This was the aim, to turn igbo land to borno. The ESN is the government's excuse to invade our land.
Again we Igbos have played short sited politics. We hailed kanu and his group . Now the bullets are flying, turning our land into a war zone.

The army is about to run through igbo land. Many igbo believe ESN is a blessing but I see only sorrow, tears and blood.
It's the innocent that would suffer. Businesses would relocate. The eastern economy would collapse.
We igbos are found of making the wrong political move.
It's a big shame that a group as brilliant as ours continue to show political naivety.

You still have your head in the sand, what they have been asking is to vote and that is what is it.... But the truth is that many Igbo here in Maryland are in support of Biafra , many have started investing in East and slowing down their acquisition here

Nwanne bụrụ uche
Mụrụ anya ka azụ ...maka iti makwara
I am also in Lagos and there are critical decision I have taken and many Igbo have taken such

My friend build a massive hotel in Awka and he is building another one in Owerri...he said he ant build them in Lagos here ! A lot of guys are building residential blocks in Owerri and Awka as I am telling you...these are the intelligent Igbo not the nzuzu ones

I only have a two bed house here ...all my investment will be in East, I no fit shout....when it happens we move not we wail
oga let's have an official vote. Stop your guess work.
The wealthiest igbo men have most of their investment outside the southeast.
Chrome Group
Coscharis Group
Africa Capital Alliance
SLOK Holding
SEPLAT
Capital Oil
Atlas Oranto Petroleum
Next oil
Airpeace
These men have more than half their businesses outside igbo land. Mostly in lagos.
Ibeto oil has about the biggest tank farm in lagos.
I know you would claim to be more intelligent than these men. Maybe their heads are also in the sand.
Have you also noticed that hotel building is the main business in the east?
Let's face it, the east is a hard place to do business.
Again since you move with fellow IPOBIANS, it would always seem to you like every igbo is an IPOB.
You would hardly see people like me in your circle so you get to believe that you are a majority.
For now, I advise you stop bring the minister of statistics until you come out with clear numbers.
When you are able to give an accurate percentage of igbos that support IPOB, then we can talk

oga this your rant , I no get time, make I focus on more important thing...if Biafra comes, we in Lagos have two options, either to align with the narrative or apply for stay in Nigeria, by the way we have igbo in Ghana, Benin etc...but trut me, majority of Igbo will key into the new nation...be it Igbo in Lagos or any where..The igbo identify opportunity and new ones...so it is left for you to take a decision...abeg i no fit talk again till evening...this is productive hour
You just keep publishing falsehood. There has never been a time that we igbos have been called to vote on wether we want biafra or not.
If you claim majority of igbos want biafra, have you asked them why they have not moved their homes and businesses to igbos land? We don't just say anything. Carry out a vote first to find out who actually likes it.
Again the igbos nation is not a cult that takes away individual decision. It's finally left to me and you. Kalu wouldn't decide for us.
Before you start talking for all igbos, let's have a democratic process. Let's ask every igbo and let's count vote then you can talk about what igbos want. But before then you can't talk for igbos.
I understand many of you love nnamdi Kalu but the dude doesn't even have a single investment in the east. He is not a fool. He is a multimillionaire.

You have to align ...all of us are in Lagos though not all of us are stupid

So why don't you keep quiet and adopt to the realities
Wow, smart man. You openly call millions of igbos stupid because of their search for daily bread and self reliance.
Since you are not stupid like us, we would be coming to you to teach us where and how to invest our funds.
Let me give you some live examples.
2 years ago, I started investing in agriculture. The cheapest land I found in the east was above 100k a plot. I was able to get an acre of the same amount in ogun and oyo state. So as a biafra what would you advice.
Again I transported my goods from oyo state to awka.
I spend less that 2k to settle boys from the village in oyo up to agbor. Between onitsha and awka, I spent more than 5k to settle boys on the road, I am not talking of police.
So as a stupid man I decided for me it's more profitable to sell in lagos. Even though prices are higher in the east but I am more comfortable doing business in lagos.
I gave you these 2 example's to show you that tribal emotions have nothing to do with business. It's all about profit and loss.
We all do business where we would be more profitable. We all have families to feed.

Let's talk biafra for a minute, I read the comments of many biafra supporters. You tend to think that all igbos must support biafra and anyone that does not is a betrayal.
We igbos are a very intelligent and independent people. We do not fall into group thinking. We are able to think for ourselves.
I often ask the biafrans, what would be the advantage of a biafran republic or are we just creating a new nation for the sake of it?
Most of us were not born during the biafran war our parents fought. The only country we know is nigeria.
So why should every igbo support this biafra adventure.
I have nothing against you guys. Good luck with your adventure. But you have to remember that biafra or not, we are all igbos and that's what matters.
Not everyone would support you adventure. And don't expect everyone to.
Again you guys have been fighting for biafra for decades now. I remember MASSOB and now IPOB. If we tell ourselves the truth, it's all games. Nothing has changed. In the words of Tupac, I see no changes.
Next 50 years you would still be fighting for biafra.

