Who's the raunchiest? cheesy So i can read some lol.
Do you read Elizabeth Lowell? I liked her books on the Donovan Clan.  All that thing about gems was fascinating. What about Rebecca Brandewyne? She has some raunchy books

Ughh betty neels lipsrsealed grin
I've read Elizabeth Lowell (and some of her Donovan series). I like her a lot too!

As for raunchy reads, I hadn't heard of Rebecca Brandewyne so I just checked her out and na wa o. . . I'm intrigued. She seems suitably melodramatic. I may likey. I'll try her out sometime if I can find her stuff and report. Any specific title of hers, you recommend I start with?

I could recommend romances that would burn your eyes out of the sockets, but I'll keep it somewhat in line with Lisa Kleypas. In Kleypas' regency romance sub-genre I think Gaelen Foley is as raunchy as Lisa Kleypas, Nicole Jordan, Sabrina Jeffries and Virginia Henley are much, much, much more so. The list is too long if I include other romance sub-genres.

Leave Betty Neels alone! Hater!  tongue wink I still luv her!

Grave Surprise by Charlaine Harris (Harper Connelly #2)

(Contrary to what Ogaga4luv said before, I actually prefer Charlaine Harris' Aurora Teagarden series to the Harper Connelly one, but then again I also prefer Aurora T. to Sookie Stackhouse; so I guess different tastes and all).

Lol! Yes o! Not the raunchiest, but she's trying! I like her too. One of my faves in one of my favourite genres.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Steig Larsson
I can't say enough good things about this trilogy. I'll try to stop because I've already like gone on about it ad nauseum on this thread. But it's great, nohuh Told you so!

As for the movie, in a way, I want to see it, but the idea and the images of it I have in my mind would be completely ruined, but I still want to see another person's vision of it. And the movie is Swedish, no, my impression of their movies are that they're like kind of dour and dark and very understated with storytelling (which can come across as slow and kind of boring). I dunno sha. Maybe I'll give it a go sometime.

I have quite a few all-time favourite songs but the 4 that readily come to mind that I never get tired of, no matter my mood or how many times I hear them, are:

1.) Toxic- Britney Spears
2.) Forever- Ben Harper
3.) Brighter Than Sunshine- Aqualung
4.) 360- Asa

Fashion/Clothing MarketRe: Who Sells Aveeno(positively Radiant) by Tatase(f): 11:57pm On May 29, 2010
Check HealthPlus Pharmacy (there's one in Ikeja, The Palms and Ikota Shopping Center), I know they have the Aveeno Positively Radiant face moisturizer and they have quite a good selection of Aveeno body lotions (I didn't check for this one specifically).

I think even in America, it's kind of rare, because I used the Body Wash and the face cream a while back (when I was in my Aveeno phase), but never noticed the body lotion. And I saw your topic on yesterday and asked a friend there to check for me in like 2 pharmacies and she didn't find it in either. However check HealthPlus, they may have it.
FashionRe: Which Would You Prefer, A Beaded Necklace Or A Gold Chain? by Tatase(f): 11:45pm On May 29, 2010
I usually wear a gold chain that I rarely take off because it has sentimental value. But i think it depends on what I'm wearing and the occasion.

A gold chain can go with everything, but if you have a really special beaded necklace (like one of the examples shown), it's not exactly inconspicuous and so you have to be conscious of what you're wearing it with, and it would be more for an occasion than for daily wear.

RomanceRe: Nairaland Relationship, How Far Do They Go by Tatase(f): 8:59pm On May 20, 2010
I think it's similar to a non-NL relationship because hopefully you'd have had real conversations (other than "you're hot," "you're skegzy," date me"wink first, so there's actually something to start a relationship on. I know an NL couple that were together a while and were really cute together, but broke up over reasons that had nothing to do with NL and could have happened however they met.

NL is a great place to meet people and find like and unlike minds; however, you actually have to do the real work of building a relationship and learning about the other person. You can't just like read someone's posts here and translate their NL-life to real life and based on that decide you want to date them.

Also people can be vastly different in real life than on NL. I was so shocked when I discovered one of my best friends' NL identity because she's the sweetest person in real life but a real beyotch on NL (goodness knows why). So again, your "NL relationship" has to be based on more than you NL personality and "NL life," I think the key to a long-term one is to take it farrrrrr away from NL, don't bring it here; if you're serious about it keep it in real life.

RomanceRe: Ladies: Can You Foot The Bill On A First Date? by Tatase(f): 2:54pm On May 17, 2010
If I asked the guy out (which I've never done), then I'd kind of expect to foot the bill. Or like in an emergency if the guy for some reason couldn't pay (rejected card or something), fine. Or if it's a guy I've been friends with for a while but its our first date, if he paid for the movie, I might say its my treat for a casual meal.

I always offer to split the bill, anyway, as I think it's only fair to do that, and although I wouldn't normally expect to pay the entire bill on the first date, I could (although it doesn't necessarily leave the best first impression of the guy).

RomanceRe: Can U Marry A Girl That Drink And Smoke? by Tatase(f): 10:16pm On May 15, 2010
OP do you mean "drinks" like the person is a big drinker (several beers/shots/cocktails most evenings)? And by "smokes," do you mean chain smoker vs. occasional social smoker?

As a girl, I wouldn't want to marry a big drinker (wine with dinner and the occasional beer is fine) or really any degree of smoker, but "drinks and smokes" is not an absolute, there are degrees which people might find tolerable.
RomanceRe: Somebody Just Slapped My Babe. by Tatase(f): 10:04pm On May 15, 2010
Someone once told me that if one guy slaps another guy's babe, and the guy doesn't react, then it means one of two things: either 1.) he's also been wanting to slap his babe , or 2.) he knows he can't take the other guy.

So really, in either of these two cases, there's really nothing for you to do. So just tell your gf sorry, and get something cold for her face. Sorry o.

RomanceRe: My Best Friend Is In Love Wit Someone He Only Communicate 2ru Fone by Tatase(f): 9:22pm On May 15, 2010
I think the word "love" is generally used too easily. But yes, I think its possible to be really attracted to someone without having met them in real life. Sometimes you can really get to know someone over the phone or online in a way that you wouldn't in-person, because people tend to be more inhibited in expressing themselves in person.

Also, sometimes getting to know someone without meeting them, means your opinions about them are not skewed by physical things like their appearance. (BTW everyone deserves love whether "able or disable(d)"). E.g. guys "in love with" fine girls with nothing to offer but fineness, or girls "in love with" guys who look expensive but are mean. Of course, at some point you'd have to meet in person to see if they're the same in person as on the phone/IM.

(Finished the Aurora Teagarden series with Book 8 (Poppy Done to Death) and really really liked the series as a whole. If the others are apparently better as O4L said, they should be excellent! Decided to take a break from Charlaine Harris after 8 in a row).

@ topic,

Currently forcing my way through A Wallflower Christmas by Lisa Kleypas (finishing her Wallflower series which I've been re-reading this week), not because it's bad or anything, but I'm not really in the mood for historical romance right now and I don't really know what genre I'm feel like so I'm just sticking with it.
