PoliticsRe: We Transmitted Election Results To Server Using A Code —presiding Officer by Tecno66: 1:58pm On Jul 08, 2019
positivelord:
Atiku is coming sooner than we thought...
I believe there was a server. The same INEC that claims there is no server later agreed they used it to do test run in some states where by-election took place. All their lies is to justify what they have done. A liar or thief must cover his tracks.
PoliticsRe: 10 Reasons Why Atiku Is Not Coming by Tecno66: 3:25pm On Jul 07, 2019
Slayer1914:
10 REASONS WHY ATIKU IS NOT COMING

1. Atiku’s Server Argument is a SCAM. An Expensive one. The Electoral Act as it exists in Nigeria today does not recognize the transmission of results to any Server or Servers anywhere.

2. So, it does not matter whether INEC has a Server or does not have one, or whether there is any information or data on the INEC Servers or not; the law does not recognize it, simple. This means that regardless of what party clowns and petty criminals like Reno Omokri are saying on social media, claiming they have ‘incontrovertible’ proof that INEC has a Server, all of this means nothing before the Law. Whether or not INEC has a Server, whether or not it transmitted any results to this Server, is immaterial before the current Electoral Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Even a 100L Law Student understands this, how come Atiku’s SANs don’t?

3. What Nigerian electoral law as it currently exists recognises is the Form EC8 Series, especially Form EC8A, signed by agents, collation officers, etc, at the Polling Units. The only way to prove election results in Nigeria today is by the approved forms: the EC8 series. Not by any Server or Servers.

4. INEC could not have transmitted any results to any Server (even if the Server existed) because of network connectivity issues around the country. Several parts of Nigeria are not covered by mobile network which is necessary to guarantee successful transmission. Even INEC has explained that this was one of the reasons why it jettisoned the idea of electronic transmission, in addition to the fact that it is not currently supported by law. INEC has repeatedly explained that it used manual collation for the 2019 elections, as stipulated by the existing Electoral Laws of Nigeria.

5. No lawyer worth his salt, arguing an election petition case in Nigeria in 2019, will make an argument based on Servers, phantom or real. This suggests that Atiku’s lawyers are either clowns, or greedy, or both. This is all about milking him as much as possible. After the campaign-milking comes the election-petition-milking. After the election-petition-milking, probably the spiritual-assistance-milking will be the next level.

6. Please help ask: Which of the party agents – of any of the Parties – authenticated any results on a Server post-voting and the counting of votes? If there’s any agent who authenticated any results please let him or her come forward. Truth is that it didn’t happen! The only results party agents authenticated are the ones on Form EC8A, and this is the only evidence that will stand up in court.

7. Atiku and PDP say they got access to INEC Servers from where they retrieved the results they’re bandying about. Let’s even assume that those so-called Servers exist and that there are any results on them (there aren’t!) – do Atiku and PDP realise that illegal and unauthorised access to a Server is a crime under the Cybercrime Act? If you had (illegal) access as you claim to the Server, how do we know you did not manipulate whatever was present on that server, by adding or subtracting numbers, or smuggling extraneous data in? What Atiku and the PDP do not realise is that admitting in a Court of Law that they hacked into the database of a Government agency is itself proof of malicious and criminal conduct. Talk about self-incrimination. Atiku will not only lose the Election Petition case, he will go down in history as a Cyber Hacker and Manipulator.

8.

a. Take a look at the results presented by Atiku and the PDP, as their own genuine version of the results obtained from the INEC Server. It is extremely ridiculous, and can only support the theory that Atiku’s lawyers are both clownish and greedy.

b. See Lagos State, where 580,825 people validly voted for Buhari versus 448,015 for Atiku, making a total of 1,028,840. On the other hand, however, Atiku’s fabricated Server results allege that 1,103,297 people voted for him versus 1,422,906 for Buhari, making a total of 2,526,203. In other words, PDP and Atiku are alleging that 1.5 million votes somehow vanished into thin air in the cosmopolitan metropolis that is Lagos State.

c. Meanwhile, two weeks later, in the Governorship election, the total valid votes cast came to about 945,000, which is in consonance with the number that voted in the Presidential election, but nowhere near Atiku’s fabricated claims. How will Atiku explain this 1.5m difference between his fabricated Server result and the INEC Presidential result on the one hand, and his fabricated Server result and the INEC Governorship result on the other hand?

d. This is the pattern in all of Atiku’s fabricated Server results – his figures make no sense whatsoever. They didn’t employ common sense in their fabrications. According to Premium Times, “Mr Abubakar’s purported result implies that no invalid votes were recorded in the 33 states, and none of the 71 other presidential candidates obtained any score. In three states; Abia, Bauchi and Cross River, the documents show that the two candidates collectively got votes higher than the number of accredited voters.” Ridiculous!

