You did not hear about the budget padding in the national assembly, the padded amount will take most active workers in either private or public two life times to make it, but someone pocket that amount under a month. Those that created the system exists outside the system, whatever you do either legal or illegal, make sure you get the right kind of result, otherwise you no try at all. Results crowns effort, until then, nobody send you

I really don't understand how people don't understand that it's ignorance to generalize an observation derived from interacting with a set of people.

Those people you are referring to are probably thugs in the area, no one (tribe excluded) that has something going for them would raise their hand to praise others all in the name of whatever you could give them that won't help their life in the long run.

Youruba people!!!!!, really?, that's the best your intellect could do for you. You speak like there are no thugs in other parts of the country

Most Africans(Nigerians) are innately stubborn people. The only reason they are taking this route is not because they are stupid but the leaders are irrationally greedy.

They are well aware of what needs to be done but refuse to do it mainly because they want to show who's superior because nothing (except themselves) stops them from fixing doctors and nurses renumeration and improve the working conditions.

It's almost as if they feel threatened by the fact that a citizen might earn well and thereby live well.

If this story is true then you've tried for him by giving him the link to apply for jobs.

However, even though you owe him nothing and he's not the owner of your funds, you could have tried helping him further.

This country hard no be small, I can't count interviews I've gone for and none materialised. I don't even apply anymore because the money for transport is not even funny.

For recruiters that are here and will probably see this please that phrase you guys love so much which is "WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU", abeg if you know the person is not qualified from the questions you asked or the assessment just tell the candidates and try to state the reason why he wasn't chosen. That phrase tends to give candidates hope and most recruiters won't even bother reaching out regardless of the outcome, it's not encouraging at all. Everyone is trying their best not to become a criminal.

In all humility and with due respect to everyone saying he should leave her to be a single mum "UNA DEY MAD"

Back to the person (if this is true), you bleeped up mainly because you knew deep down you were not ready but you could not rise above the fleeting pleasure, now it's time to act accordingly.

The child is innocent, and did not ask to be conceived, every child needs the presence of both parents in their life (for the sanity of the society), it does not matter how you're financially, if you do decide to birth that child, make sure you stick around "NO MATTRR WHAT".

To every potential person about to be in his shoe, stop fucking the woman if you know you can't or don't have plans for the child. You'll are just birthing touts and aristos for bleep sake.

For the sake of your legacy, please do what you have to do(as a guy) inorder to afford your kids a life where they can actually make choices(only few will understand this paragraph)

Why am I saying this? 27 year old Mohbad got N300,000,000 as royalties from music he did in Marlian records.

Now before you attack me I'm an undergraduate studying a very good professional course.

Romance / Re: Thank God I Dropped Out Of University Scam by Tb19(m): 8:22pm On Nov 25, 2023
To the scholars and grammarians in the house, the topic was about education in Nigeria not around the world.

Education is good for an individual's mind at the least, but look at the numbers of graduates per year and ask yourself what we are really doing in this country.

There's no form of regulation regarding the number of tertiary institutions, it's like they just keep increasing.

If this problem persists, this society is setting itself up for harm, imagine over a thousand refined mind that can't find where to channel what they've learnt and they need to live their life.

Before you say they should start business, how many businesses can they all engage in with this deteriorating economy, it'll be too chaotic that's if they can even get the capital for it.

And you might also say they should find something doing, social vices is also doing something, and taking into consideration that those that'll engage in it are those that have had access to higher learning, the results of the vices they'll be engaging in will be almost flawless.

If the economy does not improve, morals can only go so far because everyone to some degree will like their little effort to provide results and if it does not or takes time, it leads to frustration which in turn pushes the individual's back against the wall. Humans are capable of unbelievable horrors when they are boxed in, horrors they never thought they had the capacity to carry out.

Also this grade that seemingly determines the usefulness of a graduate's certificate (first class, second class upper), the society praises the first two and abandon the rest because their results say they are useless but you forget they pay the same fee as those you praise. However, they got the results they had and they are also expected to make something if themselves.

And before you say they did not work hard or whatever, please in a department level of 100 students, when they graduate, have you witnessed close to 50,60,70,80 or 90 graduating with first class and second class upper. I haven't noticed it in case you have.

What most people do not want to think about is that everything affects everything, the section of the population that was tagged useless due to their results have to make a living, so when they are rejected by society or corporation, ask yourself, where do you expect they'll turn to

You might say it's not your business but it's in the long run because there will be a difference between a crime carried out by an illiterate and a literate regardless of what the result says. Do you think it's the halves not that'll get robbed, Of course not, it's you that the society applauded and accepted for doing well that'll get robbed and if you try to fight, you get injured or worst killed which renders your years of turmoil useless.

So to those in tertiary institutions that likes covering books during exams or won't answer when asked a question, it's better you have a rethink, I'm not saying you encourage people's laziness buy try to bring people along while you're succeeding, help them, you might just be saving a soul that will get killed if they fail out.

If people keep getting the door shut in their faces everywhere they turn, most will eventually turn to crime and they'll come for those doors again only this time they won't ask or knock, they'll just take and probably destroy which will affect those that keeps shutting the door.

In a nutshell, some courses in tertiary institutions should be axed or merged with others and there should be regulations regarding the number of tertiary institutions that can carry on in the country, I can't even count the number of tertiary institutions anymore and they all offer similar courses but the quality is different.
When something is easily accessible or too common, it loses value. And to those going to tertiary institutions, just engage yourself before going and THINK LONG AND HARD ABOUT THE COURSE YOU'LL CHOOSE SO AS NOT TO WASTE 4+ YEARS OF YOUR LIFE.

