stiff opposition... infact almost the whole department was against me.......mediocrity everywhere.

True talk.... so much bad teachings In the body of Christ today...

1.) Heaven Is a place.

This is most widely taught truth in the body of Christ today. it is a place of perfection, peace, and rest. It is place of no sorrow, the very place where God rules from.

Hebrews 12:22-24 King James Version (KJV)
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

From the above scripture we can simply say heaven is the presence of God.



2.) Heaven is a spirit

Their is a spirit called "the spirit of heaven".
It is the same spirit responsible for creation.

Who is this spirit you may say?
He is called the HolyGhost, the very spirit of God himself. The same spirit responsible for the creation of the place called heaven. He is everything Heaven represents. And this same spirit of God dwells in hearts of the children of God.
Heaven is not just a place, heaven is a manifestation of this spirit. Every Child of God is an embodiment of the holyspirit. Your body is the dwelling of the spirit of heaven (the presence of God) waiting to manifest. In Luke 17 vs 21-22 it says

The kingdom of God doesn't come by observation, neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Every Child of God is carrier of the presence of God. We dwell in God and God dwells in us. Wherever God is, his presence is and wherever his presence is called heaven.
This is a revelations truth we must understand so that we walk in this reality.
Heaven is not just a place, Heaven dwells in God and We dwell in him and he dwells in us.

3.) Heaven is an experience.

2cor 5 v 17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

When we become born again, their is a change of experience from guilt, sin, sorrow, hopelessness, powerlessness to freedom, righteousness, joy, hope, love, power, wisdom, riches...

Their two types of Christians, the first are those who see the kingdom of God. These are the ones who got saved but does not fully enter into the realities of his/her change of experience in Christ as a result of ignorance or unbelief.
The second type are those who enter into the kingdom of God. These are Christians who are experiencing the realities of God's promises in Christ.

The scriptures make us to understand that we are now a NEW CREATION (we didn't exist outside salvation) the old is gone the new is here. We are no longer beneficiaries or partakers of the old order and it's problems.

We are now recreated in Christ Jesus and we are partakers of the benefits and blessings found in Christ.
In 1 John 3 v 14 it says...
We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Being born again is not the change of the sinful nature, being born again changes your spiritual plane of existence from the burden of sin and hell to the freedom, joy and peace found in Christ Jesus (heaven).

It will be an abuse of redemption for a born again child of God to only get saved and not experience the realities of HEAVEN ON EARTH.
