There's no reason for the very existence of NATO. Countries suffering economic problems like Italy spending scarce money to acquire weapons and fund military operations instead of helping her poor citizens that pays the taxes. Russia have never invaded or threatened Italy, Italy is Russia's second biggest trading partner in the EU after Germany and yet the Italian government is punishing it's already long suffering citizens because they want to join American sanctions against Russia. Doesn't make sense.

So the world should just fold her arms and watch Russia invade Ukraine.

Mind you Russia economy is just about the same size with Spain, it's not that big compared to other world powers. 50 percent of Russia GDP is from sales of oil.
Russia heavily depends on the exportation of oil from the survival of their economy, Ukraine annexing it's oil would definitely affect Russia economy in a negative way.

NATO membership application was embedded into ukraine constitution in 2019. Just saying they have no interest wouldn't solve it. You have to understand the history behind the invasion. From the fall of the Berlin Wall to the Warsaw pact era to the ukrainian coup that removed the pro Russian government. Look at what happened in Kazakhstan recently you see how Putin immediately deployed Russian force to the country to quell the unrest.

Someone gave me a simple job of making an existing static site template responsive within 24 hours and I blew it. A simple task that should take few hours, it looked all good on my localhost only to test it on netlify and it turned out to be a disaster. I'm just so ashamed of myself.

I've been learning web dev since mid last year though its been a case of one month on three months off, I've been grossly inconsistent due circumstances beyond my control. I suck at designs reason why my frontend skills is below average... should I try backend?? I don't think that this is the goal. If Russia had gone Hiroshima on Ukraine the way America did to Japan then, you wouldn't be typing this. Things would have been too disastrous. You folks don’t even know what a war is all about. You are just talking about who is stronger. What of allies? Allies makes strength too.

This war is above strength at the moment. It’s about country relations, effectiveness of world’s guiding policies and integrity of different continental groups/organizations.

No matter how strong you are, you are bound in one way or the other to different policies. Why will a country with nuclear powers not just fight nuclear? The NPT agreement only allows the harness of nuclear weapon for peaceful purposes (of course countries use it now as a show of world power) and the Nuclear Weapon Policy which allows all states the responsibility that nuclear weapons are never used again. Also the TPNW which has strict policies on Nuclear ownership.

So you see, it’s actually above just strength. Allies, policy restrictions and several other factors matter.
