Politicians and priest are at it again. Go through history, whenever these 2 come together, the people suffer. |
membranus:I never asked for it. |
djsjxjfjdisjdjb:Whatever makes you sleep at night. Luke 14.28-32. You keep lossin every single battle. |
This was the aim, to turn igbo land to borno. The ESN is the government's excuse to invade our land. Again we Igbos have played short sited politics. We hailed kanu and his group . Now the bullets are flying, turning our land into a war zone. |
The army is about to run through igbo land. Many igbo believe ESN is a blessing but I see only sorrow, tears and blood. It's the innocent that would suffer. Businesses would relocate. The eastern economy would collapse. We igbos are found of making the wrong political move. It's a big shame that a group as brilliant as ours continue to show political naivety. |
saphiere:Madam, it's the other way round. Nigerian girls celebrate their birthdays as many times as possible as long as there is a sponsor. Japan dey learn work from una. |
Finestgal:U You are asking about side effect when the treatment has already began... |
ariesbull:lol.... I am just imagining the look on your face as you typed.... take care bro |
ariesbull:Lol.. I am beginning to enjoy you. Please don't take it personal. I love this exchange with you so that others can see that not all igbos are IPOB. We have igbos who are more interested in growing their businesses and taking care of their families than to lead their children to a future of uncertainty. Some of us would give everything to keep our children save and the IPOB stuff is not helping. When the trouble comes, na all of us go face am. |
ariesbull:oga let's have an official vote. Stop your guess work. The wealthiest igbo men have most of their investment outside the southeast. Chrome Group Coscharis Group Africa Capital Alliance SLOK Holding SEPLAT Capital Oil Atlas Oranto Petroleum Next oil Airpeace These men have more than half their businesses outside igbo land. Mostly in lagos. Ibeto oil has about the biggest tank farm in lagos. I know you would claim to be more intelligent than these men. Maybe their heads are also in the sand. Have you also noticed that hotel building is the main business in the east? Let's face it, the east is a hard place to do business. Again since you move with fellow IPOBIANS, it would always seem to you like every igbo is an IPOB. You would hardly see people like me in your circle so you get to believe that you are a majority. For now, I advise you stop bring the minister of statistics until you come out with clear numbers. When you are able to give an accurate percentage of igbos that support IPOB, then we can talk |
ariesbull:Now you are talking... let the igbos decide and not IPOB deciding for us. We the igbos would decide if we are ready to loss our property for biafra. We every Igbo is allowed to vote then we would understand what the igbos want until then, stop show some respect for all igbos even those that don't agree with you. We are not your enemy. |
ariesbull:I see you are hurt.. I never said anything to hurt you. Take it easy. I only laugh. You guys have been forming biafra since before I was born. My grandchildren would come and you would still be making the same noise. Una no dey tire? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. I wish you well. And stop quoting the jews. The state of Israel was created by the United nations. |
pepperdemzombie:Oga, we all would die. What she did was wrong but no matter what, we all would join her one day. Death is no big deal. Now she can rest from all her pain. |
ariesbull:You just keep publishing falsehood. There has never been a time that we igbos have been called to vote on wether we want biafra or not. If you claim majority of igbos want biafra, have you asked them why they have not moved their homes and businesses to igbos land? We don't just say anything. Carry out a vote first to find out who actually likes it. Again the igbos nation is not a cult that takes away individual decision. It's finally left to me and you. Kalu wouldn't decide for us. Before you start talking for all igbos, let's have a democratic process. Let's ask every igbo and let's count vote then you can talk about what igbos want. But before then you can't talk for igbos. I understand many of you love nnamdi Kalu but the dude doesn't even have a single investment in the east. He is not a fool. He is a multimillionaire. |
ariesbull:Wow, smart man. You openly call millions of igbos stupid because of their search for daily bread and self reliance. Since you are not stupid like us, we would be coming to you to teach us where and how to invest our funds. Let me give you some live examples. 2 years ago, I started investing in agriculture. The cheapest land I found in the east was above 100k a plot. I was able to get an acre of the same amount in ogun and oyo state. So as a biafra what would you advice. Again I transported my goods from oyo state to awka. I spend less that 2k to settle boys from the village in oyo up to agbor. Between onitsha and awka, I spent more than 5k to settle boys on the road, I am not talking of police. So as a stupid man I decided for me it's more profitable to sell in lagos. Even though prices are higher in the east but I am more comfortable doing business in lagos. I gave you these 2 example's to show you that tribal emotions have nothing to do with business. It's all about profit and loss. We all do business where we would be more profitable. We all have families to feed. |
