Now cloud technology is the thing now

Programming / Re: How Many Hours Do You Code Per Day? by techstack: 2:08pm On Apr 08, 2021
I code every day, even Sundays.

45mins at interval
Somedays I don't feel like coding, but something will just come up.
Somedays I might go 2 hours without standing up,

Most time when I am trying to solve an issue

Debugging, refactoring, supporting, googling, brainstorming, stand up meetings, meetings with project/business managers etc

Focus on dotNet core. Most applicants now are web base. go to YouTube and search Tim Corey.

Watch, learn and practice, push code to Github
Learn about SOLID principles
ask questions, move with experienced developers

Deploy to heroku and netlify

Employers will ask for your projects

Well said, I advised someone to learn C++, or was it C sometimes ago, I almost got crucified
Funny how someone who hasn't spent a year in the game and still find his path
would offer better advice against people that have spent at least 6- 10 and have tried and failed multiple times . . . if I count correctly.

You are right
As I am typing this we are moving all the applications to micro-services using C# dotNet Core 5.
So many jobs for c# developers in Naija, young devs need to look at the market and environment.
You are in Naija and following the trend in US

Candid advise

Most jobs that pay well are in the Banks and you can easily get in if you are good
And you need to learn C# or Java

C# mostly
I develop applications in one of the new generation banks so I know what I am saying

C#, Java, Javascript, Angular, React, Azure
And thank me later