9. Atiku’s so-called 400 witnesses which he is presenting in court are far too few to prove or disprove anything, especially in a Presidential Election. His lawyers know this, why are they not telling him the truth? The law says you have to prove your election petition case PU by PU. In the 2014 Osun Election Petition Tribunal alone, PDP originally sought to present 1,000 witnesses. 1,000. Just for Osun State alone. In Ekiti in 2014 APC sought to present 1,009 witnesses in the Governorship Election Petition. Now PDP wants to argue a PRESIDENTIAL election petition – with nationwide coverage – with only 400 witnesses. Joke!

10. Atiku and PDP question the INEC declared result in Borno State claiming that turnout could not have been that high because of the insurgency (Buhari 836,496 vs Atiku 71,788, making a total of 908,284). Guess what Atiku’s fabricated Server results claim: Buhari 849,599 vs Atiku 281,897, making a total of 1,131,496 – more than 200,000 votes higher than the declared INEC results. How does this make sense? How can you question the turnout in Borno on the basis of insurgency, and then go ahead to fabricate numbers that are even higher than what you’re querying?

ATIKU IS NOT COMING!
Agreed that there is no server. INEC later said they used server to do test run in some states, so where are the servers they used to do those test run?

“The family of the deceased could not take him to a better hospital because of lack of fund. The deceased had nothing in his account as he has not been regularly paid by the State government.

“It is unfortunate that the drug that was prescribed for him by his doctor could not be bought because we could not raise anything. And the situation got worsened yesterday at about 2pm when he died,” he said.

The corpse of the Doctor of Arabic Studies was conveyed to his country home in Iyamoye in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

When contacted, the Kogi State University Public Relations Officer, Mr Jacob Edegbo confirmed the death of the lecturer.

He,however, said his death has nothing to do with unpaid salaries.

According to him, ” Late Dr Abdullahi has been sick for some time. When he went to the hospital for check-up, before the result came out, he gave up the ghost.”

Dr Abdullahi is survived by a wife and four children.

PoliticsRe: NASS, DSS, Police Set To Take Over Edo Assembly, Issue Directive To Obaseki by Tecno66: 9:31pm On Jul 04, 2019
Abdulazeez99:
Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has been issued a 5-day ultimatum to issue a fresh proclamation letter for the “proper” inauguration of the Edo State House of Assembly and election of a new Speaker, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that the order came at a meeting of the leadership of the National Assembly, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and Director-General (DG) of the Department of State Services (DSS) on Wednesday, in Abuja.

Igbere TV gathered that the meeting was held at the instance of the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, over the petition received from 15 members-elect of the Edo Assembly who were not inaugurated in June this year.

Igbere TV recalls that 15 aggrieved members of the State Assembly had petitioned the National Assembly, IGP and DSS DG over what they described as “illegal inauguration” of the Edo 7th Assembly and election of a new Speaker by 9 out of 24 lawmakers.

At the meeting, the National Assembly and the police expressed readiness to take over the affairs of the Edo Assembly if the governor fails to obey the directives after five working days.

“The leadership of the National Assembly, Inspector General of Police and Director-General of Department of State Services (DSS), after examining the crisis rocking the Edo State House of Assembly, between Tuesday night and early hours of yesterday (Wednesday), in Abuja, resolved that Governor Godwin Obaseki should issue a fresh proclamation for inauguration of the House”, a joint statement sighted by Igbere TV on Thursday read.

The statement indicated that the National Assembly may likely send a team to observe the inauguration of the House and election of a new Speaker whenever a new proclamation letter is issued.

“Governor Obaseki is expected to comply with the directive, which will not exceed next week.

