As a matter of fact there was minimal violence during the presidential elections. Violence was more prevalent during the Gubernatorial elections due to the heat generated during the federal elections.

I share your sentiment fully and I do agree that we need to fully float the Naira. And talking about my second point, I never spoke about manufacturing. I only inferred that after floating the Naira we need to resume productive activities whether the production of goods or rendering of services. We cannot continue to have a negative balance of trade or payment.

You have a point and what you have recommended is full floating of the Naira. This will stabilize the Naira but it will exchange at about #2000 to about $1 until we start producing sufficiently for our consumption and exportation.

There is what you call information asymmetry which places the lady at a disadvantage. In treating the lady, what information did this guy come into possession of, that gives him leverage over her. That is what this is all about.

That seems to be his best bet because a thousand opinions will not influence the supreme court. What can help Atiku is a court pronouncing the document forged based on American practices. If that happens, Atiku can proceed to the Supreme court in Nigeria with the judgement.

If Tinubu, violated any rule in the U.S, it is very easy. Forgery is a big deal in the United States, it is easy for Atiku to file a suit in the American courts and to get the courts to pronounce Tinubu of forgery or otherwise.

The determination of forgery of U.S documents or otherwise cannot be done by Nigerians on the social media. Atiku has relied on the independence of the American judiciary thus far, he can still stretch his luck a little bit more. Who knows! He might just strike gold, I date him to.

you guys still don't get it, so what you are saying is Nigeria's law shouldn't exist, in America certificate may not hold that much weight but in Nigeria it isn't the same, whose law will then be used US laws or Nigeria's, certificate is to Nigeria what transcript is to america, now can you tell me the US will allow you to submit a forged transcript, even if you graduated from the institution, can you travel with a forged visa even when you have an original visa would their laws allow you to go free even if you have an original one, so many nations have different laws if in Sudan you don't need to study at all before you can be awarded a degree, can I now come to Nigeria and claim I have a degree in medicine and when I am being challenged I get to defend my self with what's happens in Sudan, even tinubu knows there are legal issues that was why he fought against this, if this was a normal procedure why fight it? Thanks for mentioning me. My analysis isn't based on any emotions of whether the dude attended the school or not. It is based on my interpretation of the facts of the matter which I will expatiate on.

First, the authority to issue certificates to students lies with the institution (CSU) and if it is agreed that they authorize replacement certificates by 3rd parties, that is the end. It would have been a different case if it was a Nigerian institution because replacement certificates are issued by the school themselves.

The replacement certificate that the dude parades is American and guided by the American rules and practice. Therefore if CSU says it isn't forged based on practice then nobody can pronounce it forged. This should be basic logic. In the case of his forfeiture, it was argued that the American law recognizes both civil and criminal forfeitures and that his was a civil forfeiture without conviction by American law. Once that was established the court upheld the argument and it was over. The same thing would play out here and that is it.

The validity of a document can only be established by the body who has the authority to issue it. Not any other person; something applies to the forgery of a signature.

Which of the representatives of CSU has come out to say his or signature was forged? In the absence of such this is a wild goose chase that is not leading anywhere

If Atiku's legal team truly believe the bunkum that they are spreading, let them sue Tinubu in in a U.S court for forgery of his certificate. A pronouncement by the U.S court that what Tinubu did is inconsistent with the practices in America and that it amounts to forgery, will help serve Atiku's cause. He has shown belief in the American judicial system, so I dare him to take it further.

For some of us that are fairly acquainted with the practices in the U.S, like Kperogi said there is nothing like forgery of certificate here once all the information on it are consistent with the school's record, you can get a replacement and it does not equate to a forgery. Honestly, I don't think Tinubu needs to use iron-fist against them. Tinubu just needs to leave them to help him campaign for his second term. I have seen a few people who didn't vote for Tinubu but now supports him having heard from the school that he attended and graduated brilliantly.

You are very right. This case is lost especially when the school has declared that ex-students can get their replacement certificates from third parties as long as all the details on the certificate are consistent with the school's record.

It is the school alone can say that it's document was forged and in this instance they have clearly stated that their certificate is not forged. The court will take their words above any other person's. The opposition, through Atiku that ought to have been united to contest against the ruling party broke up days to the elections and now Atiku is seeking collaboration with Obi and Kwankwanso. I find that call hilarious and stupid at the same time.

Perhaps, there can be other allegations against this guy. The deposition at the court has proven that his certificate wasn't forged. It is good that he has been made to go through this scrutiny. Under oath, the CSU university authority stated that a student could get a replacement certificate from a third party.

My concerns were:
1. Did this guy attend CSU?
Facts suggest that he did

2. Did the guy falsify his results to look brilliant?
Facts released by the authorities based on his transcripts showed that he excelled while in school. That is refreshing, at least I know that the guy isn't a dullard

I don't believe that the guy forged his certificate because the school (CSU) stated that the replacement certificate he presented is consistent with the replacement certificate for year 1997 which was the year he requested for his too. It wouldn't make sense for him to forge a certificate that he earned with his grade of passes. If it was a transcript, I would have been tempted to believe that he would alter that because of grades.

As at 1997, Tinubu was still in the U.S and could easily apply for a replacement of his certificate. While, I do not know much about him being the Richard Daley student it is important to know that we are in a globalized world now and if Tinubu impersonated a female as being suggested by some, it wouldn't be for long before the said "girl's" mates would appear to say Tinubu wasn't their mate. Talking of which I do recall seeing that Tinubu's picture appeared somewhere on the school's documents.
