Its already in wide use with men of the Nigerian police. Heard its been used by specialized units of the mobile police (Mopol) .
jakeporeshenko: Nigerian Air Force has deployed its Special Forces to the newly established Quick Response Wing Nguroje, Taraba State, as part of expansion plan by the Nigerian Air Force to bring security closer to the people.
Nice to the the profile LAV
The Nigerian Airforce is seriously trying o. A 2017/18 brand new hilux will go for nothing less than 15m. 10 x 15m = 150m.

I doubt the need of mi-24/34 in Taraba. The use of light attach helo would have been the best.
olapluto: lol I met some NPF CTU guys on my way to Abeokuta from Ibadan. They were also collecting 50 naira. However, I was impressed by their intelligence and searching. I engaged some of them and they seemed to know what they were doing.
While in Nigeria, I noticed then around Ibadan to Ijebu Ode. I think it's the same route we're talking about.
The guys do their search very well. Unlike others who are there just there for the money. There are alot of police checkpoints along that route. They seem more educated compared to the Mopol on the road who couldn't read the Nigerian police xoxoxoxo unit on the vehicle. The officer bashed our vehicle with his gun making us to park. At that moment, others were like can't you see what's written on the vehicle and the officer could only pronounce the word police from write up.
I don't know how the Nigerian police deployed her officers but I have seen a whole squad of Mopol made up of educated officers with good kit but they're only deployed as escort for senior officers / special operations.
lionel4power: the way some of you guys come here and boldly make grand claims makes me wonder if some of you even understand the dynamics and variables involved in today's battlefield.
for every singular action taken.... a wide range of factors is considered.
lionel4power: Kenya set to launch new homemade nano-satellite
African countries must take advantage of the innovations space technology has to offer to improve the socio-economic wellbeing of a nation…
The Republic of Kenya is about to join the exclusive club of space-based assets in Africa as it begins to make plans to launch its fully indigenous satellite system into space.
The new Kenyan satellite was designed by students a d researchers from the University of Nairobi (UoN) in collaboration with the Italian Sapienza University and the Japanese Space Agency (JAXA), after the completion of the Kenyan satellite it was handed over to the JAXA Tsukuba Space Centre in January for launch into space.
Futa launched some Nano satalites too. I have never checked OR read about the technology behind it but it's good to see something coming out of our institutions.
bidex111: NIGERIAN AIR FORCE ALPHA JET AIRCRAFT NEUTRALIZES SCORES OF BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS DURING CLOSE AIR SUPPORT
A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Alpha Jet aircraft yesterday, 7 May 2018, neutralized scores of Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) while providing Close Air Support (CAS) to ground troops. The successful air strike by the NAF Alpha Jet aircraft followed calls from the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 8 Division of the Nigerian Army (NA) that troops conducting clearance operations at Koleram had come in contact with BHTs. The GOC therefore requested for support from the NAF, sequel to which the Alpha Jet aircraft was immediately scrambled to provide CAS. On arrival over the location, there were exchanges of fire between BHTs and our ground forces. The crew of a Nigerien Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft established contact with the ground troops and guided the Alpha Jet aircraft crew to the major source of fire from the BHTs, which was seen coming from a particular settlement. Consequently, the NAF Alpha Jet aircraft engaged the target with rockets and cannons thus neutralizing the BHTs and destroying their weapons. The Air Task Force will continue to conduct missions, on request, in support of the efforts of our troops in the counterinsurgency operations in the Northeast.
OLATOKUNBO ADESANYA Air Vice Marshal Director of Public Relations and Information Nigerian Air Force
bidex111: I thought they would be unveiled at the anniversary alongside other new inventories. Tdayof said he had seeing the pictures of the armed yahbon drone.
I would have loved to post the pictures. Actually the drone is what I have been able to verify from someone else too and he said they only have two delivered yet. The person who sent the picture ssid I shouldn't post it.
If you know anyone at Markurdi AFB, you can ask them. They confirm it.
jakeporeshenko: I want to see the footage on that GoPro !
The military should be sharing some declassified footages with the public. The airforce has been doing well with PR. I need something from the Army too.
SternProphet: I knew that was what Nigeria wanted to do. They will mount PAVE II system and APKWS from the Super Tucano deal on all AW 109 choppers. They will have utility choppers more effective than MI 35M for one fifth of the price. AW 109 is just $7m. Nigerian registered companies can maintain it. There are many pilots ready to fly it. It can carry FLIR for night ops, TOW missiles and 20mm canons.
Obviously they want to put the MI 35Ms on lower rate of delivery whilst stacking up on the more reliable, cheap, very versatile and higher technology AW 109. The Filipino Air Force had the right idea from the start that we are borrowing from. Since Boko Haram font just operate from distant outposts like Sambisa but the action is now moving to semi rural areas and even urban areas, then lighter, cheaper, more agile and more accurate delivery choppers are increasingly being required. Sometimes you want to take out vehicles with precision strike, disembark troops to engage whilst staffing the enemy with canons and machine guns. The AW 109 will do everything. And you can take it to the hangar and convert it to VIP transport the next day for Oga's inspection.
Here is how the conversation went. Now show me where he claimed God showed him.
The man said daddy has God told you who will win the election next year?
He replied: son, I'm not even sure yet there will be an election because unless these killings stop they may be no election next year.
The man then responded saying : Are you prophesying daddy.
Adeboye replied: Nonononono I'm not prophesying. I'm just reasoning because nobody will go out to vote if they're not sure they'll be able to return home safe.

This blogger is a liar. He never said God showed him.