“If he does not do that within five days of receipt of the message from the Senate President, the National Assembly is likely to take over affairs of the Edo State House of Assembly and the police could also seal off the House until the fresh proclamation is issued and re-inauguration carried out,” a source in the Senate President’s Office added.

“Proclamation letter is not something to hide among some few persons, all the members of the House must know about it. They resolved that the right thing should be done and whoever wins in a free and fair process, so be it.”

Igbere TV gathered that at the private meeting hosted by the Senate President, Governor Obaseki who was expected to attend was absent, as he had returned to Edo State after his trip to Abuja on return to the country from the United Kingdom, last week.

Our source, a serving senator who also attended the meeting, said the Senate President (Ahmad Lawan) was mandated to convey the decision reached at the meeting to Governor Obaseki. “He (Obaseki) is to issue a fresh proclamation within five days for re-inauguration of the House with all the 24 members present.”

He said the ruling party cannot be preaching rule of law and breaching it on the other hand “because the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will capitalise on such abnormality to score cheap political point.”

He, however, maintained that the decision was taken in the “best interest of democracy”, saying, “nobody is taking sides on the matter.”

Meanwhile, Igbere TV had previously reported that the Edo Assembly on Wednesday, swore in member-elect representing Akoko-Edo II Constituency, Emmanuel Agbaje, which brings the number of lawmakers so far inaugurated to 12.

The House was reconvened at about 4:24p.m, and after the necessary formalities, the Speaker, Frank Okiye, administered the oath of office on Agbaje at exactly 4.31 p.m.

Christianity EtcRe: How Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola Handled Accusation Against A Pastor In His Days by Tecno66: 10:19am On Jul 04, 2019
DonXavi:
HOW APOSTLE JOSEPH AYO BABALOLA HANDLED ACCUSATION AGAINST A PASTOR IN HIS DAYS

During Babalola's time, one of his followers was accused of impregnating a lady, the whole camp was so angry with the said father.

The elders met and decided to suspend the Pastor while investigation was on, Babalola didn't say anything while the noise was on, he just watched.

The pastor was suspended despite denying ever touching the woman though she was very close to him like she was to every young minister around Baba.

After the meeting, Babalola was asked to talk but instead he prayed, here is the exact word he said during prayers...' FATHER, you have hidden this things from me, I know you know why, I dare not question you on why you didn't show me this but my FATHER, I thank you for allowing this to honour your name.
My FATHER one who is CLOTHED in fire, I want the child in this womb to be a boy, I want him to look exactly like the person who impregnated her and to be born in this very place where we have met to decide the fate of your servant because I don't know the truth on this matter.'

He went on to thank God for the said minister, the safe delivery of the child and that God should keep everybody alive till the day of the child birth.

The lady involved kept bold face still while the Pastor kept crying he has never touched a woman in his life based on Oga's word (they called Babalola Oga in those days).

Days, Weeks, months after, Babalola was back in Ibadan, 194×, the midwife came to call him that a woman was finding it difficult to deliver, he prayed into a bottle of water and asked them to give to her.

Boom, it was a baby boy, with 2 birth marks, four fingers on his right hand, big navel and a severed left ear.

The same place where the case was delivered, no DNA but he looks exactly like the elder who was at the forefront of accusing Babalola ally.

Everyone who saw the baby said this is elder Lagbaja carbon copy, the news was everywhere, elder got to know and he was about doing Usain Bolt, he was apprehended and brought before others... he revealed that the Pastor caught them while they were making love and they pleaded with him not to tell Baba but he insisted that he wouldn't cover them up.

While they were still thinking of what to do, it was discovered the lady was pregnant, so they made up the story.

This is one event I will never forget as the father who told me this said, that day everybody began to fear God more in the life of Babalola.

The baby died some months later while the elder stormed out of CAC to start his denomination though the church never took off before he died.

The Pastor went on to live a very fruitful life, he died few years ago, even above 100, he had the strength of a young man.

CGMedia:
Aggrieved youths of Okada community, near Benin City, Edo State, yesterday, murdered a yet-to-be identified Fulani man to avenge the death of an indigene, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV had reported on Tuesday that the woman was allegedly raped and murdered by suspected Fulani Herdsmen who have been terrorising the community.

