DHL Tonjeola1: The 60 men's steel watches you order, what means of shipping you used? |
Thanks, I spoke with the customer care extensively yesterday, we kept on discussing to and fro, all the option he kept giving me will make me incur customs duties as if they have a cut or share in duties. You may contact me on whatsapp so we can talk 08174440031. Thanks again. dav8id: sorry for your bad experiences with custom and DHL. Here is a simple trick , creat myDHL account, next contact dhl through your mydhl account profile and request for account number, they will not send you the account number but instead they will call you through phone and ask you some question related to the what you want to import, never reveal to the agent what you are importing just told him you need import account number. The account number will not be giving to you but they will tell you what to do, whatever what they tell you forget about it . Instead tell him you want to meet him in person and discuss personal issue, I guest younknowmwhat I mean? You guys agree and meet each other , tell him your mind and he will surely show you way out. I will not like to reveal,it here cost dhl agent are also on nairaland and it will affect me in person. Not when filling your info on mydhl account, put in your real info course DHL nearest office to agent will call you on phone and that will make it easier for you to meet each other. |
Hello importers, I have read all your experiences, am here to share mine. Last 3months I ordered 60 pieces of men's steel watches and I was slammed a custom duty of N25000, because of the fear of customs confisticating my goods, I paid. Now I want to import 15 laptops using DHL, and I am scared of using DHL because they might give an outrageous custom duty. And I am also afraid of thirdparty shipping coy because they own fees self is too much and they calculate dollar for you at N167 per $. If you know a way can use DHL and still avoid unreasonable duties, please be free to leave your replies. Thanx |

Hot mess! Nonsensical thingz |
I'm apalled.GEJ you can actually look at the camera! It doesn't bite. And to think you can lie on 'international' TV about power supply is just hopeless! Why 9ja go better? When most Nigerians are hypocritical and sentimental. He didn't dress the part, he didn't speak the part and obviously didn't act the part. One of the biggest responsibility of a leader is the ability to inspire his followers with WORDS(speech) backed up with actions. None of these sentimental idiots on this Nairaland can convince me otherwise. |
Even if they were robbers, as long as they were not armed why should they be killed like rabid dogs. Even if they were armed self.....that was too gruesome and barbaric. This act can be likened to using an AK47 rifle to kill a fly....haba. The sooner one leaves this country the better! |
They weren't even armed and they didn't even steal those stuffs. They allegedly went to visit their debtor who couldn't pay, so they took his laptop and phone only for the debtor to alarm everyone that they were thieves. I can't watch the video knowing they were innocent, or so the story says enitan2002: Do you know their previous history on robbery cases. I blamed both the students and those who carried out jungle justice. |
Seconded by me, Tribalism has come to stay in Nigeria. Each tribe sees itself as more self-righteous than the other. Nigeria and the UAE found oil almost at the same time, UAE used their oil to develop their economy massively but what are we doing? We loot our oil money to develop other countries economy. Our people are suffering, the cabals are enjoying, we are arguing on tribal heroes, I smh. And I weep for this misconception of a nation called Nigeria, tribes don't even like one another how can there be progress? I thank God, its not what happens on Nairaland that happens in reality, maybe we'll be on the street beating drums of war *sigh* vislabraye: Tribalism has come to stay in Nigeria. Achebe has his opinion. |
No, it's because of uneducated aggressive slow-poking tribalistic beast like you. Stupid fvcktard! Ngodigha: Is there anything wrong why you people don't marry your smelly women?. Is it because of their smelly cuntt. |
Some Igbos started the history of betrayal in this country: 1. The first Military coup: all other tribes killed their representatives, some igbos did not kill any of the rep, Hausa lost their great heroes like Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello, yoruba lost Akintola and some other people, some Igbos due to their 'smartness' informed Zik and co. about the coup and they fled. Till today that is why some Hausas seriously hate most igbos till date. When Hausa's saw that the coup favoured Igbos, and that Igbos didn't lose anything and they even gained presidency! that was when Gen Aguiyi ironsi was killed and a yoruba man died defending Aguiyi's life. 2. Awolowo was eyeing presidency: Zik saw that Awo has great prospects (pioneer in development), Zik gave his allegiance to the north to defeat Awo. When Awo went back Akintola has taken his place already and he won't bulge! That led to war in the yoruba land "wet eh" that led to the gruesome death of many yorubas, yorubas burning one another with petrol and macheting one another till a state of emergency was placed on yorubaland and Awo was imprisoned (if not he too would have been killed by the coup) 3.Secession plan: Ojukwu should have surrendered when innocent igbo people were dieing but no he wouldn't he watched over 3m innocent igbo souls die because of sheer greed and ego, why blame Awo for genocide? why should Awo support Biafra over Nigeria? And now some Igbos cry betrayal songs on every other tribe. |
So unreasonable, such a slowpoke alongside with your bigot likers...I can't even finish reading your rubbish, talking trash, you be dustbin?.... Ikengawo: Igbos respect Hausas because the Hausa people like the Igbo people have heart. If the hausa man love you, you must know it. If the Hausa man hates you, you must know it. They open, honest, and clear about their objective and who they are. If they're against us and we're against them it's a clear and open fight and everyone acts based of bravery. |
Chief Obafemi Awolowo had allegience with Nigeria not Biafra, when Gen O. Ojukwu decided to secede did he make a pact or did he seek allegance with the yorubas or Awo himself, were the yoruba supposed to be part of the Biafran nation? He believes Biafra could successfully pull the trick of secession. Awo gave the FRN intelligent strategies to squash Biafra, Ojukwu had the freedom to surrender as a respected man of valour he didn't, so no-one can blame Awo or the yorubas for causing the death of 2millin Biafrans. If Biafrans have a problem with anybody its not the yorubas, its the FRN or the Biafran leader. Yorubas owe Biafrans no allegiance because we were not interested in secession. Awo did what a loyal citizen of his country is expected to do: made sure FRN cut the supply of food and gave FRN the strategies of countering land mines with herds of cow. I see no wrong in what he has done. Now for honourable literary giant to poke is finger in a national hero's eyeball, is very disturbing for me because I have great respect for Achebe but I am very dissappointed. |
I heard they sent mail to the parties that passed as well as those that didn't pass, so if you haven't got a mail, relax till you get yours! I'm a bit apprehensive myself! All the best friends |

