I know some people will come here to say rubbish about AlJazeera. This is one of the few truthful and unbiased news outlet remaining in this world. Aljazeera has never been known to spread propaganda and false news. Unlike CNN that openly apologised to the world for spreading fake news about beheaded babies, only God knows what else they've been lying about.

I doubt Tinubu knew how disastrous Buhari would be. An APC stalwart said glimpse of it flashed before their eyes when Buhari in his inauguration speech said "I belong to everyone, and I belong to no one." That statement apparently crushed Tinubu. Basically, Buhari would run the government the way he felt fit and owed no political debts to those who brought him to power. He waa going to sideline many who brought him to power or at least curb their influence.

He showed that by appointing Fashola as a super minister. Fashola had by now been Tinubu's arch foe, so it was a stab in the back.

Buhari's failure came back to haunt him. I am certain he did not want Tinubu, a politician with so much sleaze hanging over him to takeover. I'm sure his preference would have been his squeaky clean vice president. The currency redesign was solely for the purpose of frustrating cash rich politicians from buying their way to power.

I am sure if not Osinbajo, he might have preferred Peter Obi. Tinubu alleged the redesign policy specially targeted at him

However, Buhari couldn't nominate a candidate as he had lost all credibility. He gradually caved him to Tinubu's "emi lokan" speech. He allowed the political process take its course

The summary of all these, Tinubu made sacrifices for himself and for Buhari that ended up destroying Nigeria.

He did it because he wanted to be president.

After the Nigerian civil war, the federal government had a policy that all property held by the Igbo's in other lands prior to the war would be forfeited as abandoned property. Hence thousands of Igbo's were displaced from their properties.

2.How come the Igbo's are not going about bombing and kill children to reclaim their properties.

3. Charity begins at home so how come none of you who are fighting for the Palestine land claim is equally fighting for the Igbos to regain theirs. We don't even discuss it on Nairaland.
We are more invested in the Palestinians than in the Igbo's our country men.

4. Did you know that in the 1940s more then 800,000 Jews were displaced from their homes, land and properties in Morocco, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Syria and other Arab countries.
5. How come they are not going about bombing and killing people in these countries to reclaim their lands.

6. How come no one is fighting for these people? We don't even talk about it.
