Reinamaria:🤣🤣 Nah. I feel like we're starting to become friends; won't be nice if this is short lived. |
Reinamaria:That's true, but only to crappy phones marketers who want unsuspecting prospects to be victims of purchasing a 9nm SOC powered |
Reinamaria:Yes, it's a divine piece of plastic |
damzy88:Looks to me like you still won't buy either of these phones, even if your thread had a thousand pages of useful arguments. There's nothing you need that hasn't already been said. More comments may end up clouding your judgement, unless there's none and you're only enjoying the attention, plus the drama that comes with it. |
falcon01:You can actually modify the UI (I'll attach a picture of a simple modification I did in November on my iPhone 14 Pro Max). There are other things you mentioned that aren't completely correct. Here are some facts: All mobile OEMs copy features from one another. In fact, some companies thrive in dubbing other brands' devices look and features. Xiaomi can relate. - Apple isn't one to jump headfirst into copy a feature when Android-based device makers have already pushed it out (even when not perfected) to their customers. Fingerprint scanner on Android devices had been out for 3 years and it was a joke the whole time, but when Apple added it to the iPhone 5S and 5C, it just worked. We all know that Android is still battling with face unlock, although they introduced it first, but Apple's face ID has been Amazing since 2017. What I'm trying to say is that: - When Apple decides to copy a feature, they make it the Apple way. It just works. - While I enjoy Android devices and have used several Samsung flagships, I love the app experience on IOS. While an app may look basic on Android, you'll get a whole different level oh wow on iOS. You know why this happens? Apart from the fact that developers could code an app to work with iPhone iPad and MacBook without needing to rewrite their code, they (developers) are more motivated to put in more work because they tend to get a larger market of users willing to support them in cash. This is why they don't put much work into Android apps development. I tend to use the Twitter Space a lot, and even if you use the Samsung S23 Ultra, you won't get a basic, but super useful search bar option when you click on "Spaces", which means you can't search for what interests you. This is as frustrating as having to pay to use my music player, right? Wrong! Who says you have to pay for songs on iPhones? Just download Audiomack and you're good. But even at this, if you can spend $1000 on a phone, it shouldn't be hard to spend 900 Naira every month on Spotify subscription. My conclusion: iOS and Android are both amazing platforms, and it is a poor mentality to say that people only buy iPhones to show their status, or because they're Yahoo Boys who want to have many girls chasing them. We should learn to respect other people's choices. People should be able to use iPhones, Android devices or even landlines and that's fine by everyone else.

EgunMogaji2:Thanks for the update, sir. I'll definitely get mine done when I'm back in town. |
EgunMogaji2:All right sir. I wish you the very best. Please give an update when it gets fixed. I've been to this particular office at Palms Mall, Ring Road. I'm looking to get an Airtel esim, too. |
bamitinn:No one will chat you for pictures. Post the pictures here and state the price. |
EgunMogaji2:Toggle airplane mode off and on. If it doesn't solve the issue, delete the esim and rescan it from the print out they gave you. |
Happyhimself:I enjoy both differently, depending on what I'm doing. While I enjoy using my Samsung Galaxy Buds Live for online tutorials and entertainment streaming, I prefer gaming and doing karaoke with my USB C AKG earphones. |
This video makes me laugh. I'm wondering how four-finger mobile gamers will be categorised. |

sunshineV:You love football this much? ![]() |
saddik:Your area probably doesn't have 5G yet. As for the APN settings you requested, MTN's default internet provision settings will work just fine. Just in case you don't have any activated, create a new APN and name it whatever you like, but ensure that you use these settings: APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net Username: web Password: web Leave other boxes as they are, save your new APN and activate it. Before climbing this Everest of a step, if you're sure that your area has MTN's 5G network, ensure that you've tried to toggle between 4G or LTE only and 5G network modes. At times, you only need to select the 5G option in your settings, and then you'd not even need to struggle with the APN settings. |
Lock screen and home screen in 2023. I can't believe that this thread is 7 years old already.

shezy14:First off, hiding behind keys to dish out 50 shades of your nicknames shows how intelligence malnourished you are. Secondly, I didn't bring in the whole Google pixel lineups when I mentioned the screen burn issue. Try dey read. Finally, maybe you should lay hands on Samsung flagships and see what a premium when should look like. Even midrange Xiaomi phones have amazing displays that are rid of tan lines. Edit: I took a quick look at your profile and here's what I have to say: I pray that you find the Pixel 2XL or any of the 3 series you're looking for. Maybe na then your eye go clear. |

shezy14:A little research would have saved you from this uninformed comment you just made. That OLED is better than LCD is a well established fact, but read about the infamous Google pixel screen burn issue. How's a screen that leaves a digital tan mark better than one that doesn't? |

Chaos14:You've clearly used none of the phones in question. The difference between iPhone 12 pro max's battery life and the S21 base model is day and night. The S21 doesn't stand a chance. Even the S20 has a better battery life than S21. Yes, I've used all these phones I mentioned. |
classic200609:How's battery life on your S21, compared to the iPhone 12PM? |
UNico:Just like with Pixel 1, 2 and 3 series, pixel 4 series suffer the infamous Google pixel screen burn issue, so if we're talking screen quality, XR may have an LCD screen, but it's better. Google probably needs to patronise Samsung or LG ewe their OLED screen game on. I'm not sure if they got things better from Pixel 5 and upwards, though. |

Mendelssohn:Change your mentality, bro. That "guy" whose hair is plaited works with Meta, and is frigging rich. |