Are You are among the idiotic Igbo that built massively in Lagos....find a way to sell off them now

And stop ranting online. Ana akọ bullshiit
Talk is cheap. You are angry with another man for buying property with his own money. Are you a dictator. That's the problem with you biafra kids you expect everyone to reason and act like you.
We igbos are free minded people. Go and read your history, igbos democracy is one of the oldest in the world.
We don't need your king nnamdi kalu to teach us where to build our houses or invest our business.
Funny thing, nnamdi kalu is well invested in UK and even has a British passport and you feel you have the moral rights to tell or command any igbo. You want to teach us where to do business.
I wonder the kind of biafra you would build with kalu as your dictator.
The reason why igbos economy grew was because we were able to spread very quickly across Nigeria after the war.
One more thing, I noticed that you biafra guys are very insulting, it's as if the worst of igboland came together for this biafra business.

Stop giving excuses, it's people that create opportunities...well a
I agree with you over emotions....the most sensible thing the South East Igbo want is their country, we in Lagos can either stay in Lagos or relocate
By the way we have Nigerians in Ghana

When they wanted to create Isreal, many Jews in the UK and USA asked this questions and they were against it. The Jews are far far richer than Igbo .. I am in Lagos also and I have my own company and planning to open another IT firm this year also

But let me tell you,the Jews went ahead in 1945 found Isreal and today the country is developed

Those Jews that were against the creation of Isreal like you ...some relocated and started afresh while some ploughed back their capital! Some stayed back that is why we have Russian Jews, American Jews , British Jews today ...

These are the folks that stayed back but they have automatic visa to Isreal and their invest also in Isreal ....Facebook is a Jew, google is a Jew, Motorola js a Jew and many more...they are not based in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv

So your case is even small.. the greater population of Igbo decides ,we have no choice than to align or be left ...I am also in the same Lagos . I have my own firm, but I can start all over in a new slate, I would see opportunities

So my dear, we Igbo in Lagos will need stop the East from moving, we were just being stupid in Lagos...go to Mile 2 to Amuwo and all the way to Iyana isashi to Alaba Rago and see Igbo stupidity

.we can't use our Lagos Igbo stupidity to stop the East from moving forward and many Igbo in east are doing fantastic more than the guys in Lagos and Abuja....go to east and see businesses and investment springing up...while we in Lagos are in rat race having owoda people to contend with

Oga your argument is watery .. we must blame ourselves for our stupidity... For years I have been warning them , Aku ruo uno
First you assume that being an igbo, you must see a need for biafra. Well, I dont. Next you compare the creation of biafra to that of Israel. That again is very faulty.
In 1948, the Jewish nation was supported by USA and UK hence the Jews in this country found it very easy to move, their property and businesses were not disturbed.
Here I have seen a powerful yoruba man tell me to my face, "if you guys create biafra, we would claim all your properties here."
Then you mentioned Ghana. Are you aware of how igbo businesses areally being treated in Ghana? The igbo have more to loss than any other tribe.
Now you made a big mistake in saying goes that the igbos moved to lags out of stupidity. You are 100% wrong. We moved to lagos, kano and other cities in search of opportunity.
If we found such opportunity in igbo land, we would not have moved to lagos.
Many of us left our village to lagos because we did not have such opportunities in our villages.
No body is in lagos because lagos is too fine. We are all here because of the ease of doing business and the infrastructure.
Still talking about the jews, I see you love to compare us with the jews. Did you know that the population of jews in USA is very close to that of jews in Israel.
The jews were smart not to burn that bridge. They did not all return to Isreal. Much of the money that was used in building Israel came from jews in USA.
If we leave Nigeria today, we would loss all we have. The yoruba and hausa wouldn't be so kind to return our property.
Again, you claim that majority of igbos support biafra, my brother I am not sure we ever had an election.
We do not know how many igbos support biafra and how many dont.
Finally, creating a new country is just the first stage. Just look at south sudan.
As a new country we would face new challenges. New problems. It wouldn't be milk and honey.

Igboid:
Igbos are individualistic yet we seem to act in unison even in our individual mindsets, because a typical Igbo puts the interest of Igboland ahead of selfish ones.

You are very selfish person who puts your own interests ahead of those Igboland.
No one forced you to invest in the North and Yorubaland or Igbophobic parts of SS.

