I have been trying to pay my application fee on IRCC portal using my GTBank card. Transaction is being declined. This is not my first time of doing international transaction. What could be wrong?

Your security number is the Security, 3 digit number at the back of your card. Try using that instead of your pin number to authenticate the transaction. This might solve your ish.

Please note that GTB has one of the highest exchange rates for international payments. Gtb might not be your best option as there might be a difference of 20CAD compared to banks like sterling(sterling has the best rate).

For British Council, you need to raise a bank draft in any bank you have an account with.
British Council would be the Recipient.
15k would be the amount.
take the bank draft to BC office with your old TRF(test result form).
you would be given a form to fill where you would check(mark) the components you need to remark while your old TRF would be collected from you.
you should also send a follow up mail to the following:

Honestly, i sent a minimum of 2 follow up mails to Australia and the Uk for both MOD and BC respectively for the 6 EORs i applied for.

Wow..Big Congrats on your high determination and optimistic heart..Seriously I'm so humbled each time I see and read Multiple TestTakers who never gave up no matter the undesired scores. it's obvious these two bodies have hidden agenda on most test markings and scores. I'm hoping to rewrite my 2nd attempt soon. But I got a very positive knowledge from a recent aced test testimony of getting a Positive EOR from MOD, by sending or copying their Australia Office the EOR email and getting a speedy response and Upgraded score. Let's All Try and Maximise this added action during MOD EOR.

I was so depressed that I even requested a remark for the 9 in listening. I don't wanna know how all components changed or how there was a full band change in 2 component(even in the reading which is supposed to be objective).

I would worry more about coherence especially for task 2 and grammatical accuracy for both tasks considering the time pressure. You had an 8 before so you stand a better chance in your next (and last attempt hopefully). But get a third eye to look at your personal writing drafts, you might be surprised at the evaluation.

you mean maximum should be plus 10 words. anything beyond could discourage the examiner from marking judiciously.
If this is true, then that would be unfair but it wont hurt to be on the safe side.

250-260 not more than 260. just a hint from someone that marks ielts , he is based in canada tho. just worshiped in my church and a friend to my Pastor so we discussed my predicaments on the outcome of my wifey result. she scored 8,8,8.5,6.5 in writing 6 times . And all he told me to tell her was to reduce the words to 260 max that most markers rule out when its getting to 270 and more. this is just an advice tho, just trying to help. the wey this country is when i become PM for Canada i will allow all Nigerian free entry oo

Please don't be weighed down by the results you are getting, I know it can be frustrating but always know that quitters don't win. Put in more effort on your practice. As for CBT, please try and watch the sample videos and be sure about your typing skills too before you opt for it but generally CBT is fine and easy. We will celebrate your success here.amen

I will recommend CBT for a change, with prayers, you will surely ace it. In CBT, the computer will do the counting for you, the few minutes you used to use for counting can be used for proof-reading. Proof-reading alone in some cases makes the difference between a 6/6.5 and 7/7.5 in writing. If you want to practice for CBT, do as much practice tests as possible in a similar environment (with a computer timing you and counting the words). I aced it after 5 times of trying and I used Liz and writeandimprove.com basically for the last time with CBT. writeandimprove.com will grade you and allow you to track the band your writing is currently in and the progress made.

Please don't give up, it will definitely end in praise.

according to him if it above the +10 / -10 the marker rules out the rest which might be your conclusion (.5)

task 2; 250 words(+10/-10)
all my writings have always been about +20 words and above.
i literally count them at the end, 1 by 1.
