it is the pressure of the job.

Programing entails attending to every detail to the last.

If you miss something, money don lost be that
You must deliver what you have been paid to do.

Just pick a path and stick to it

For naija market I suggest

C#/javascript

That's what I do and I am good at it

You will still write code to test your code
Interesting

Learning as a software developer is endless

Now cloud technology is the thing now
Containers
Kubernate

You must know almost everything else you will not be relevant

Well said, I advised someone to learn C++, or was it C sometimes ago, I almost got crucified
Funny how someone who hasn't spent a year in the game and still find his path
would offer better advice against people that have spent at least 6- 10 and have tried and failed multiple times . . . if I count correctly.

You are right
As I am typing this we are moving all the applications to micro-services using C# dotNet Core 5.
So many jobs for c# developers in Naija, young devs need to look at the market and environment.
You are in Naija and following the trend in US

Most jobs that pay well are in the Banks and you can easily get in if you are good
And you need to learn C# or Java

C# mostly
I develop applications in one of the new generation banks so I know what I am saying

C#, Java, Javascript, Angular, React, Azure
