Romance / Re: Can One Actually Find A Good Girl In The Club? by tayolumi(f): 12:19am On Jan 05, 2011
No but it might bring out the good side of the someon that you wouldn't see in that person in a club. . .
Romance / Re: Can One Actually Find A Good Girl In The Club? by tayolumi(f): 12:03am On Jan 05, 2011
If you're looking for a good girl you should rather go to church! The girls at the club might be good but they might just want to get wild on that evening!
I dance like a stripper on a regular basis but when you see me at church shocked! oh my, you won't believe it's the same girl!
Romance / Re: What Physical Features Turn You Off In Men? by tayolumi(f): 12:55am On Dec 28, 2010
Haha! This thread is hilarious!
I don't think it's only we women who are so shallow about this.

But seriously guys, if you had to choose you'd also take the one who has the perfect proportion and isn't taller than you and all that stuff!
And yes, I'm more likely to go for a guy who is tall, dark skinned, has perfect teeth and all that.
Romance / Re: Ladies! I Have A Question For You! by tayolumi(f): 2:14am On Dec 25, 2010

Romance / Re: Why Do You Want To Get Married? by tayolumi(f): 1:27pm On Dec 22, 2010
Because human beings were not created to be alone, which is why God also created Adam and Eve so they'll have companionship and won't be lonely!
Sex and all that is just to spice it up!
Romance / Re: Would You Marry Someone Below Your Status?: Vote by tayolumi(f): 3:30pm On Dec 15, 2010
Let me give ya'll an example:

A fourth year attorney at a very succesful Chicaga law firm who is doing extremely well. She's on her way to become a partner.
A guy wants to date her, just got out of university, didn't have a job, had a car with a hole in it, had no money.
Whereas she's a very succesful lawyer practicing in her hometown where she has incredible relationships and he's not from the town and knows nobody there.
But she saw so much potential in him that when they were married, she was the primary breadwinner in the family for the first 10 years

Today, that man is the president of the United States of America and she is the First Lady.

Get it?

I honestly am also a sucker for brainiacs! Not a must but def an advantage.
Besides I think a mechanic or a "blue man" can also be very smart, just might have never made it to university out of whatever reasons.
Either his family simply didn't have enough money to send him there or he's been troubled by an ogbanje spirit tongue
But I do believe one should just follow God's direction and it'll all work out to the best.
Music/Radio / Re: Bez Idakula by tayolumi(f): 11:16pm On Dec 07, 2010
Don't know much of his songs but I'm so in love with the few!
His sound is definitely a change to all the other Nigerian artists!

Just saw his performance with Casey at glo naija sings and I love the song!
Celebrities / Re: Most Handsome White Men/Boys by tayolumi(f): 1:41pm On Dec 06, 2010
Josh Hartnett
Romance / Re: Can U Tell Your Partner Your 'real' Income? by tayolumi(f): 1:21pm On Dec 06, 2010
I think men especially like fronting about it, especially naija girls who just out for cash.
But if you'Re living in a place like Germany, there's almost no way you can hide it from your spouse when you have to submit all your payslip stuff,
Religion / Re: Gay Church Opens In Igboland by tayolumi(f): 1:18pm On Dec 06, 2010
Especially in the African mentality being gy as an abomination
But what makes someone who is sleeping with someone of his sex different than some other person who kills or maybe a pastor in a "non-gay-church" who is eating all the offering money and all that.
As Jesus said in the bible, let those of you without sin step out first! Don't judge them just because they're gay but pray for them that the Lord will show them the right path!

That'S my own sha and I know many of you wouldn't agree but oh well,

Romance / Would You Date A Girl With Natural Hair? by tayolumi(f): 9:18pm On Nov 20, 2010
This is mainly for the men on this forum. I'm doing this survey for a blog about natural hair. With natural hair I don't just mean relaxed hair w/out weave but the kinky, not chemically straighthened hair.
I hope some of you can take their time to answer these questions honestly. You don't have to answer them all sha,  Ladies are also welcome to give their response!

1. If you had 2 exact same looking girls in front of you, would you rather date the girl with straight hair or the one with natural hair and why?

2. If your significant other were to go natural, would the texture of her hair affect your opinions on whether she should remain natural or not?(tightly coiled afro vs. curly hanging down hair)

3. Do you like or dislike when your significant other changes her hair style often (i.e. wigs, weaves, braids, flat ironed, wash & go)?

4. Do you think your companion should consider your opinion when making decisions about her hair? Why do you think women care about a man’s opinion when it relates to hair?

5. Who is your favorite natural celebrity?

Thanks in advance! grin

This is what I mean by natural!

[b]1. If you had 2 exact same looking girls in front of you, would you rather date the girl with straight hair or the one with natural hair and why?

2. How important is hair to overall attractiveness? Specifically, which styles (down vs. ponytail vs. bun vs. weave) and lengths?

3. Would you support your significant other if she decided to become natural?

4. If your significant other were to go natural, would the texture of her hair affect your opinions on whether she should remain natural or not?(tightly coiled afro vs. curly hanging down hair)

5. Do you like or dislike when your significant other changes her hair style often (i.e. wigs, weaves, braids, flat ironed, wash & go)?

6. Does the amount of time your significant other spends on her hair prove to be problematic?

7. Do you think your companion should consider your opinion when making decisions about her hair? Why do you think women care about a man’s opinion when it relates to hair?

8. How do you feel about satin sleeping bonnets or any type of hair scarf?

9. Does it matter to you whether your significant other’s hair is relaxed or not?

I never hnew there was something like this in Nigeria, From what I know, nigerians only see dogs as to guard their compound. When we had a dog everyone was always running away from it, even my dad!! poor dog, it actually just wanted tp play with us!
Family / Re: Woman Gives Birth To Snake In Umuahia by tayolumi(f): 2:09pm On Oct 29, 2010
The story contradicts itself and doesn't really make sense, how had the snaked been programmed into her body in the first place And how lond did she she think she was pregnant? Was it 9 months or ever since the snake had been put into her body?
A snake without head is definitely dead, ! Why then need to kill it
Celebrities / Re: Im Fed Up Of "White" Nollywood Actresses by tayolumi(f): 4:27pm On Oct 27, 2010

Celebrities / Re: Im Fed Up Of "White" Nollywood Actresses by tayolumi(f): 4:18pm On Oct 27, 2010
Good luck sha, ! But as said, posting your aspiration here isn't the best place, at least I don't know of any talent scounts who just look at a picture and give you an acting role! Even though I could imagine that in naija because they're crazy about oyinbos there!
What roles exactly do you think you can play? It'll get boring after a while if it'S just the role of a white girlfriend of some nigerian dude who comes to live with him there or whatever,
