The bolded is the only reason why some of u guys want an associate ancestor to be president. Buhari was also a nightmare to Igbos in 2019 and he has proven to everyone that he obviously is a nightmare that shouldn't have been allowed to become reality

U won't see an Igbo man calling Obi a nightmare to yorubas. Because we don't think Obi's presidency will be a disadvantage to any region.

Anyway ur hatred for an individual is very detrimental to ur health but u see ur hatred for a tribe, that will send u to hell real quick
Please, dont mind them. They are only trying to sell a junk, and that is the only way available to them.

Why disturbing yourself when u all knw the truth ?, ...because u want to win election ?....you will not even have Nigeria to govern, it's not about PDP or APC antics, it is very clear for all to see...should a Southerner wins, then u would see how divided and insecure Nigeria is...and with a muslim-muslim president-vp, a little killing not even up to Owo will ignite the country, trust Nigeria politicians, the east would be gone completely...how I wish u knw how the presence of Osibanjo as a pastor and PMB as a strong northern Muslim has been helping and saving Nigeria from ignition
They are very stVVpid people!!!

They are only concerned about wining election, and not the health of the country they intend to govern.

Intelligent people will imagine what might happen, if people or the opposition "perceive" the election to be rigged in favour of the muslim-muslim ticket.

The Apc North insisting on presidency coming to Southern Nigeria is a game itself.
Could you expatiate? To sabotage the candidate in the general elections?
PoliticsRe: APC Convention: Where Is The Anointed Candidate? by techWriter5:
NaijaCowFarm:
The APC national convention has come and gone, I still wonder what happened that Buhari was not able to anoint his preferred candidate.
Either Buhari was being maradonic with most of the aspirants or he was aloof and lost focus as usual. This is because I do not understand how people would open their clear eyes and throw away N100m, with some even losing their ministerial appointment for nothing.

Let us look at it this way. Buhari may have actually promised some folks that he would support their presidential ambition. I mean, what would have given the likes of Osinbajo, Amaechi, Ogbonnaya Onu, Emeka Ihejiuba, Tunde Barake, and Godwin Emefiele the impetus to dole out N100m if nothing was promised them?

Yemi Osinbajo would not naturally be bold enough to stand against Awiwaju Bola Tinubu if Buhari did not assure him of his support. Neither would Amaechi, Onu, Ihejiuba, Akpabio and other ministers just leave the office for a wild-goose chase except Buhari promised them. Now following the message from Emeka Ihejiuba, I can conjecture the following:

1. Buhari, in his characteristic forgetfulness may have assured these people individually of his support without recalling what he promised. He even touted a preferred candidate that was never revealed.

2. Buhari may have assured multiple people of his anointing oil that never existed or only existed in the figment of the Aso rock "cabal".

3. Buhari may have jettisoned the preferred candidate option as a result of the outcome of the PDP primaries.

4, The Fulani have conspired to hold on to power beyond 2023 albeit for another 8 years, courtesy of an Atiku presidency.

Be that as it may, the following are the big losers:

Tunde Bakare, he now knows that he has zero support for his hallucination and bad dreams of becoming Nigeria's president. I guess he would have enough time now to research his Bible to understand when the rapture will happen.

Yemi Osinbajo, I am sorry that Yemi did not make it. Obviously, no one gave him any chance except that his vociferous media team was harping on Buhari's support. Even the last-minute push through the religious angle could not save him. As it stands now, Yemi will now return to his chamber as he is totally and absolutely finished politically.

Former ministers Ogbonnaya Onu, Emeka Ihejiuba, Rotimi Amaechi (dan amala of Daura), and other ministers that resigned will be unemployed for the rest of this administration. I wonder if the total emoluments they got as ministers since joining Buhari's cabinet was up to N100m. If not, these ones have played their earnings as cha-cha or kalu-kalu without winning.

The likes of Emefiele and Jonathan Goodluck got saved by the whiskers. While the likes of Orji Kalu and Ngige would be smiling somewhere. I heard Ahmad Lawan has gone to beg Asiwaju.

There goes the saying, do not put your trust in man
I think you are missing the point.

What if Buhari wanted to disenfranchise the entire south, by encouraging as many aspirants as possible, while a singular Northerner got the majority of the Northern vote? Then, he can claim plausible deniability for the lose of southern aspirants.

Atiku, to me, might have been his target, because a Lawan would not stand a chance against him. However, some Northern governors and other stakeholders, who have stake in the party, might have rejected the move. Just think about it.

The only painful part is that, if my assumptions are right, then Buhari might still have his way, as Tinubu is not the best candidate the south can present.

Regardless of the outcome of 2023, I know the south would do its own back.

You guys should stop talking like this... That man is the VP o!

At this point, I feel Osinbajo and Tinubu needs each other. Else, they just act as spoilers for each other, and that useless thing gets the ticket; which places that terrorist is a vantage position.

They should work together and put egos aside.

There are talks Tinubu will pull out of APC with SW if he looses primary. I am from SW and Im no longer a Tinubu follower. I used to be but not since October 20th massacre or his silence over Igangan massacre and Igboho house illegal invasion. Trust me, there are millions like myself in SW, and Yoruba, who will not heed Tinubu call.

If he dare pull out of APC for his loss we would love a leak in public domain outlining the timeline of Army invitation to Lekki Toll Gate and those behind the invitation.

AminuRano87:
As a northern APC supporter, I want to call on our best candidate, ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU to step down for his political god-son, vice president YEMI OSIBANJO because of the following reasons.
1. Age is not on Asiwaju's side.
2. Health issues
3. Issue of religion and running mate. Tinubu is a Muslim, if he choose a northern Muslim as running mate, christians will reject. If he choose a northern christian running mate, the northern Muslims will not like it.

What do you think?
You are very intelligent, sir. I honestly dont know what is wrong with him and his people. That man will certainly lose the general elections, if he manages to pick the ticket of the APC.

This thing is as simple as ABC!

See the unintelligent bots they are using to promote his candidature.

I disagree!!!

The heading is boring with Buhari's name, unfortunately. Try to study threads with Buhari's name and see the engagement of Nairalanders.

Tinubu's threads are always hot because the man has paid pro-Tinubus, and committed anti-Tinubus; who fill up the front page of the thread quicker. Though, you have a point about the bias.
