Disrespect is everywhere now not only one tribe and I have noticed it especially those in their 20s to 30s( early)...... I was shocked the day a Yoruba girl far younger spoke rudely to me, and this isn't from her only.... I now remembered what one of my Yoruba friends told me when I lauded how u people greet / culture, she told me I should pray not to meet the werey types and not too long I started meeting them. Some can't use the magic words: Sorry, Please, Excuse me, Pardon, Thanks.... Seems you guys mistake proper character/ upbringing with salutation and demonstration that comes with it eg prostrating.

Parents need to do more as some of these badly trained ones/ agberos are already birthing kids of theirs. Nigerians irrespective of how great/ little they greet/ salutation are still the torch bearers to other Africans.

Don't come on social media and draw conclusions. It's good that you've done your own little research. Infact reading comments on this forum everyday is enough research. If you are looking for a people that practice respect check Japan. To me yoruba just enforce hierarchy not respect because as far as I'm concerned respect has nothing to do with age, gender or class. Respect should be given on the grounds that you are a human being that's all.

Igbo president is just distraction as far as I'm concerned. Building the economy of South east should be the goal. Igbo president will not change the life of anybody in South East.

The problem with some of you is that you want everybody to like you, that can never happen and will never happen. I'll advice you form a small circle of friends let's say 3 of them in that compound, those ones should be the ones you go informal with; laugh and play. Note this relationship should be symbiotic and respectful no parasite or disrespect should be tolerated. The rest put them in formal zone, no jokes, no smiles just greet and go straight to the point if a conversation comes up.

Maybe it is skull mining that will

Chiraq77:

You are a Dull Person,The World Revolves on Buying and Selling.

Elon musk did not become a billionaire by buying and selling. The only thing that can make you a billionaire is using education to solve problems. The bigger the problem you solve the bigger the money you make. Dear igbos go to school. The only property you have in this life is education. If natural disaster happens today or Nigerian currency becomes
like Zimbabwe pounds the only people that will bounce back after losing everything will be the well educated ones because they will be able to Use their education to solve problems or join others in their company in solving problems. Buying and selling will not make you rich or save you in times of trouble. I'm Igbo so don't look from the angle of tribalism. You say you are Jews but you don't behave like jews, in case you don't know the Jews don't play with education at all. There's a saying in Israel: the only property you have is education, because of their history of being marginalized and chased around the world they've learnt over time to take only education as a property. Go and read about the Jews more. A piece of advice. Happy Sunday nwanne.

Good one . Kano people should not give them any chance at all. Kano is a commercial hub and insecurity is the least thing it needs

Kano people are majorly hausa. Hausa doesn't give problem Unlike the fulani. The people doing this bandit are majorly Fulani and kaduna is run by Fulani terrorists.

@alexBells .. the problem you have is that you are empty. I have a feeling that the so called agbor girl is the only girl in your life. Men that have plenty girls in their life don't bother whether one of them is misbehaving. If she misbehaves you cut her off and continue with the rest, anytime you see her act like she doesn't even exist and pass. My man go and up your game, read comments from ubunja redpill on this forum or look for free online books on alpha males and how to make good friend and start meeting lots of girls. Have alot of girls at your disposal so you won't be needy. You don't have to look like Justin Bieber to nail bitches trust me. Your post is irritating and You sound like an idiot to me. All this epistle for a girl. Chai you Bleep up.

Zoning is reducing the quality of leadership we have.

If it is of any benefits, it would be in our constitution. But the crooks in leadership don’t give no F about good leaders so long as their tribesmen are there.

From all the zoning from different states, who can you beat your chest to say they’ve made a difference due to zoning?

Instead of making decisions based on competence alone they are looking at zone, tribe and religion soon they will add gender to it just wait and see. This is how we ended up with buhari on the grounds that it is time for the North to rule. Sometimes I regret coming from this godforsaken country, sincerely I feel very sad.

Don't be a fool, imo state that has nothing like zoning with all their governors coming from orlu zone how are they fairing , has it changed imo from being the unemployment capital of the south and north and the most terrorised state after Borno? undecided

How do you select the best heads in a society?
I'll like to know? Try and think because I doubt if you do.

Datikwerreboi:

For me I will prefer umahi complete his tenure so power can go to the Ebonyi north for equity sake. Everyone in Ebonyi Should prefer Umahi finishes up,just a year so other zones can take over . Idu means Ebonyi South again,is it not true?

Even Sam Egwû, a PDP senator won't even be happy for Ebonyi South to continue as governor under PDP

Do you have any University education at all?
Instead of looking for the best head in the society regardless of zone to run delicate offices you prefer to choose candidate by zone? is choosing politians by zone the solution to ebonyi high poverty rate?

This is why inec needs to set exams for people to check their heads before issuing PVC. We cannot allow people like this vote or even have a voice in our society.

AbdulHakeem44:
Lol, this is not a win win for any religion but a lose to many average citizens. Once the school is fully returned to the owners, government stopped funding thee schools with taxpayers money and the school take full responsibilities of the day to day activities of the school. To balance up and meet standard, school fee will be legislated and skyrocketed above the means of many students' parent. The affected parents (mostly Christians cos of their population) will be looking for another government school (which is probably missionary built) to enrol her child.

A question to a reasonable Nigerian not religious sentimental people, who lost??

The same happened in Ogun state and saw schools with population of thousands reduced to below 500.

It's better to train just one person with quality education than 1000 with government rubbish low quality funded education.

Building projects that can't generate revenue to fund themselves is what I don't get. The one rochas built in imo state how far?. That money would have been invested in agriculture so that ipob will stop stealing onions.

Intelligent point.

Things are not always black and white, also contexts matter a lot in making such comparisons.

BTW, as per Nigeria, realistically we can never get to that level of patriotism because we even lack patriotic leaders. The present government has even drawn the hand of the clock so backwards that the division in existence today will take anything short of a miracle to mitigate.

As far as Federal character is entrenched in your Constitution don't expect tribalism to end. To put an end to tribalism and division first substitute Federal character for merit and competence as a decider for employment and appointments into public offices. Systems of merit should be designed and used in employment. When private companies do employment they don't ask where you are from the only thing they care about is competence but recruitment into the military, police civil service in Nigeria are built on the foundations of tribalism in the name of equality. There is nothing like equality. Equality is just a term used by lazy ethnic bigots.
