Ambode had balls but Bola Tinubu was wise enough to take over the house of Assembly which he used to intimidate Ambode. Obaseki learnt from the Lagos case and quickly took over the house of Assembly. Ambode was not a as weak as that, rather, Tinubu arranged the stuff from onset. udemzyudex: |
This information is wrong. The stone was not put in front of the vehicle but it was put behind to prevent it from moving backwards due to heavy load while the driver is engaging the gears to move the truck forward. Nairaobserver: |
helinues:Looking the other way or they want to back his activities with a ten billion Naira election aid. |
You may be right that he has the constitutional right to appoint anyone as his CSO but in the police service there are rules governing number of years to be spent in service and years to be spent on a rank before your next promotion. So because of "my brother", all those rules should be thrown overboard by a man who won election on the basis of a Mr. "Integrity"? |
That is one promotion per year. Even his retirement date is extended by four years. This goverment is more or less like a military government where anything goes. No adherence to due process, federal character and the rule of law. They are the law themselves. I am not surprised because that is what happens when mediocrity and tribalism takes precedence over education and qualification. How on earth do you justify this? |
Until recently, if you have a masters degree with years of teaching in the university and a lot of research papers to your credit, you can be made a Prof. in Nigeria. Prof. Nwabueze, the legal luminary and a lot of others passed through this route. It doesnt diminish the quality of their professorship. Until recently too, if you graduate with first class degree, you go to the UK to do direct Ph.d without a master's degree. Again, this does not diminish the quality of your Ph.d. You are also allowed to teach the master's degree that you didnt do. |
Nowenuse:Lame duck judiciary. No liver to remove any sitting governor. Fear wan kill them. So sorry for this country. |
sassysure:I thought you will ask if they can try him as long as Malami is there as AGF? |
izzou:You went too far in your analysis. What of Jesus? Jesus died the way he did because it was so ordained. Talkless pastor. |
Is the contractual agreement documented? Otherwise it cannot be substantiated in court. MikeBetty: |
Prophet Fayose prophesied loud and clear about Buhari. He said when you bring up a lion cub, you are likely to end up in its stomach when it grows up. |
A stitch in time saves nine. |
They knew Onoghen would have followed the existing standard. The truth is that the spoil of office is too much for the thieves to allow normal procedure to prevail. |
You can only hear his name if he belongs to the other political party. |
Kongi wahala. Men ought to always put their kongi under control. |
You too go far. The Nigerians are leaving now. When everyone leaves and the millions are still jobless, we will see who they will now blame for their problems. |
JohnFrankling:The airport should be shut too. |
Mynd44:The girls must have been entized with lots of money. The killers may think they are smart but they will soon leave a trail to their arrest. People now take human life as if they can create one. |
You are right but I dont remember where Buhari presented his certificate throughout the trial. He always claimed its with the army and when the army secretary was invited, he said there was nothing in the file. |
Nothing to base the petition on? When they asked for school certificate, none was presented but picture with classmate and you say no evidence? The defence given by Buhari's lawyer was that the electoral act only asked for evidence of attendance. So if you apply for a job that requires a degree holder, you will go with the picture taken by you and your classmates as certificate. Well the truth is that Buhari musceld himself through the military to the top and now to the presidency. Na we all dey inside. |
The picture taken with his classmates tendered by Gen. Tarfa is his WAEC certificate. What a country! This is what to expect when judges have sold their honour. I remember the days of Justices Ayo Irekefe, Obaseki, Oputa. Its sad. |
I dont know where we are heading to in this country. A man will work all his life and suddenly a kidnapper, who is a jobless idiot, will show up and expect a man to download his life savings to him. If Ronaldo and Messi were Nigerians, all the money they make in Europe will be used to settle kidnappers! |
Dont mind him. He almost sat down to greet the Emir. I am not sure he ever greeted the Ooni of Ife like that. |
Dont mind him. Eye service. He almost sat on the ground to greet the emir. I dont think he has ever greeted Oni of Ife like that. |
Chuks9000:He may be thinking they were coming for his head and so natural instinct told him to flee because he couldnt predict their mission. |
So the Chinese have to pay for the irresponsibility of South Africans. It just doesnt make sense. |
Please, learn to be civil in making your point. |
You know it is igbos that are mainly on the receiving end. If it was fulani, diplomatic fireworks would have started. Remember, its govt of the F, by the F & for the F. |
The lawyer should be made to appear before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on why a public servant will appear in court in a private case. Its against the ethics of the public service. Malami should know better. |
But for their heroic act. It would have been easy meal for hyenas and lions. |
FarahAideed:Instead of doing justice, they are always looking for excuse not to do so. If national security interest can supersede the rule of law, I think an issue as grievious as this should not be status barred. In other words, the substance of of a case like this should supersede technicalities. |
devlishGINGER:How did that size of tumour make its way out of the womb through that narrow path? |