Cynthia Osokogu had some new facebook friends she had been connecting with for a while. They were two young men and also university students like her. They promised Cynthia a good time anytime she comes to Lagos. Cynthia was a post-graduate student of Nasarawa State University and was into the business of cloth retailing, and travelling to Lagos seemed like a great idea, especially when it’s an All-Expense Paid Trip. From the gist, we heard that the guys paid her plane ticket, hotel accommodation, and when Cynthia touched down Lasgidi on 22nd July 2012, they were there to pick her up. This is the ugly part; one thing led to another at the hotel, Cynthia was robbed of her business money and strangled to death. The two young men left her body in the hotel and cleansed themselves of any trace by deleting her from their facebook account. Her body was found with no ID cards and her mobile phone had been stolen, they could not identify her or call friends and family, thus her body was deposited in a morgue in Lagos. But breeze blow fowl nyash the moment one of them answered a call on Cynthia's phone and it was traced down to Festac. Therefore, her missing person’s police report was submitted to the Area E Command in Festac. This enabled her family to find her body in the morgue and also led them to the hotel. Using CCTV from the hotel, the killers were identified. According to reports, these two young men are university students who have now confessed that they killed Cynthia and she is their sixth victim – the gang reportedly specializes in luring unsuspecting young women, robbing them of their possessions before killing them. Though there is speculation that their motive was ritualistic, it appears that it was greed and their main goal was to rob and kill. The pharmacist who supplied the drugs used on Cynthia and hotel staff has also been arrested. According to Police spokesperson Ngozi Braide, “Six people were arrested on Sunday over the incident and investigations are ongoing”. Whats the Morale of the story? RIP my dear. http://www.amebortalk.com/members-gossip/naija-gossip/1935 http://lindaikeji..co.uk/2012/08/missing-cynthia-osokogus-corpse-found.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&m=1 http://ihini..co.uk/2012/08/tragic-missing-lady-cynthia-osokogu.html?m=1 http://m.facebook.com/udoka.osokogu?v=feed |

xcuggs_m: I just drove past some LASTMA official on Western Ave, Lagos; all I did was swerve my SUV a little toward where they were standing and believe me, they all leapt out of the way - triple jump style!.Hehehehehe! Experience is the best teacher! A police man will never stand in harms-ways! Sharp guys |
omosexy1: Oh this is so sad. I pity her, I pity her family. She would lose everything, her job, her freedom hmmm God. Please oh, obey traffic laws. I am also sorry for the family of the deceased LASTMA official. A huge costly mistake.Caused by Fashola's faceless laws! It takes time to adapt to new things Nigerians were born, bred and grew up in lawlessness, why make the penalty "NIGERIAN PRISON"? Its too much, what if it you...? May God help us not to fall into the hand of wicked law.....amen |
