Kobojunkie: Recall what I said of the Word of God being everlastingly guaranteed to be Truth? Well... yeah.. back to the topic
a. On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, Jesus Christ instructs His disciples to go prepare everything for the Passover meal - Matthew 26 vs 17 - 19 b. Jesus and His disciples have their Last Supper on the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread - Mark 14 vs 12 - 17 c. Jesus Christ instructed His disciples to go prepare the Passover meal for the group on the Day of Unleavened bread. - Luke 22 vs 7 - 13 d. It was almost time for the Jewish Passover Festival, that evening Jesus Christ came together for the mean with His followers - John 13 vs 1 - 3
Clearly, one of the accounts has to be wrong! The law of 2 or 3 witnesses applies only when God has not specified a Truth. In this case, We have God in Leviticus 23 vs 4 - 8 clearly explaining that Passover meals are to be eaten on Passover day, and we have Jesus Christ in Matthew 26 vs 1- 2 declaring that He would be arrested on Passover day. Obviously, you cannot overrule God's declaration by the accounts of witnesses. So, why do you hesitate?

Kobojunkie: What verse? a. On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, Jesus Christ instructs His disciples to go prepare everything for the Passover meal - Matthew 26 vs 17 - 19 b. what if both accounts are wrong or you never thought of that?
Kobojunkie: Well, then if God also doesn't exist, what are you here arguing about? You believe God doesn't exist? God existed before the bible or do you doubt that. What if Moses was wrong in Leviticus?
Kobojunkie: That law is meant to be used in establishing truth in a situation, is it not? If Truth already exists in a situation, would there be any need to establish a truth about that same situation?
Please read the verse, it says all truth no conditions given

Jesus never said the law occurs when there is no specified truth. In fact he said the opposite. From the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses would All Truth be established. Note emphasis on all truth.
Kobojunkie: According to whose law or rule? Yours or God's?
Here are simple questions for you to consider ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. It is sin against God to not eat Passover on Passover day. Matthew, Mark, and Luke's accounts have Jesus Christ eating Passover on a day that God had not chosen for it meaning Jesus Christ, God's Passover Lamb, sinned against God. Is this what you would have us believe instead?
2. Jesus Christ said He would be arrested on Passover, but Matthew, Mark, and Luke's accounts all have it that He was arrested the day after the day He prophesied it would happen, so did Jesus Christ lie?
3. Jesus Christ said He would be in the grave for 3 days, but the accounts by Matthew, Mark, and Luke, as a result of what seems an error, have Him in the grave for just 2 days, so did Jesus Christ lie?
You can't know what is a sin to God by reading the bible, what if that passage is wrong?
You do know that there is no way the accounts of all of the gospel writers can be considered without error in this? I mean it is obvious that there are mistakes in the reporting of the events. Are you going to play the path of ignorance in this like you probably have to with so many of the other errors in scripture?
My point is, if there are mistakes like you claim you would need to provide another source of Christian revelation. That is the only way using the bible to resolve belief issues can be relevant
Kobojunkie: I don't exist in the confused state that you do about these things so stop pretending your confusion is mine.
I didn't say John is right. Instead I said God and Jesus Christ are Truth meaning John's account which conforms to that said by God and Jesus is more correct.
Go back through the errors I clearly pointed out exist in scripture and let us know if you will blindly continue to follow them or abandon God entirely cause the book contains errors.
You did not point out any error. You claimed Matthew and the rest were wrong but John right. But you have no evidence. Even Jesus teaches that in the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses would every truth be established. 3 books saying the same thing are not wrong.
Kobojunkie: it isn't me you should know better. Instead, go back through the issues I pointed out in scripture so you realize that scripture is not this Holy inerrant fantasy you have been holding onto.
my point is you have no way of telling what is right or wrong. Infact the entire scripture could be wrong for all you know. To say John is right and Matthew is wrong makes you a terrible judge. You were not born when those records were written
I point out an error in scripture pretty much each time we debate, and you loose your hinges almost every time. This isn't about me but about you... thought you would have realized that by now.
This is the first time i noticed it. And I lost nothing, I only found it hypocritical
IgweOfNnewi: Pipe dream, if only Tinubu will receive 50% of Igbo land votes, you can't be tribalist and expect people not to checkmate you, cheap blackmail Will not work
People are not voting based on trabal base. We are all tired of APC. Even you a Yoruba did not enjoy the last 8 years. Doing the same thing and expecting a different result is called insanity
kkins25: Nope. Afterall, The jews never knew. Hence Jesus comment on the law of adultery when he said, "he who looks at a woman and lists over her...." If you knew God's standard, the path to heaven would be a vast and obvious road.. *winks*.
I guess I understand you a bit. You do not understand God's standard so you follow what is written in the bible to the best of your understanding
Kobojunkie: Again, credibility of a book is no issue for me where God is concerned. That issue is entirely all yours.
So what has been your problem? If you believe that the bible is a credible testament of God then you would be wrong to claim that there are falsehoods in it. There cant be falsehoods in a credible testament.
Kobojunkie: Your point is meaningless to me since you assume the book to have not been filled with falsehoods from its beginning - that the falsehoods were somehow not intended so or expected to begin with..
I never assumed anything. You made the claim of certain things in the bible are false. I am only wondering if you should be referring to the bible then.
kkins25: How do you know God's standard? Have you been to mountain Everest and spoken to God?
You only have one standard and it is that of men. Because, God never wrote any Bible, nor did he speak, or give laws.
Why is this true? Because, you omcannot know God more than what you read in the Bible. If indeed you do, tell me about God without quoting the Bible. hehehe. checkmate!
Kobojunkie: I don't argue anything about God based on the bible since it would be stupid to do that knowing what I know. Instead, when it comes to that which has to do with God, I consult that in fact attributed to God as written in scripture.
The scripture was written by men, so why consult it since you don't even see the writings as reliable or credible
Kobojunkie: The Book was written by humans in human language and meant for human consumption meaning it is expected to contain errors from its inception. I never said anything about credibility in regards to the book itself. That argument has been wholly yours.
If you are done derailing your own thread because you are confused and unable to wrap your mind around what I said of my approach to that presented in scripture, can we get back to the Topic then? The accounts provided by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John of the day Jesus Christ and His disciples ate the Last Supper do not correspond in any way or form meaning there is a clear error in the report. This also reveals that a day may have been lost in the accounts given by the writers as a result of the error.
Another key point I forgot to add to my list is that Jesus Christ, the one billed by the writers as the Passover Lamb of God could not have eaten Passover on any day order than the Passover day as that would have amounted to a sin against God on His part. That would have made Him a blemished lamb, and unacceptable as a Passover Lamb according to Exodus 12 decree by God.
So the claims made by Matthew, Mark, and Luke that the Last Supper took place on the First Day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread is in error.
you don't seem to understand the credibility issue you brought up. You made it clear that we can't rely or believe the words of the bible writers. That is the credibility issue. You made it clear that the records of these men can't be relied on. That mean they are not credible
Kobojunkie: I never said the book was compromised... you came up with that idea all by yourself.
You said it's not credible, it contains falsehood, how else do you want to put it. For something to be compromised means it has been infected, infiltrated or corrupted. You made me understand that the bible is corrupted with falsehood.
Kobojunkie: I asked you a question. Who is there to guarantee the credibility of the book called your bible since you obviously assume the book to be so?
Why qoute or believe some parts of a book that has no guarantee. What does that make you
