Uti is doing ok so far, in my opinion. There are some things that he's said that weren't necessary but nothing too cringeworthy yet. Remember they could have brought back Bayo or Nkenna who are both a few steps tooo real for reality television. Plus, he really hangs with people and talks, just not in a loud, obnoxious way (yet). He's a cool guy so far. I prefer him now to last time. I feel really bad for Sammy. Yesterday he was talking about his non-existent love life since his first stint on the show and how there's a girl in his life but that he doesn't think SHE would say that HE's her boyfriend. I was just like awwwww!!! And then today he was having this really really boring conversation about how he goes to buy fresh water fish for his aquarium for hours and sometimes he gets home and almost all have died. I mean the story was going nowhere, but it was still pretty sad. I'll throw one or two pity votes his way, maybe. |
It's looking very much like we're going to face USA. Yay us!!! Not! We can sha do it. Sort of! I have faith! |
Overall we played well, but I'm not happy with the sloppiness in the 2nd half particularly towards the end. This is a good team and we're better than what we showed towards the end. Anyway on to the quarter finals! |
Ok we're through. 1-1 final score! |
Unfortunately, it is quite true they equalized. 1 minute left. |
^ if we draw, no matter what happens in the other match, we're through. However, holding out for a draw is the quikest way to be under pressure defensively and thus to concede. |
Our defender was watching football and let the Mexican girl take a shot. Sighs. . . 1-1 As it stands we're still through. But second. But who wants to settle for a draw?! This isn't the SE, come on girls! |
They've equalized. |
^ it's not that it would be easy but at this point no one is really easy. The Switzerlands of the tournament have long fallen out of contention. I've edited my comment so see my thinking. And no I wasn't the one complaining thy they were tired. I was the one saying they should step things up. That's how world cups are, they're that taxing so all this tiredness and rest talk I'm not usually a proponent of it. |
We fear no foe o!!! I mean obviously playing the US would not be ideal but we're looking good and they on the other hand haven't been looking that wonderful so far this tournament. And South Korea is also pretty strong too. Maybe if Switzerland lose properly again like they've been doing, we'll get Ghana. |
I'm fine o. . . And u? How've you been? |
I agree! These girls are really good!!! The SE could really learn something. However the passes are getting really sloppy! And it's annoyin because they were so tight before with their passing. And also, it would be good if people would start taking shots when they get into position. The coach is speaking pidgin- I distinctly saw him say "abeg com dis side." |
Nigeria is kind of in cruise control but I wish they'd step on the accelerator a bit and score one or two more goals to give themselves a cushion. |
I agree with Oyinda. I think you may be washing your face too much and that might be aggravating your pimple issues. 2ce a day is usually more than enough, otherwise your skin gets irritated and produces more oil under the skin which clogs ur pores and traps dirt and gives pimples. As for your question about powder, if it's regular powder, not the SPF kind or anything, my understanding is that it's supposed to give ur face a smoother finish by eliminating oil (and shine) which usually emphasize blemishes and imperfections and kind of masking your pores and reducing the appearance of spots (particularly if it's tinted powder). |
tkb417: Although to be fair, I was a ban supporter o. The super eagles killed national football dead for me. I swore left, right and center that I'd never watch us play again and yet here I am again. I'll admit that I was wrong sha and it would have been really unfair to steal these girls' chance because of those spoiled idiots. |
@ jasine, If u can't watch on supersport, u can try sopcast or tvu. I checked and u can try these links of u have sopcast or whatever: http://myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=81683&part=sports Hopefully at least one will work. Unfortunately I'm going to have to follow the live text of the match and watch the live match later because my office is Nazi-strict about blocking non-work stuff on computers. Yay mobile Internet! |
Atarodo. . . Tee hee! A for originality on that! jk.Anyway, the girls are looking good hopefuly they can keep it together and restore our faith in national level football. |
A draw is enough for us to make it to the next round but I really think we can win this! Let's go ladies!!!! |

This is not surprising news at all. Hopefully, these girls will at least get their money, paltry though it may be. Remember the Falcons in 2004 in South Africa who had to protest and make a big thing because they were not paid any of their promised match bonuses or camp fees despite winning the African Women's Championship? And then the NFA and officials were making it about the honour of playing for your country. Ehn, how come when the Super Eagles are playing N1 billion can easily be spent and talk of honour is forgotten by all but the fans. And the thing is, I realize that women's football is not a huge money-spinner in general, but still some things are just unfair. Of course 1 billion is excessive, but the difference between a N75,000 match bonus if you win (what these girls are getting) and a N4.5 million (what SE were promised) is tooo much and wayyyy more than the difference between the two teams. My hope for these girls is that all of them can find good clubs or university teams (abroad) that will sign them and develop their talent, and/or train them in a field, so that they can be successful in professional football or whatever other path they choose AND more importantly have some real support for their careers. |

tayo_ast:They closed since, that's if they were even there at all today sef. I tried to call like when the show started (on MN-West) and i realized the BBA channel was still scrambled and they had closed by then. It's so annoying because I texted "Yes" ages ago. |
I don't really use heat on my hair anymore but when I did, I tried Tresemme Heat tamer spray and Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum (which were both just ok, IMO) but mostly used Nexxus Heat Protexx which I thought was really good (I suck at doing my hair but even a hairstylistically-challenged person like myself managed to get nice, healthy-looking results with the Nexxus). I've heard people rave about Fantasia IC Heat Protector too, though I haven't used it myself. |
makajibbz:These are trouser jeans.
|
I don't like skinny jeans at all. Straight or Baggy, I'm meh about, wouldn't consciously buy either. Trouser (-cut) jeans are my absolute favourites and are the kind I normally wear. Second favourite would be bell bottom jeans (and I don't mean flares or bootcut, I mean proper 70s bell bottomed ones, love them!) |