Residents of the community took to the streets and blocked the ever-busy Benin-Ore expressway for several hours, thereby disrupting vehicular movements.

A check by Igbere TV on Thursday showed that the incident had degenerated into a major crisis late Tuesday night, Wednesday.

A resident of the community who spoke to our correspondent said the indigenes are on the hunt for her killers and already going after Fulani residents.

The Fulani man murdered on Wednesday is said to be among the penetrators of the crime.

It was learnt that the aggrieved youths had already murdered and cut off his legs by the time security agents arrived.

An eyewitness said the man was caught with arms around the farm where the victim had gone to before she was raped and killed.

When contacted by Igbere TV, the Edo State Commissioner of Police, DanMallam Muhammed, said the police had begun investigation into the incident.

He, however, decried that the residents took law into their hands “without waiting for the police investigation.”

The woman went to the farm and she was later discovered dead. The youth suspected it that herdsmen killed her but nobody saw the herdsmen killing her.”

According to PUNCH, the lawmakers elected Abubakar Suleiman, lawmaker representing Ningi Central Constituency (APC), as speaker, on Thursday.

Danlami Kawule, assembly member representing Zungur/Galambi, was also elected as deputy speaker.

This comes after nine Edo house of assembly lawmakers said to be loyal to Godwin Obaseki, the governor, edged out their colleagues by taking oath of office “secretly”.

They were sworn in shortly after 15 others protested the delay in inaugurating the assembly, blaming it on an attempt by the governor to impose his loyalists as presiding officers.

PoliticsRe: Why fake certificate holders get ministerial appointments- ex-DSS Director by Tecno66: 1:08pm On Jun 19, 2019
fergie001:
A former assistant director of the Department of State Services, Dennis Amachree, says the DSS has always informed the President about ministerial nominees with fake certificates.

He, however, said some still scale through based on political considerations.

Amachree said this during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Tuesday.

He was asked why some persons with fake certificates had gone on to become ministers despite DSS screening and Senate grilling.

In his response, Amachree said the DSS had always investigated the credentials of nominees and sent reports to the President but it was left to the President and the Senate to finalise the appointment.

He said, “Some of these things (fake certificates) are discovered. The SSS will not tell you this person ‘don’t take him, this person is fit, take him’. We do intelligence report and submit it to the President. And in the report, I am sure it will be included that this person’s certificate is not correct.

"And then of course, in taking a decision, they can overlook that certificate part of it and that is why sometimes you see situations where somebody’s certificate is faulty and he has to take a bow.”

The former DSS official said the screening was similar to what companies do to job seekers.

He said, “There are two different kinds of screening that are being done by the SSS and by the legislators in the Senate. What the SSS does is to do a positive vetting. Positive vetting encompasses the background of the subject where we go in and find out which schools you attended, whether your certificates are correct. It is a normal thing. Companies do it to ensure that the certificate a person is presenting is not a ‘Toronto’ one.”

The Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, had last year resigned after it was discovered that her exemption certificate purportedly issued by the National Youth Service Corps was fake.

A former Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, also admitted that he never did the NYSC programme which is compulsory for everyone who graduated.

This revelation is not different from Magu's case. The DSS wrote a security report advising against the appointment of Magu, yet they kept on forwarding his name and blaming Saraki.

He said most of the members elect have not completed their CCB and by so doing, they can't be inaugurated. Have the other members elect come to deny it or the house should keep on waiting for them?
So that's why the first seating of the house had to take place at 9pm and couldn't wait for the next day? Please, divert and face your lane.

Unigrad:
The constitution says 1/3 of the house can sit to decide anything and it will stand. 9 members out of 24 members is above 1/3 and their decide stands. It doesn't necessarily mean the house must be 2/3. I'm not supporting what they did but their actions are right in the eyes of the constitution.
Thank you all.
So, because he has a candidate for speakership, then the clerk of the house should be instructed to invite only 9 of the 24 members elect for the inaugural meeting? Is that how democracy is practiced? Because they know if all the elected members are present they don't have the numbers to install their puppet. Nigerian politicians behave as if they own tomorrow.

Truth is, pdp have enough evidence to counter for all the rigging, the only problem is that the apc led judiciary will not be fair after the envelopes
Will the anti corruption crusaders also share envelopes? If they do, thunder?
