Yes. The Nigerian Military accepts total responsibility. It wasn't intentional. There was an intel of approaching BHT so the military decided to send in ground troops with Air cover. This is surely a bad news.
RIP to the dead.

This is a delibrate act that shouldn't be swept under the carpet with the excuse that it was a 'mistake'. Mistake because he thought it was a terrorist gathering. |

lofty900: [s] I blame this civilian JTF members for this carnage. Yes I blame them!!! Why would they hold a meeting without being combat ready? Why would gather in large numbers without positioning snipers in strategic posts to provide security? Why would they attend a meeting without their fully loaded ak47 assault rifles? what kind of civilian JTF members are they if they can't defend themselves in case of emergency ambush? What kind of civilian JTF are they if it takes only two guys on a bike to slaughter them like this? I blame them honestly [/s] '( You watch movies too much. |

africaken254: you could easily counter remote -controlled detonators with man pack jammers .but the real reason toggle switches are used.it because they are cheap and easy to make as a trigger, compared to remote controlled devices Yes I know reason why I said suicide bombers. You are not expecting a suicide bomber at a particular location so the use of remote detonation should still be common. Seems most female suicide bombers at some instances, have someone with a remote detonator. |

owodokiri: I you cant help but pity the massive quantity of humanity suffering under his leadership. He started off leading an army mutiny against President Dauda who had many Nigerian army officers in his Gambian army. Gwadebe and co.., The Nigerian officers disappeared and the president ran and since then, Jammeh has held tight to power. It is time to go and go he should.
But then the big question is; who is pushing so hard for this Borrow guy..., so gingerly? Jonathan was used to deal with Gbagbo and Gadaffi and now Buhari is getting set to deal with Jammeh. Nigeria using her geo-political clout/army to serve the interests of the big powers. We wasted thousands of lives in Liberia and Sierra lone but today it is the british and their multi nationals that are enjoying both the praises and the economic benefits. . Please explain how a Jonathan was used to deal with them both. |
