Hi guys, congrats to those who got their visas already. my question goes to people who used the letter of sponsor. Is it possible to apply for the "verpflichtungserklärung" with the admission letter of one school and after getting it, use the letter for another school in another city? Is the name of the particular school written on the letter? |
Hello everyone, can someone please tell me how to get to the nipost at murtala Muhammed airport. Any suggestion is welcome. |
Hi guys, can someone in the UK who is an EU citizen stand as guarantor? I would normallly rummage through the thread but I need to respond to a willing sponsor as soon as possible. |
Just decided to chip this in -Germany needs 500,000 migrants yearly until atleast 2035 or 2050- http://rt.com/news/244873-germany-economy-immigrant-workforce/ |
You can do it, as long as you become focused. You can attempt the direction of changing your lifestyle to always be in favor of your education and set goals for yourself with strict time-limits. |
scofield03:Hmm...I'm in similar shoes, attempting to take the A2 exam head-on in march. It depends mostly on how much effort you put in for it to be sufficient. I would recommend "Easy German" on YouTube because you can follow translations in German and English at the same time and then the Goethe Mundliche prufungen on YouTube to know what you're up against in the oral section and you can get some audio and articles to practice with on the Goethe website, and don't forget your conjugations 'Ich spreche' Mein zwei Loffel. |
dolpaz:That means you have to pay 4,500 naira at the embassy whilst opening the blocked account in which you transfer 8000 Euro to. |

Clandestine60:Yes oooo! my people reading older pages is just like gaining the experience of all the veterans here. Also, staying updated is also important. Personally, I read every single page I might have missed on days I couldn't come here. For instance, there were some changes by the embassy which a whole lot of us lamented about around the ending of 2014. Without bursting your bubbles, things like -certification is no more free at the German embassy Yup! you now have to pay a token of 1,200 naira for the certification of your document, I think regardless of the number of sets. Also don't forget money is paid can't remember the amount in euros precisely, i think about 4,500 naira (depending on the value of the naira to euro) as you sign and submit the form during the opening of the blocked account at the embassy . Others can add to or subtract from this as seen fit. We shall all drink garri in Germo Alles in ordnung (all is well) |
Jona. has failed change please
|
OlaoChi:I think it is not a good idea since uni-assist usually claim they need about 4-6 weeks to process your document. In this case, you want them to do it in less than a week before sending it to the school I am assuming the fastest way which is also the most expensive way will only get to them on the 10th at best. Just my thoughts though. Ende gut, alles gut. (All is well that ends well) ![]() |
At first I was unsure when I saw the running mate of Buhari but I was really impressed when I heard Osinbadejo speak, logically coherent. Unlike our current vice president Sambo very passive and ineffective. Please vote for change ooo.

Clandestine60:The movement is mostly anti-Islam and has been condemned as racist and xenophobic although had as many 17000 people marching in Dresden just before Christmas. femo86:Are you going for Msc or Bsc ? I think naijaobi was referring to Msc programs in which there is a possibility only in a handful of schools. |
Eke40seven:Wtf! ![]() |
XketchDesigns:I got a mail regarding my recent winter application about 5 days ago where it was explicitly stated, kunlelikeme who is in Kleve also confirmed it here 2-3 pages away. They will definitely update their site in due time before application begins around the end of March. |
hollaytan:Hoping to study Material science or Engineering courses -Bsc. It is an ultimate search getting an English taught program. Need help from those who went through or are currently at the Goethe institute, I plan on writing the A2 level exam as an external student and would like to know how often or when this takes place. The last A2 exam was concluded recently, I think this december and waiting till November 2015 to register is not an option. I have been unable to find the info on their website and haven't gotten a response to the email I sent 3 weeks ago . I would also appreciate if those currently there can help me find out this info. |
XketchDesigns:Most summer admissions have Jan 15 as their closing date. Time is almost up for summer application although a number of schools vary. Throughout my search for schools, I have been avoiding uni-assist due to cost and stress, rhinewaal was my lifeline and they just joined uniassist . There is god oooo. The search continues... |
pamraider1: You already applied for winter? You dey vex ooo More so, did you apply directly for TUM? because they use Uni-assist for international students according to their website. |
madridista01:Mr Sharp guy, to give you E-slap just dey hungry me. I was referring to the school and not the embassy. Will a school process an application with a different application form? Also, if certified at the embassy everything will be bound together so it is the certified copy that you must use in application. *in-between, "non sentimental" is the wrong choice of word in this context as it does not relate to being sensible so learn the meaning of the word before using it. Also, this is derogatory because I strongly disapprove of your move and I'm not willing to sugar-coat it* @all help me explain to this fellow. You claim "noted" regarding the application number and still say you see nothing wrong with your plan, even if all the schools in Germany use the same app.form, do you plan on feigning application number? You obviously have alot to learn so just read this thread and do yourself a favour. |
atrapon:To be on the safest side why don't you just do the Toefl or Ielts? If application is for winter then there is plenty of time. |
madridista01:ROTFLMFAO (rolling on the floor laughing my f*cking *ss out)....like seriously? You better calm down and do things appropriately. You have been told that there are no exceptions and came with this one again. You've given a not too good impression of yourself and I advise you desist from any such ruse as you will only end up shooting yourself on the foot. That being said, HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF THE TERM APPLICATION NUMBER? If you have'nt, it is generated automatically after you have applied online and this number will be printed out on your application form. Also if the application is not out, how do you know the type of application form they use. If different do you think your files will be treated with a different application form? OYO This will only be viewed as a 'Nigerian Shenanigan' My advice is that you stay where you are and certify for schools that have started application at rotary clubs or highcourt and then do the rest later as soon as they start. We all know that Germans are organized on another level. Please familiarize yourself with this thread and try sticking with rules when dealing with this people. Your plan holds only dirty water.Gemeinsam wir sind stark. |
hollaytan:Frankly, I usually prefer not to respond to 'already chewed meat' meaning question that have already been dealt with previously but the thread has been a lil' boring lately so responding is not a bad idea for now (no offence) and Not like I encourage spoon feeding but most of the questions you will ever have to ask are somewhere on this thread. Anyway my answer was 'yes' i.e what else are you certifying if not copies *and in-between, 'dutch is obsolete for German as it now pertains to Netherland while 'deutsch' pertains to Germany* ![]() |
hollaytan:Ja, natürlich. @all if you're learning German at home like me and you have good internet access, I would advice you watch "Easy German" videos on you-tube. Interviewing people on German streets in different cities with subtitles in German and English so you can follow the conversations both ways. Their videos are really cool. We shall all drink garri in Germo one day. |
hollaytan:Lol ...that was his job to tell you, though you sound like he was unfriendly, typical naija drills anyways it is on mon, Tue and wed before 12pm except they changed it. You will be asked to drop your documents ,leave the premise and come back to pick it up by 12:00 pm. Mein zwei Löffel |
NAIJA HAS A SAY! Opinion submitted by Naij.com : “In 1985, IBB was the president of Nigeria. Our teachers told us that Buhari was the former Head of state. Our teachers also called us "the leaders of tomorrow". “27 years later, IBB and Buhari are still contesting for the Presidency. It’s either our teachers lied to us, or tomorrow is yet to come. Who's fooling who? “In 1983, Bamanga Tukur was the Governor of the defunct Gongola State (now Adamawa & Taraba). 30 years later, he is the Chairman of the ruling PDP party. “Dr. Bello Halliru was commissioner in the Old Sokoto State (now Sokoto, Kebbi & Zamfara). 33 years later, he is Minister of Defence. “Major General David Mark (rtd) was the military governor of Niger State in 1984. 28years later, he is the Senate President.