Let's talk biafra for a minute, I read the comments of many biafra supporters. You tend to think that all igbos must support biafra and anyone that does not is a betrayal. We igbos are a very intelligent and independent people. We do not fall into group thinking. We are able to think for ourselves. I often ask the biafrans, what would be the advantage of a biafran republic or are we just creating a new nation for the sake of it? Most of us were not born during the biafran war our parents fought. The only country we know is nigeria. So why should every igbo support this biafra adventure. I have nothing against you guys. Good luck with your adventure. But you have to remember that biafra or not, we are all igbos and that's what matters. Not everyone would support you adventure. And don't expect everyone to. Again you guys have been fighting for biafra for decades now. I remember MASSOB and now IPOB. If we tell ourselves the truth, it's all games. Nothing has changed. In the words of Tupac, I see no changes. Next 50 years you would still be fighting for biafra. |
ariesbull:Talk is cheap. You are angry with another man for buying property with his own money. Are you a dictator. That's the problem with you biafra kids you expect everyone to reason and act like you. We igbos are free minded people. Go and read your history, igbos democracy is one of the oldest in the world. We don't need your king nnamdi kalu to teach us where to build our houses or invest our business. Funny thing, nnamdi kalu is well invested in UK and even has a British passport and you feel you have the moral rights to tell or command any igbo. You want to teach us where to do business. I wonder the kind of biafra you would build with kalu as your dictator. The reason why igbos economy grew was because we were able to spread very quickly across Nigeria after the war. One more thing, I noticed that you biafra guys are very insulting, it's as if the worst of igboland came together for this biafra business. |
ariesbull:First you assume that being an igbo, you must see a need for biafra. Well, I dont. Next you compare the creation of biafra to that of Israel. That again is very faulty. In 1948, the Jewish nation was supported by USA and UK hence the Jews in this country found it very easy to move, their property and businesses were not disturbed. Here I have seen a powerful yoruba man tell me to my face, "if you guys create biafra, we would claim all your properties here." Then you mentioned Ghana. Are you aware of how igbo businesses areally being treated in Ghana? The igbo have more to loss than any other tribe. Now you made a big mistake in saying goes that the igbos moved to lags out of stupidity. You are 100% wrong. We moved to lagos, kano and other cities in search of opportunity. If we found such opportunity in igbo land, we would not have moved to lagos. Many of us left our village to lagos because we did not have such opportunities in our villages. No body is in lagos because lagos is too fine. We are all here because of the ease of doing business and the infrastructure. Still talking about the jews, I see you love to compare us with the jews. Did you know that the population of jews in USA is very close to that of jews in Israel. The jews were smart not to burn that bridge. They did not all return to Isreal. Much of the money that was used in building Israel came from jews in USA. If we leave Nigeria today, we would loss all we have. The yoruba and hausa wouldn't be so kind to return our property. Again, you claim that majority of igbos support biafra, my brother I am not sure we ever had an election. We do not know how many igbos support biafra and how many dont. Finally, creating a new country is just the first stage. Just look at south sudan. As a new country we would face new challenges. New problems. It wouldn't be milk and honey. |
Iamdemola1:Please when would we start raising money for the millions of civilians assaulted by the police and army? |
puremaker7:Guys are just having fun |
helinues:Wow. You are very funny. Look businesses do not look for free money, they look for profit. Whenever a company is pulling out of a country it's because it's business is less profitable. And honestly, every one that care about Nigeria should be a Wailer Our country is becoming worse each day There i's hunger in the land. Local businesses are packing up. Foreign businesses are leaving. This is not a time to cheer stupidity but to come together, pray for better leaders and correct the mistakes of the past. |
