For me, the issue here is why he was arrested and jailed.
Shouldn't you worry more about not dating a criminal than a cheat?
Programming / Re: Ludo Game Algorithm Wanted For AI Project by Teaman(m): 10:13pm On Oct 20, 2011
@webdezzi - Thanks! Will try to look into AS3

@analytical - Nice post, you must trully be a software engineer, as you seem to know a lot of theory.
Programming / Re: Ludo Game Algorithm Wanted For AI Project by Teaman(m): 3:00am On Oct 20, 2011
webdezzi:

I will recommend AS3 for a game like that. you can easily share it without users doubting the integrity of the program.
instead of using VBA. I dont think you need a database except you want to keep high scores

@webdezzi,
As I 'm not really in to programming, I just code VBA to get more from Excel - mainly for data management in my work.
In those days in uni, i explored and learnt C/C++,Pascal, a little bit of java just for the fun of it.
But, the truth is I never need to use these languages for my work - at least not for what VBA can do easily and without worrying about it running on all platforms.
The fun of being able to beat it and start coding on any computer with Microsoft office anywhere is just great.

From your mention of AS3, I think I am interested in it provided it doesn't get me too involved, lol, <I admit I'm a bit lazy> Is it quite portable as in VBA? i.e you code, you run it; Simple, no story, Does AS3 run on any system that has adobe acrobat or player - no need for extra packaging?

Can you help provide texts to learn it, as well as the compiler or something? I just might be on my way to picking up a dying hobby - programming.
Cheers.

@webdezzi,
Agree with your post,
AI will also be needed for the CPU to know whether to chase, catch and send back home a guy in front, or just run, when being chased, or bring out a new guy with a six, bla bla bla.
Thinking about it now, considerable amount of AI can be involved in the Ludo game,
Programming / Re: Ludo Game Algorithm Wanted For AI Project by Teaman(m): 10:55pm On Oct 19, 2011
Hmmnn, interesting thread,
I used to be a programmer back then in my school days, but I must admit I am no longer current with the modern industry.
However, I can still program Visual Basic from sleep which is enough to help me with my work, , and I don't struggle too much to develop algorithms in general for things I understand very well.

To me, I don't think creating a Ludo progam should be that difficult. It would require a lot of cleverness to create a human vs CPU game as said above (maybe that's called some basic AI).
Well, I think I can challenge myself to try to create the Ludo game in my spare time,with Excel and simple and well - structured VBA.
If I ever get the time to achieve this, I can post on this forum for peeps to help debug.
Family / Re: A Family Member Informing Your Spouse Before Visiting by Teaman(m): 2:22pm On Sep 03, 2011
To be honest, I don't know what kinda of relationship exists btw ur husband and your parents, but I think it is stupid for any man (at least we Nigerians with a respectful culture) to demand to be informed personally before wife's parent visit their home. After all, you had the wisdom to inform ur husband about your father's coming, and that to me is enough, as he now knows of his coming, whether he has been told personally by ur father or u have helped pass the message.

Althoough, I am not married, but I can't believe people can be so haughty and rude to their in laws shocked

Crime / Re: How Police Brutalized A Beauty Queen by Teaman(m): 12:43pm On Aug 29, 2010
I think this guy was probably treated like that because he's homo. By the way, why did almost everyone on this thread missed the fact that he is a man-turn-woman?
NYSC / Re: Help Please! Advice For Expatriate Going For Nysc by Teaman(m): 10:33pm On Mar 24, 2009
@Poster,
Almost everybody has made some sense on this page.
My advice:
The only reason why someone like you will want go thru NYSC is because you probably have political ambitions in future. That's very fine ,but, if want to do NYSC, please do it like a brave man.

>Tell your aunty to work some state capital for you (Ilorin, Yola, Benin, Enugu, or something) Go thru the 3 wks orientation and endure whatever hardship you meet like a soldier (learn how to live in a war zone - war can actually break out someday anywhere!).

>Serve the remaining one year in a school or whatever.

>Participate actively in the community development program (you can do a lot of charity which I think you actually enjoy).

>Get your NYSC certi eventually.

