It is a always good and refreshing to see that we have a President who does not intervene in the rule of law. Elections In Nigeria now, There is no need to fear. Why? Because the will of Nigerians will not be subverted. Never! A President once told us in this country that the coming polls would be do or die. Not with President Buhari. Fair is fair. No foul play. Under his watch, his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa, Oyo State and Anambra states. At the last Council of States meeting, Gov Willie Obiano publicly registered his appreciation to President Buhari, for the level playing ground he made available during the election in his state. With do or die apostles, and a certain political party in power, such would never happen. Not with their garrison mentality. All states are territories that must be conquered, willy-nilly. APC has won gubernatorial positions under Buhari in Kogi, Ondo and Edo states. The victories were fair and square. The party lost in Bayelsa, Oyo, Anambra etc. This President would never manipulate victory for anyone, not even his own party. And you ask us not to trust him? We will, and no mistake. God bless our darling Daddy President Muhammadu Buhari. God bless Nigeria.
IT IS EITHER YOU ARE IGNORANTLY STUPID OR STUPIDLY IGNORANT. |

You don't want to know what happened on that day. |
Here's the details. Not worth your click. Greetings, as we all know are very essential. They show signs of respect, honour and high esteem. Greetings can be made to friends, parents, elderly ones, even people you're older than(as funny as it sounds). Well, here are some greeting errors which are very common among Nigerians, while doing so in English. 1. The Good "Aftoon" Error A whole lot of people fall under this category. It's probably because they rush the greeting, or probably are too lazy to stretch the greeting in the correct manner or thereabout, but then, it still remains an error. This Hyonotization Trick Will Work on Anyone This is usually said in place of Good afternoon, which is a greeting made in the afternoon, starting from 12pm till about 4pm. For example, Good aftoon sir. Some even shorten it to " aftoo" or "gooraftoon". 2. The Good "Even" Error This error is similar to the first and the one after it. So many people say it in place of "Good evening" I am still yet to understand how " even" sounds like "evening ". Some people shorten it to "eve" (Huh?) . For example: Bola good eve. 3. The Goo Morny Error Haha. This one is very spectacular. When someone wakes up from sleep in the morning and sees his/her parent(s), the person just goes on to rant "daddy goo morny sir" or "mum goo morny ma". Goo morny is in no way similar to Good morning. It's quite wrong. Conclusion I'm fully aware that English is not the Mother tongue of any Nigerian at all, but it is the official language. Many people don't actually mind these errors as they have already stuck to it. But it's wrong. I think it's advisable to say the correct things. Those who voted better or satisfactory lo probably thought they were being asked about his state of health. At least he no longer live abroad on medical vacation.

No need to argue. We have been seeing how Igbo herds men have been moving their cattle from village to village, entering people's farms, destroying crops, and when the farm owners try to stop them, they gang up,up, armed with ak47 shoot the villagers and set their houses on fire. |

In a related development, the man who calls himself the president of Nigeria has not reacted, neither has he released any official statement either via his aides or personally since these senseless killings and looting of shops owned by Nigerians started. I marvel at the circumstances that led to the foisting of this lifeless corpse as president over a Nigeria which boasts some of the best brains in every aspect of life globally. meanwhile, Buhari is still picking his teeth and looking at pictures in an old newspaper.

dheilaw1:REALLY? So, tell me: the billions of naira budgeted by Buhari to buy food for himself and family in Aso Rock, can u tell me how much if that was budgeted in toothpick? |
Wiifesnatcher:Nairaland is a forum. If u are an eyewitness of the Sid scene, it is your duty to report it here. If it is something of interest, it will be pushed to the front page. That is how they operate here. Everybody here is a report. |
Conspiracy theories won't change anything now. It didn't change the fact that someone who was elected to lead felt the contract was none of his fucking business. Now that water done pass garri, they are frantically searching for who to blame. The picture below is an apt representation of how Buhari reacts to the numerous problems facing the country. If una like, make una kill una self. If una like make una shout from here to Jericho. if una like make una dey abuse, insult, dey praise me, criticise. All na una cup of tea. E no consign me. I DEY HERE DEY PICK MY TEETH.