Igboid:I want to see you as a reasonable person so I would respond. You spoke about the interest of the igbo nation so let's talk about it. Lago's alone has a greater igbo population than any southeastern state so clearly lagos is part of the igbo interest and so with other states that have igbo business and property. We cannot begin a new nation in poverty. Then you called me selfish because I am not interested in losing my property to biafra. Well I rather be selfish than openly embrace poverty. We igbos detest porverty. It's not worth it. Then you accused me and millions of other igbo of not investing in igbo land. Let me take it that you know very little about business and investments. Only a fool chooses emotions over common sense in business. Business is all about opportunity. I found my opportunity in lagos and not in my village. I would not just establish a business for the sake of it. My first reason for starting a business is profit. Lagos provided that for me. Do you really expect me to leave my business relationships, my customers and the ground I have created here to start all over in Aba or Onitsha? How stupid would I be. Of course, if my business grows and spreads to the east I would be the happiest man on earth. But we don't force business, we grow business. Also I built my house so I don't keep paying rent and I also have tenants. My house in the east fetches me no rent. I stay there less than 2 week each year. I recently bought land in ogun state 4 agriculture at 100k an acre. You would never see such a deal in any part of the east. Look you don't force people to invest. If the east is good for my business, naturally I would come there. Lastly, you said I hate my people but there again you are wrong. I don't want my people to loss their wealth. I don't want millions to return to the village and die of hunger. Where would they start from? You are lucky, you have your business in the east. But you don't care about the tens of millions that don't and you claim to love your people. I responded to you because I want you to be honest with yourself. If you can answer this simple question... what would happen to the tens of millions of igbo's all over Nigeria. Again, are you ready for a second biafra war? Because I am not that brave. I rather continue peacefully with my small business in lagos and raise my kids in a good school here. Note.. the Niger delta is not really crazy about biafra. Remember what happened in Port Harcourt after the last war. They were the first to claim igbo property. Learn from history. |
SLAP44:Whatever |
SLAP44:Talk for yourself not for every igbo man. We the igbo have been very individualistic from time. Every man thinks and decides for himself so speak for yourself. Many of us live all over Nigeria. We own businesses and property in Yoruba and hausa land. I am not crazy about the biafra thing. My father fought in the war and I am not prepared for another war. I see nothing good in nnamdi kalu and his army of thugs. These guys are making the east more unsafe. Do I believe in one Nigeria? I really don't care but I care about my business and my safety. I don't want a war and I don't want to lose everything I have worked for over the years. Let's face it, igbo would lose the most if this biafran stupidity plays out. Do you think the yorubas would be so kind to let you claim your property? See what they are doing to us in Ghana, it would be 10 times worse. |
Quality20:That's the problem with many of you black men. You just come up with stuff and propagate it without evidence. Suddenly, you are now an expect on female sexuality. Maybe you should write a book. My advice is, next time do some research, study a little before coming out to state gabbage as facts. There is no study to show female sexuality has anything to do with respect. |
PAWG:It's OK I guessed as much. I enjoy exchanging ideas with brilliant guy like you |
PAWG:Bro I think you are making a little mistake here. You are mixing up Dubai (UAE) with Qatar. It's very easy to mistake the two. |
PAWG:I have never really been a good politician.. Yeah you could argue for other benefits but definitely not money. Again brazil has more tourist than qatar approximately 2.1 million Number of tourists to Qatar 2008-2019. This statistic represents the number of overnight tourists to Qatar from 2008 to 2019. According to the UN World Tourism Organization, the overnight tourist arrival to the country in the year 2019 accounted to approximately 2.1 million.Oct 2, 2020 https://www.statista.com › statistics • Qatar: number of total tourists 2019 | Statista 6.589 million visitors Tourism in Brazil is a growing sector and key to the economy of several regions of Brazil. The country had 6.589 million visitors in 2018, ranking in terms of the international tourist arrivals as the second main destination in South America after Argentina and third in Latin America after Mexico and Argentina. https://en.m.wikipedia.org › wiki Tourism in Brazil - Wikipedia |
Soso990240:Not true... in fact it's mainly the other way round. The host country gives FIFA tax breaks. FIFA makes most of the money from broadcasting and even ticket sales. |
PAWG:What I wrote is based on precedence. Brazil is a much bigger tourist location than Qatar yet the world cup in Brazil was a financial loss. London is one of the most visited city's yet the London Olympics also cost more than the revenue. After the even, the host is left with ghost cities. Are you implying that Qatar is doing something different than these other places? Let's not forget Sochi Olympics that cost the Russians over $30 billion. Today, Sochi is a ghost town. And finally, our own all African games in Abuja. The beloved Abuja stadium has barely been used since then. |