Ndiigbo have been preaching the message of for the past decade but greedy and selfish ones among us who are more interested in ROI than in building Igboland have continued to invest heavily in the North and SW and then you wish the rest of us would stay in Nigeria so that your investments up there would be presevered?

You are a joker. You and your ilks have but one vote and are in minute minority. You can have you say , but the rest of Igbos not driven by selfish agenda want Biafra and we would have our way in the end.

If you know what is good for, better start investing in Igboland today, so that when all those things you have in SW and North and Igbophobic SS goes up in smoke, you can have something to rely on.

I'm currently not in Igboland too, but I'm investing in Igboland for rainy days. No one else would develop Igboland but Ndiigbo.
Rather than hating on your people for seeking for Biafra, better start investing home so that you would not be blackmailed into being na enemy of your people by the people you made investments in their lands.

Mulu ako.
I want to see you as a reasonable person so I would respond.
You spoke about the interest of the igbo nation so let's talk about it.
Lago's alone has a greater igbo population than any southeastern state so clearly lagos is part of the igbo interest and so with other states that have igbo business and property.
We cannot begin a new nation in poverty.
Then you called me selfish because I am not interested in losing my property to biafra. Well I rather be selfish than openly embrace poverty. We igbos detest porverty. It's not worth it.
Then you accused me and millions of other igbo of not investing in igbo land.
Let me take it that you know very little about business and investments. Only a fool chooses emotions over common sense in business. Business is all about opportunity. I found my opportunity in lagos and not in my village.
I would not just establish a business for the sake of it. My first reason for starting a business is profit. Lagos provided that for me.
Do you really expect me to leave my business relationships, my customers and the ground I have created here to start all over in Aba or Onitsha? How stupid would I be. Of course, if my business grows and spreads to the east I would be the happiest man on earth. But we don't force business, we grow business.
Also I built my house so I don't keep paying rent and I also have tenants. My house in the east fetches me no rent. I stay there less than 2 week each year.
I recently bought land in ogun state 4 agriculture at 100k an acre. You would never see such a deal in any part of the east.
Look you don't force people to invest. If the east is good for my business, naturally I would come there.
Lastly, you said I hate my people but there again you are wrong. I don't want my people to loss their wealth. I don't want millions to return to the village and die of hunger.
Where would they start from?
You are lucky, you have your business in the east. But you don't care about the tens of millions that don't and you claim to love your people.
I responded to you because I want you to be honest with yourself. If you can answer this simple question... what would happen to the tens of millions of igbo's all over Nigeria. Again, are you ready for a second biafra war? Because I am not that brave. I rather continue peacefully with my small business in lagos and raise my kids in a good school here.
Note.. the Niger delta is not really crazy about biafra. Remember what happened in Port Harcourt after the last war. They were the first to claim igbo property.
Learn from history.

The south east, the most peaceful region in the country has been flooded with military build up as if there is something they want to do which we don't know of.

This military build up has led to several unnecessary confrontation and clashes with innocent civilians going about their peaceful activities. Every kilometer in the region is manned by jobless military people who are openly collecting monies from motorists without any iota of Shame.

The mind of the people of the south east has since left Nigeria, nobody apart from the political leaders from the south east believes in Nigeria. They all trust and believe Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra.
Talk for yourself not for every igbo man. We the igbo have been very individualistic from time. Every man thinks and decides for himself so speak for yourself. Many of us live all over Nigeria. We own businesses and property in Yoruba and hausa land. I am not crazy about the biafra thing. My father fought in the war and I am not prepared for another war.
I see nothing good in nnamdi kalu and his army of thugs.
These guys are making the east more unsafe. Do I believe in one Nigeria? I really don't care but I care about my business and my safety. I don't want a war and I don't want to lose everything I have worked for over the years.

Are your assumptions based on antecedents in Qatar or just wild guessing?

Hosting the World Cup isn’t entirely profit-driven just like having a national team and paying the players, the gains are deeper than short-term financial gains.

Qatar even without hosting the World Cup is a major tourist destination, you’ll be surprised that the stadiums and hotels would sell out long after the games are over. Wait till after the event before you judge.

I think FIFA also supports host nations monetarily but in all I believe they’ll be better for it
What I wrote is based on precedence. Brazil is a much bigger tourist location than Qatar yet the world cup in Brazil was a financial loss.
London is one of the most visited city's yet the London Olympics also cost more than the revenue.
After the even, the host is left with ghost cities. Are you implying that Qatar is doing something different than these other places?
Let's not forget Sochi Olympics that cost the Russians over $30 billion. Today, Sochi is a ghost town.
And finally, our own all African games in Abuja.
The beloved Abuja stadium has barely been used since then.