Trust me dude, you 'll enjoy the experience. What I am really against is you staying 3 days in orientation camp (probably in a hotel) and some few more days and return to Canada (or wherever overseas) and get your certi in the long run and claim in future you have completed NYSC? To me, that's bush shit. And please, stop calling yourself an expatriate yet. Cheers.

If Angola looked like this in the 60s and 70s, the question is, how does it look now? With Africa and its non-maintenance culture. undecided
Celebrities / Re: Did You Know This Actor Is Nigerian? by Teaman(m): 1:49am On Feb 07, 2008
Yep. I knew him in the movie "Ace Ventura". He's name read 'Adewale'. In the movie, he stared with American comedian Jim Carey.
I was so proud then that a Nigerian can actually star in an American .

@almondjoy
Hey! Just kidding almond lady.  I know u write very well. In fact I 'll be very surprised if u are not a journalist or something. Just pulling your legs for making fun of the guy cheesy. I feel  so sorry about our education system though  sad Meanwhile, I just finished reading one of your "verbal combats" with Elosera,  or something like that about US and UK - which is better? I was extremely entertained. I read almost all the posts. Although, I 've never been to to the US, but I respect the structure in the sense that it is a true representation of planet earth (talk of technology, whao!), and is not on the same level with the UK at all.  UK is nothing so special. lol

In fact I laughed so had  catarrh exploded out of my nostrils and bounced of my monitor.  My co-workers had to come out here to make sure I was not having seizures.  Too many laughing icons already so no need to add more.

When I read the thread's title,

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen, some things should not even be joked with.

Chai!!!!
The guy obviously doesn't know better. You would have rather corrected  him. Nobody is perfect.
Investment / Re: Stock Market Tips For Nigerians by Teaman(m): 7:21pm On Jan 03, 2008
Hi, everybody
Happy new year to y'all.

Please, can anyone give me information about Dangote Flour mills IPO that was traded sometime around September

last year? I bought the shares then and was expecting to see it quoted on the daily stock exchange updates on

nigerian dailies. Could anybody please enlighten me on what s going. I am not really well grounded on stock market

investments. I only buy major IPO's here and there on the advice of people. Expecting a reply please.

Thanks
Romance / Re: Crush On Your Teacher by Teaman(m): 2:00am On Dec 12, 2007
I remember being impressed by my english teacher's light sexy legs, back in JSS 2. I was always staring with style. Again in SS1 or so, i remember having a crush on this student biology teacher. Very slim, 'curvy' and beautiful, but I never had d guts to do anything but 'trip' 4 her sad Finally, after i graduated, i went back to school to pick up my certificate, and I remember being aroused by this yoruba teacher that knows me well from the day i started school when i was just a 11-yr old small boy. I was shocked to realise how sexy and endowed she really was! lol
Politics / Re: Senate Rejects Transfer Of Bakassi To Cameroun by Teaman(m): 10:21pm On Nov 23, 2007
If Nigeria cannot protect Bakassi, they you guys should wake-up one day to find Lagos is now Benin Republic and  Kwara belongs to Niger replublic, Babasin
@Babasin
I guess you were joking and know what you posted. If you were not joking, then let me make a very important correction: Kwara is very far, and I mean, very far from Niger Rep. I am sure, Kwara is about 12hours or so  by road from Sokoto, Katsina  or Jigawa that share the same border as Niger Rep. I feel inclined to reply because I am from Kwara State, which is north-central (more of south though) and I think a lot of Nigerians are of the premonition that all the "K" states i.e Kwara, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi , are northern states. Well, Kwara is  the only exception. Kwara is predominantly a yoruba state, with some fulani history attached to it ( I suggest you do some research on this! To expand your knowledge). I think it is the duty of any adult nigerian, whether educated or  less educated, to know the simple geography ( at least states, their locations and capitals) of their only country. Why it was Kwara you chose to make your comparison, I dont know, but I know, it is impossible for Kwara to be ceded to Niger Rep. It  is possible it could be ceded to Niger state  though (in those days of IBB , ). I 'm sure you know the difference between Niger Republic and Niger State, however! Cheers smiley
