My bro thanks for sharing. I thought i was alone on this. Panel 39 drilled me hard. Any time i give an answer, they'll say they are not satisfied with the result. The guy who asked me the HSE question just dey fire me like say I thief him babe. After the interview, I'm not even sure i wrote my account number correctly. I was still shook. God dey anyways.

na so my brother...I was down for hours when i got home..but i later cheer up, play games and went out with my friends...if you noticed me that day before i enter the panel room, I just dey share pictures upandan...I don't think anyone had the time for that lol...I was feeling like nothing dey happen, until something happened...It got to a point I just dey stammer ni sha...confidence dropped to zero, then con ask me if I have a question, for my mind i be like I was question for where... i said no and they wished me safe journey..said thank you... I did saw two of my scores...dressing was 5 i think... I faked a smile on my way out, it is well

I rarely comment on here... but I would like to plead with you all not to derail this NNPC thread with whether there is a god or not!

I know many who are going through this recruitment process -- and we rely on this thread for info -- but we do not comment. Imagine if we all comment with all type of jargons on here, then most of us will miss out on important information.

With you all lampooning those sharing important tips - and question hints, I want you all to understand something... Yes, this is a competition, but we are different. I was feeling confident myself on the day of the interview -- I was armed with tips and hints that I have picked up on here.

While waiting to be called into the interview room, I witnessed two great guys visibly shake before they went into the rooms. I saw peeps who were jovial while waiting came out with a straight face. I particularly saw a guy whose experience on his CV was outstanding -- as in, we were literally congratulating him that he was going to ace this interview -- but what happened? First, his CV was badly arranged and worded -- and he did the unthinkable, he had his CV printed on both faces of the A4 paper. We could have cursed him out while pointing it out to him, but we encouraged him instead. When he came out, he couldn't manage to smile. When he eventually flashed his teeth, it was a grin.

That was when I started to be self-conscious -- then I lost my self-balance. I started shaking. Wow!

I received greeting/sitting/appearance hints from the guy ushering us in -- and he was open enough to say many have failed on that. DO NOT SIT BEFORE BEEN OFFERED A SEAT. BUTTON YOUR SUIT WHEN YOU GO IN, UNBUTTON WHEN YOU SIT DOWN.

I did as I was told, started well -- until I got the technical question that was related to my university course of study -- I couldn't answer the first, the guy was cool enough to assist me, and when we both concluded I have no idea, he beckoned on the other panelists (they were all four) that could he ask me another question, and they replied YES. And then he asked a newer question, which I answered. But he wasn't convinced enough - as though he wanted a textbook definition of that. We want back and forth over it, and then we moved on. Then came the first situational judgment question, and the technical guy urged me to speak deeply again. Before I got the second situational question, I was urged to go deeply and all. So I did, and I was told I was spending too much time talking. The 5th and last question been on safety. He said give me 4 tips. Once I read out the 4 tips, he said I should give him one more, that I should make it 5. I lost my balance again for the second time on that day -- I couldn't say a thing till they all muttered TIME UP, and they asked if I have a question. I did ask, and they were taken aback -- like there was no answer for me, and the Chief panelist threw the question back to me, and it looked as if I had been trapped. Wow, I lost my balance again! Till I left the room!

So, getting questions tips does not do much if you will not carry yourself well. In fact, you do not even know what the interviewers are looking at.

So, let people share if they wish - it doesn't affect their chances. Federal character will be employed in choosing the successful candidates -- do not disregard the man-know-man connections that will make it happen for some persons too.

Alas, a little bit of luck & grace is needed. Let's hope for the best! I can't wait for the testimonies that would be shared on this platform when many of us are sent the APL! Good luck!

i remember say I dey plan to take some personal pictures after my interview, as I comot the room like this, my moral drop from 10 to 1 real quick on top say I went to toilet three times before I was called in, that cheif panelist no get joy at all, I just dey waka jeje like, it was my first interview though, as I waka go block d to fill my bank details, I left the premises immediately, I enter drop wey dey go my location, enter house sleep ... que sera sera noni...

You may be a first class, but your logic is just very silly. No offence intended. Saying that events are random does not in any way suggest any element of divinity or excuse for inexplanable events. Did "God" suggest to you the type of haircut to take or the brand of deodorant to buy? Did "God" tell you the amount of pepper to load in your stew? Did "God" tell you the CV style to adopt or that you should apply NNPC? Such trivialities are stochastic. Was it "God" that told Michael Jackson the exact words and dance moves to make him popular? There are just so many series of alternate possiblilites for every event that occurs. These variations occur stochastically either by choice or chance.

guess na first class in one funny course and some glorified secondary school... I no mention any uni though so make anyone no take am personal...make nobody quote me with rubbish...I will ignore... good night

How did God make your first class possible? This is the kind of teaching that kills people's creativity. Even bible says he gives sunlight to both good and bad people. If you study well, you will pass. If you work hard, you will succeed irrespective of your religios disposition. My cousin now doing masters in the US on NLNG scholarship said something about his department. There are chinese, Americans, Russians etc in his class who were on scholarship too and majority of them were athiest. They were all brilliant and he felt like the dumbest person in the class. This people will go clubbing on sundays and still come back and top the class with 2 or 3 Nigerians who think prayers is what works. This is not to say that prayers is bad, but how can you explain your self to Athiests who are doing exceedingly well.To me, i believe in God. Even if God wants to give you something, he will give you the tools needed to be competent in it. You are misunderstanding the point. When God says he is a God of justice, what does it mean to you? God help us all

Guy please double check this info with your source cos it doesn't look realistic. Well over 200 positions were advertised for EH positions. So EH cannot be just 200 even if they are to take one person per role, which I doubt.

at this stage, na the slots wey dem allocate to each states matters...how many slots dey your state, and individual performances

during my interview, I saw the big guy grade me... the first box...he wrote 5... I guess na outfit be that..I was on shirt n trouser no suit that was intentional sha... folks wey enter before me had 70-77... I saw dem scores clearly...only saw two of mine and the boxes reached like 6/7... the big guy na chief panel sha...the man no just gree for me...I remember i said i wasnt able to defend...I quickly said "I take it back"... he said no i can't, its part of the interview... panel29....#5thJuly 7AM if you here I saw your interview scores, those two guys n girls wey enter before me.... las las na luck, or grace or connect..call it anything...que sera sera ni... totori me one time to...totori me two times toto...

my advice...base of my interview today...no question from my CV.maybe cos my CV dry gan no work experience aside nysc..no need to share what they asked cos its irrelevant...nah different questions for each day...they just wanna test your ability thats all. get ready for any questions from any corner...Good luck to us. back home now...I gotta rest
