Omoawoke:I think they acted a skit together and the sharia police found their acts morally offensive. Hence, they got a judgement for them to be forcefully married. The northern elites need to do better. It is same people that conduct mass weddings as some form of empowerment. All these, in this century! |
AMINDA:You are a very divisive and vile person. It is on record that Nigerian Army had been recruiting using the state of origin to ensure that all states are represented. Sometimes ago, we read here how some people from other states illegally obtained indigene certificates of Lagos State so that they could join the Nigerian Armed forces using Lagos States' quota. Now, how is it wrong if Lagos state government decides to create awareness for their indigenes on the opportunity for recruitment exercise? |
nairalanda1:Why you come sabi Nigerians like this? |
EponObi:Please, stop this North versus South thing. To win an election in Nigeria, you need votes from both South and North. As at the last time I checked, some Northern lawmakers still defected to APC 2 days ago. |
FarahAideed:In all fairness, what specific policy that "destroyed lives of countless Nigerians" can you attribute to this gentleman? |
Sheuns:They were not given temporary approvals to use reserved areas. Rather, they went beyond the boundaries of the land that they were allocated based on the excerpt below. Our findings revealed that several automobile dealers, who were previously granted temporary approval to operate on designated sites, have brazenly exceeded their allocated boundaries. |

tammie24:My brother, the decision to grant pardon to these people cannot be excused under any guise. The bucks stop at President Tinubu's table. Yes, there was a committee that recommended candidates for pardon but I believe the President scrutinized the list and agreed with their recommendations before giving approval. The list is disgraceful to say the least! |
happney65:The report itself stated that the said revenue is a combination of many sources as can be seen below. Danmaliki explained that the revenue performance reflected steady improvement in the state’s Value Added Tax (VAT), Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), and federal statutory allocations, alongside aids and grants from development partners. |
Maxymilliano:May I ask, what empathy did Obi exercise when he demolished houses in Anambra back then as the governor of Anambra state or is it a case of preaching what he didn't practice while he had the chance? |
ipobcannibals:Even if it is not death, the penalty should be stricter than it is currently. The risk should match the reward, that is the only way to discourage this menace. |
SmartyPants:Well I guess it is the thrill that comes from the opportunity of advising someone whose shoes they are not qualified to lace. That is the power of the internet. For their mind, some of them will be like "me self been advise Anthony Joshua sometimes back". |
tunjijones:You are spot on and I don't believe that they are asking for too much. |
Validated:Wait a moment I need to understand something, is it only the current president that has spent $3 billion on the turn around maintenance of the refineries in just about 2 years in office? |
Willy2025:Security seems to be top-notch in the U.S because they have a principle of "see something, say something". Back here in Nigeria, many people are actually accessories after the fact because people tend tend to not wanna talk because of sentiments like "I will not be an instrument of sending someone to prison", "I cannot expose him because he is my son" and stuffs like that. |
Willy2025:This is where the role of citizens in governance comes into place. How many Nigerian fathers can do what this guy did? |
TonyeBarcanista:Bia Nwokem, why you like wahala like this? Shey youths cannot protect the person from their clan again in peace? |
AMINDA:Are you suggesting that the FG should continue to borrow the in order to pay subsidy to a few because you fear that citizens may be unable to hold their state governors unaccountable? |
I hate to get myself involved in the business of politicians but it is quite funny that Aregbe is coming out to make this statement now, after his unsuccessful outing with ADC in the elections over the weekend. Could this be a cry for soft landing? Then beyond the first observation, Aregbesola as a right-hand man of Tinubu, in the past, has thrown shades and made horrible statements about others who were not in their camp back then. For example, Former Governor Oyinolola (Olokuku) suffered several verbal excoriations and political attacks from this dude. So, how come Aregbe is one talking about this now? |
callmeDDD:Atiku lacks critical leadership trait. And it explains why he doesn't command much respect among the northern politicians. Except for his deep pocket, he hasn't developed or exhibited enough political sagacity commensurate with his length of stay in the political arena, which I estimate between 1992-2025. At least we saw Obi everywhere but that atiku eh, he will never come out and campaign for anyone but during the main elections, he will want everyone to campaign for him?Again, he seems incapable of being selfless. Hence, everything must be about him and his political fortunes. This prevents him from genuinely investing in other people's political aspirations, thereby helping him build his political network. Compare him with Buhari, Tinubu and say Kwankwanso and you will see the difference in how they invest themselves in the political development of others who later become useful to them. |
SalamRushdie:They will soon abuse you for saying that Jonathan's entry into the race would improve Tinubu's chances, but when and if it happens they would blame it on rigging. |
Shattuck:You have highlighted things that need to be done for Nigerian sport in the medium to long term and I agree with most of your analysis. However, in this short period of time under Tinubu, I think his team in charge of sports have focused on the low hanging fruits and they have addressed some needless sporting administration problems, many of which were self-inflicted. For example, one of the major problems Nigerians have had in the past is unpaid bonuses and allowances. In some cases, players had to threaten withdrawal of their services before they were paid. Many of such incidences are on record. You will agree with me that correcting this foundational error is the first step to remedying our sporting performance woes. You can build world class facilities and have great sports program but if you keep disrespecting your representatives their allowances and bonuses, it cannot bode well! |
phorget:Davido may not be a good example in the circumstance. What if you use, Whizkid, Ayrastar or A shake and maybe Olamide. Those are people who grew from humble background. |
Read comments above and I feel repulsed by many of them. Why so? Government is informing of the existence of an intervention that could benefit you and you go like "is this not vote buying", "this is too small for SE businessman". The negativity is crazy. At the end of the day same people will go and be begging for handouts online. Criticize government, but do it only when necessary. No be everything be criticism in the name of stupid opposition. |
Kukutente23:Thanks. Yes, it is a double edged sword. She can look plump and a bit healthy if she is getting adequate care. But the problem is in her vitals, because they have to continually check if her organs (kidney, heart and lungs et al.) have not started malfunctioning. So the estimated remaining of life could be as a result of the organs shutting down or metastasis. Only the comprehensive result of her vitals can help. |
Kukutente23:From 2020 till October 2024, my mum looked healthy and she could move about of course, she was having radio and chemotherapy. By late October, she couldn't move around like she used to. She became bedridden and she presented with end of life features. She died early this year. |
sunnytechhimsel:Please, can you take some of the pastors to the LUTH Cancer center. Many people there are in urgent need of this intervention and I believe it will help you win many souls for the Kingdom of God. |
columbus007:Please my brother, may this thing never be your portion or that of anybody close. When cancer accelerates end of life, there is really nothing that anybody can do. If the person likes, let him or her spend multimillions. It is easy to say that she is not serious when you aren't the one bearing the brunt of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. |
JAWBONE:This underscores how the marketers have grown to be the Achilles' and the problem in our energy self sufficiency. Over a period of time, they have grown to become a behemoth dictating the terms, pricing, delivery et al. These people have amassed do much wealth management ver the years, so rationale Nigerians need to ask questions as to why these marketers wouldn't aggregate resources and build refineries. Bunch of criminals! Gone are those days when they would orchestrate artificial scarcity just so to milk Nigerians. |
PigTormentor:Supported. This is even more important now that the lady involved in the Ibom Air Saga is to be prosecuted and is in detention already. There shouldn't be sacred cows. |
Fiscus105:Perhaps he believed that they were going for gospel ministration. The lies that politicians tell! |
The full weight of the law must be brought to bear on KWAM1 for his reprehensible behaviour. Who e be? Mtchew! |