GreatAchiever1 post=No man should claim he has a conscience or moral principle when he hasn't been tested yet, a lot of people claiming self righteousness are hypocrites and even worst than those they tend to criticize:

This right here is the reason why some of you will claim good girls no dey again.

How can one even sit down to make fraud look like a reasonable option because of what the nation is turning into.

Country bad, country bad no mean say I go sell my conscience, what happened to principles, what happened to self-dignity? Then we come back to troll the politicians meanwhile there is no difference between us and them if we begin to have this mentality, just that we never taste that kind power.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Teaching Is The Worst Job In Nigeria by Tb19(m): 8:06pm On Nov 24, 2023
Hmmmmm OP you are very wrong. Real teachers are not so bothered. Teaching is actually a call and those that answered, have job sertisfaction . I can confirm because i answered that call for many years. The pay is not much but the joy is "mucher" (i hope you allowed my poetic licence)

They are not "bothered", and you wonder why the poverty level is not reducing. All I know is as a guy(man), if you settle for a teaching job in this country and luckily you got married and you were blessed with a daughter, you are done, you'll witness all you've done to structure your family fall apart when you daughter says she cannot marry someone like her father. You might say it's her choice but most daughters take their fathers as a role models and even look for some of their dad qualities in a potential suitor, but since you're not bothered. Please forgive my very greedy and ignorant ass

The quote "A Teacher reward is in heaven"is a punchline for you to get exploited by capitalism the more.

In all humility, who the Bleep told you all teachers will make heaven if there's in fact one

If you're in your 20s, deep down you know you can't amount to anything with that job in this country.

Take risk, do that fraud, the times where decency in how you earn might get you something or somewhere great is gone.

Critically look at the options to make money legally in this country and compare it to the population, then you'll realise that everyone cannot succeed legally.

So that your friend that did fraud but you did not join him or her because you thought there's something better somewhere, better swallow your pride and go back to him or her if they're still in the country anyway and like you enough to forgive and teach you.

The concept of right or wrong is relative to the circumstances in your environment, everyone won't have first class or second class upper, so what should others do, kill themselves

Do what you have to do then go legit, a time might come in this country or the world where only those that have money would be afforded rights

Most people that did fraud(yahoo yahoo) and other affiliated schemes would go on to live a very fulfilled life, don't be shocked when their kids or they themselves employ you, the hardworking citizens. E.g your politicians.

Get off your moral horse or moral high ground and observe the times you're in then act accordingly because times have changed.

Romance / Re: Africans Are Incapable Of Ruling Themselves by Tb19(m): 2:49pm On Nov 22, 2023
True due to a single reason in my opinion:

IRRATIONAL GREED.
Romance / Re: The Wasted Sperms Called Gen Z by Tb19(m): 2:07pm On Nov 22, 2023
This conversation needs to be structured:

The economy was better during the older generation times, it started degrading during ours even though someone from the older time were the leaders who happens to lack imagination and possess an irrational greed
Greed is a basic human instinct for survival but it's needs to be applied rationally

Secondly, the technology that has helped give this generation a sense of evolution was not created in this side of the world, it's more like a second colonisation only mentally this time not physically.

The education that has been made to be the bridge to higher standard of living hasn't been improved upon, so therefore it has become ineffective where most graduates are not even qualified for jobs anymore but universities, polytechnics keeps popping up. But the country keeps deteriorating, just look at the numbers of graduates per year and see how doomed they already are, even if they all start business which customers are they attending to.

Despite the illusion of evolution this generation claims, your country still export near to nothing but imports almost everything. Now, the whites are taking your heritage,i.e culture, languages, values, way of life, but this time they did it smartly by making you sell it to them so it seems like a fair exchange, they now learn your languages, your way of life while all this generation want to do is live like the whites whereas they are curious with what you have.

Poor governance has made leaving the country seem like an achievement, you develop their country while your home keeps getting destroyed.

With the continuous lack of proper planning and vision by whoever is leading, education is becoming useless except to refine the mind of the graduates, aside that, the numbers do not make sense.

Cyber crime has become the salvation of so many families and the minimum wage is still #30k with unbelievable levels of inflation and you dare say this generation has advanced.

In my very humble opinion, Nigeria is selling her heritage/identify and it's only a matter of years before this country loses its culture because poor governance has made it sensible to sell everything that makes one African. Those that learnt the basic skills like furniture, tailor, e.t.c now live better better than the high and mighty graduates

On the issue of sex or homosexuality, it's true everyone can be with whomever they choose to be with but this mentality was also copied and if it's accepted over here, you need to ask yourself what else is next, brother and sisters getting married, son and mother, father and daughter, father and son, mother and daughter?, Or is it the animals we would get married to next.

Some of the morals, values of the older generation might not make sense but not all of them are useless and senseless. We choose to forsake them but before you do, take a look at the way the so called advanced generation live, father raising a bastard child, our precious ladies engaging in prostitution and so grateful for it or is it the moral degradation in secondary schools.

We claim to be advanced but Nigeria as a country can never attempt to wage war or defend itself against foreign attacks but we are so knowledgeable right Or you thinks it's those soldiers that helps in directing traffic that'll stand against a missile or atomic bomb.

Advancement is a conversation we should have but we won't because a lot of us are hypocrites, ME INCLUDED. Deep down most of us know we are just doing rubbish, absolute rubbish. But since we want to fake been advanced untill we actually become advance by praying to God alone and doing nothing toward it, then by all means let's keep deceiving ourselves till the African continent becomes a moral lesson in history classes because it has lost its identity as a continent.
